The Pledge (2001,  R)
The Pledge
A much better film than I'd thought first time around, the haunting music throughout sets the atmospheric mood with a subject that is not easy to tackle.

VERDICT: A definite watch if it comes on tv.
2
Beowulf (2007,  PG-13)
Beowulf
This film is worth seeing, if only for the amazing computer images. This very life-like tale is a phonomenally creative piece. You'll recognise stars even if you didn't know they appeared in the film.

The storyline at times was hard to concentrate on, but that only goes to show the detail that went into the film.

Quite surprising the certificate for this film is just a 12 and there are some pretty violent scenes, certainly not one for the young children to watch.
3
State of Grace (1990,  R)
State of Grace
An impressive cast including Sean Penn, Gary Oldman and Ed Harris, all of whom played great roles. A very enjoyable story, witht he most realistic shooting scenes I think I've ever watched. This film is definitely worthy of another watch, just to pick up on pieces missed first time around.

This is a definite recommendation to anyone who enjoys Organised crime/gangster style films.
4
Breaking and Entering (2007,  R)
Breaking and Entering
Entertaining and different, a love triangle with unusual circumstances. An easy laid back watch.
5
Unbreakable (2000,  PG-13)
Unbreakable
Not what I'd expected at all for this film, however I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing? The story itself I found rather slow and I guess I expected something a little better with these two great ators in it, it's certainly different and original and worth a watch, but I'm not gonna plan on re-watching this one at any stage.

Robin Wright Penn is fastly becoming one of Hollywood's most believable Actresses, looking forward to seeing much more of her in future projects.
