Iron Man (2008,  PG-13)
Iron Man
An impressive film in terms of graphics, machinery and of course the actual plot and how our Superhero actually emerges.

A great performance by Downey Jr, who is at times very comical. A nice comeback role for Gwyneth and an almost unrecognisable look for Bridges.

Overall a well put together film, which was extremely entertaining.

Gothika (2003,  R)
Gothika
A film that isn?t highly rated by most, but remains to be one of my favourites and most re-watched films that I own.

Gothika has the dark creepy atmosphere, which is maintained throughout the film and a storyline which urges you to feel the frustration of the main characters, played by Halle Berry and Penelope Cruz.

Admittedly it has it?s clichéd moments and it?s not without predictability, but it?s certainly worth watching (in my opinion) if you enjoy supernatural Thrillers.

'Behind Blue Eyes' became one of my favourite songs after watching this film.

A Scanner Darkly (2006,  R)
A Scanner Darkly
Impressive illustrations and the manorisms of the stars were all captured brilliantly, particularly Robert Downey Jr. Love the suit too! Of cours this also is a unique cartooned way of seeming like a regular film, particularly with the topic, something I've only seen before in Anime.

Natural Born Killers (1994,  NC-17)
Natural Born Killers
I've watched this film countless times and I could never get bored of it. As a fan of Woody Harrelson, even I didn't expect him to pull off the character of Mickey Knox as well as he did and Juliette Lewis being cast for the part of Mallory was perfection.

This film has two parts to it, a 'before' they got caught for their killing spree and an 'after' they got caught. It portrayed a very deep connection between the two main characters, that could not be broken, whether together, seperated or facing death.

I love the story that the Shaman tells about the snake.

The Style of the filming is probably something taken for granted now in these style films, but it's still impressive.
5
Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang (2005,  R)
6
Zodiac (2007,  R)
Zodiac
Slightly disappointed by the build up of this film, was hoping it would make the 5 stars. I still enjoyed it though and is a very detailed version of events in comparrison to the last film made about The Zodiac. A great performance by Jake Gyllenhaal and not a bad performance from Robert Downey Jr.

The special features are definitely worth a watch if you want to look at some of the real life characters and facts.

VERDICT: A very interesting account of the story, definitely worth a watch.

U.S. Marshals (1997,  PG-13)
U.S. Marshals
You really need to separate this film from any comparison to The Fugitive to give it a fair chance. What it is, is a very easy watching Action film which flows nicely despite it?s fair share of cheesy Action moments.

In Dreams (1998,  R)
In Dreams
This really was a film of two parts for me, I felt through most of the film the frustration that the character played by Annette Benning was under and thought she did a convincing job. The storyline up until the point when Robert Downey Jr came in was pretty entertaining and unusual, however, I felt the character played by Downey Jr was pretty over exagerated in perfromance and not very believable, so much so this film was heading for 4 stars but took a turn.
9
The Incredible Hulk (2008,  PG-13)
The Incredible Hulk
IBetter second time around, but still feel it was lacking a little umph. This version certainly has some up sides, as there are many details throughout the film which relate to the original series, including a cameo role from the original Hulk. The fight scene was incredibly drawn out and lost my concentration toward the end. Ed Norton though, as always, was an enjoyable watch.
10
Weird Science (1985,  PG-13)
Weird Science
A wonderful teenage underdog story from the 80?s, which holds huge nostalgia value for me, as a young girl, (as reflected in the rating) I watched this films over and over.

Look out for a young Robert Downey Jr.
