A Clockwork Orange (1971, R)
Probably one of the most original films ever made and certainly one of the most controversial in it?s day and still today. |

| 2 |
Gangster No. 1 (2000, R)
Great perfromances by Paul Bettany and Malcolm McDowell sharing the lead role as younger and older versions of a psychotic gangester. |

Evilenko (2004, Unrated)
A sinister and gruesome tale based on a true story, well played by Malcolm McDowell. The film starts off with some pretty realistic, uncomfortable viewing which actually brings the reality into this story. It does seem to go on a while and some of the acting (with the exception of McDowell) wasn?t all that good. |

If.... (1968, Unrated)It was clear to see Malcolm McDowell shine through against the rest of the cast here and I'm sure this film helped launch McDowell's career into some pretty controversial roles, however I found the whole film pretty dull and pretty to watch with quite a pointless plot. |

Malcolm McDowell isn't afraid to take on controversial roles, as is evident in his filmography. I've not seen nearly enough films to rate him as an Actor yet, so I'm sure he's going to work his way up through my Actor's ranking in the near future.
