Memento (2000,  R)
Memento
You need a lot of concentration for this film, it starts at the end and works back to the beginning. Guy Pearce plays a man who after an incident cannot make new memories and relies on the facts tattoo'd on his body and the photographs he carries around to work out who his wife's killer is.

The Count of Monte Cristo (2002,  PG-13)
The Count of Monte Cristo
The best revenge story ever. A great adaption of the book. Performances were great all around, but the performance has to be Guy Pearce for being believably arrogant and a character that compells you to hate with a vengence
3
The Proposition (2005,  R)
The Proposition
There were many great performances in this film, however I felt pretty bored throughout until the last ten minutes.
4
L.A. Confidential (1997,  R)
L.A. Confidential
Watchable with some great actors, but a little overated in my opinion
5
Ravenous (1999,  R)
Ravenous
I?d like to be able to say after you bear with the frustratingly dull first hour, it then goes on to become a great film, when in fact it does lift slightly, but only in comparison to the first part. The oddly placed humour can often go amiss, but then there are laughable moments when there shouldn't be.

It's hard to believe Guy Pearce is the same Actor that came from the Australian Soap 'Neighbours' all those years ago, it's quite impressive to see one of the shows Actors go on to be genuninely talented.
