Awakenings (1990,  PG-13)
Awakenings
Atruly amazing tale, based on true events. A well played role by Deniro and Williams.

An emotional story and dilemma spurring Neurological research into a group of people with a chronic 'mystery' condition.

Good Morning, Vietnam (1987,  R)
3
Jumanji (1995,  PG)
4
The Fisher King (1991,  R)
The Fisher King
An unlikely friendship ocurs when events throw Jeff Bridges and Robin Williams togehter in a kind of quest. Great performances from both. This is definitely an unusual storyline and a very enjoyable watch.

VERDICT: Definitely worth a watch
5
Mrs. Doubtfire (1993,  PG-13)
6
One Hour Photo (2002,  R)
One Hour Photo
I felt the ending to this film was somewhat a bit of an anti-climax, although I did quite enjoy the story. I think the idea was better than the actual film itself in this instance.

VERDICT: Worth a watch if it comes on tv.
7
Insomnia (2002,  R)
Insomnia
A watchable film although therer were quite a few boring parts.
8
Dead Poets Society (1989,  PG)
9
Jack (1996,  PG-13)
10
Night at the Museum (2006,  PG)
Night at the Museum
Love or hate Ben Stiller, this has to be the best ?come to life? kids adventure story since Jumanji. With a storyline that kept me interested until the very end. A large comedy cast plucked from both sides of the pond, ?Night of the Museum? was thoroughly entertaining.
11
Happy Feet (2006,  PG)
Happy Feet
An all singing, all dancing film that just oozes cuteness. Happy Feet is creative with an adorable storyline, that puts a little smile on your face
12
Patch Adams (1998,  PG-13)
13
A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001,  PG-13)
A.I. Artificial Intelligence
Steven Speilberg?s modern take on the classic Pinnochio story is a high quality special effects film. With interesting characters and what starts out to be a magical futuristic story, soon turns out to a be a darkened tale of love and loss.

Robin Williams is probably most well known for his comic characters and comedy films, but in fact it's the more serious roles that I prefer.
