I have to say by far the scariest movie I have ever seen. This movie proves you cannot run or hide and that the past catches up with you, there are NO arguments to be had,the facts are the facts the pictures speak for themselves,This should be a do not miss for everyone!

Pan's Labyrinth (El Laberinto del Fauno) (2006,  R)
Pan's Labyrinth (El Laberinto del Fauno) 4.5 Stars
I have such mixed feelings about this movie,Don't get me wrong good story,Amazing visual effects and really excellent sound, that really stood out for some reason.I can see how this little girl would let herself be drawn into this fairy tale world to escape the Hell that surrounded her.But make NO mistake this is not for kids.I was not expecting such utter brutality in a film,The bottle scene with the Captain and the hunters has to be in the top 3 most horrifing things I have ever seen in a movie.I think the Captain got what he deserved,to have his dignity ripped away as he laid dying, and know that his son would never know of his dad's 'honor' and so called great leadership of Spain.Yeah that was a great moment for me.Great movie,I still cry for the fairies though, lol.Check it out!!

Hmmmmm,
Well,Ok I was alllll ready for this hyped up,Cinematical Masterpiece that was going to have me glued to the screen from minute one to minute end? I need to know which film that is cause it surely isn't this one.I am a little pissy that this won so many awards. Before you all get on the hate bandwagon,It WAS good.I just didn't think it was GREAT.Yes,good story,Yes reat cast, all that,no mind blowing special effects,no unbelieveable screw with your mind twist arounds, just a story. It got slow at times,Again,I am sorry for all of those that think this is like the best film since God was a boy,But I seriously disagree. Now that I am almost caught up with seeing all the Oscar contenders,Yeah I just kinda don't get how this ranked so high.I think Atonement was AMAZING!I think Gone Baby Gone was right up there with Atonement.Ok,I feel like I am rambling,Nitty Gritty:Yes its good,Yes you should see it,I just think this was too hyped for me before I saw it,and when a movie is nominated for so much,I am expecting to be either Laughing,Crying, having a heart attack from intense scenes,or jumping outta my chair for an underdog,I just still don't get it.=(

I have been wanting to see this since before it came out.Soooo much better than I thought.I had heard all good things about this movie So my expectations were pretty high to begin with. This movie is Edgy,Raw and REAL.See,I can relate with this movie more than ever,I was Junoonly a little younger,I felt this movie maybe more than alot of people.I loved the cast everything about it really.Only difference is I kepy my child, proudly I have a wonderful 21 year old son to show for it and now a 1 year old beautiful grandaughter .This movie brought back my pregnancy in the 80's being in school, how hard it was,I look back,I really don't know how I did it.Anyway this is a MUST SEE.I hope it wins tons of awards.=)

Wow what a perfect ending to a great Christmas! I have to say first of all I think this has got to be the bloodiest movie I have ever seen.OK,moving on this movie is amazing I didn't know the story at all beforehand so I didn't have any prejudgements going into it.I was treated to a fantastic movie.I expected it to be anyway with Tim Burton and Johnny Depp but this exeeded my expectations.I loved the dark humor and all around it was just a great story and musical.Always an adventure to tag along with Tim Burton.Go see it! =)
