Breaking and Entering (2007,  R)
Breaking and Entering
Entertaining and different, a love triangle with unusual circumstances. An easy laid back watch.
2
Paris Je T'aime (2007,  R)
Paris Je T'aime
18 Short films brought to you by Aclaimed international Directors. It?s important to know this before watching, as, if you are not someone who is familiar with the Directors in the collective film then it may confuse you a little.

Filled with famous faces, Paris Je T?aime discovers all kinds of perceptions of love within the city of love.

Fairly original in creation (although it has been done previously in Asian Cinema with ?Three Extremes?) this collection of stories unleash all kinds of creativity in it?s making.

Cache (Hidden) (2005,  R)
Cache (Hidden)
"The first great film of the 21st Century" - well, that's what it says on the cover of the dvd. I think this is the first sub-titled film for me, that seems to lose something in translation. According to the synopsis ("This utterly compelling psychological thriller..."), I feel this didn't come across at all, perhaps that was something you sensed in certains tones of the voices etc as opposed to any visual content.

This film was a disappointment to me, as I really was expecting good things, however it seemed like a bit of an anti-climax and had a very abrupt ending which I didn't understand at all.

The Unbearable Lightness of Being (1988,  R)
The Unbearable Lightness of Being
It was more like ?the unbearable anticipation that the end of the film will be soon?! This film seemed to go on forever, without any excitement, in fact, this has to be one of the dullest films ever made and that?s uncharacteristic of both Daniel Day Lewis and Juliette Binoche.

It?s early days in regards to the amount of films I?ve seen of Juliette Binoche, but is an Actress that comes highly recommended and she has certainly worked with some interesting people.
