actor: angelina jolie movies

this movie is not as plain as many believe. this is actually one of my favorite action flicks ever made, well thought out with excellent locations and writting, what seems like a simple action flick is more fun than almost any movie i have ever seen.

not as good as the first, but tomb raider is just sweet. there is something about this character and the way that jolie plays her that i cant get enough of. a good follow up to a well made action movie.

incredible spy flick. matt damon is haunting, every performance is top notch. the film requires more than one viewing to soak it all in, but its worth it. deniro does a great job in his debut as a director.

i enjoyed this movie alot. i wouldnt want too many movies made in this way, but much of the animation was beautiful and the actors performing behind the animation were great. the story deviates from the original but in a good way, and the characters were complex with depth and realism. the only part of this film that i didnt care for was the design of the monster grendel. ive seen other versions of this story on film that had better designs, but this film explored the characters better than past versions.

excellent, denzel and jolie were good together

this movie obviously piggybacked off of nemo's success, which made me not want to like it, but it was a darn good film. i enjoyed it alot, even more than my 2 and a half year old that got bored about half way through. worth watching.

very entertaining flick, one of cusack's best

i am really torn on how much i actually liked this film. 3 is a low score and i wouldnt go higher than 4, but i will have to watch it again to really decide. the training sequence felt rushed and disheveled and the language was so out of hand that it just got annoying, but the actors did the best they could with this type of film and the action sequences were a lot of fun. usually unrealistic action scenes tick me off, but i can enjoy them when the entire premise of a film is to be over the top as with films like matrix or comic book films. as a comic film itself, this worked on many levels but i left the film still feeling like it fell a bit flat.

usually i hate movies that go too far over the top. this movie went way over the top on at least a few occasions but i still really enjoyed this movie. it was charming, combining action and comedy and pitt and jolie had great chemistry. there were flaws in the thinking and execution of the movie, but it was fun to watch.

i love angelina, but this flick was corny

this was a decent film. it definitely did a great job of showing modern pakistan and the turmoil cased by terrorism. the film was really slow and shifty and nothing was emphasized, in one way it was good because you felt like you were watching real life, in another way it made the story a little hard to follow. not great but worth watching.

this was one of the films that helped put jolie on the map. she was great because she always is, and the story had slight moments where it was interesting, but ultimately it wasnt that good. a little smutty so to speak.

angelina jolie was excellent and the soundtrack was solid, but everything else about this film was terrible. it was trashy, oddly directed, and incredibly boring. not worth the watch.

an early film for angelina jolie and peter facinelli. jolie showed glimpses of her future greatness, which was the only reason this film doesnt drop to a half a star. this movie was absolutely terrible. there was nothing redeeming about it at all. it would have made a better slasher flick. some zombie should have shown up and killed some of the silly girls in this, then it might have been a 1 1/2 star movie.
