I feel that in many ways dicaprio is the best actor currently in hollywood. every performance he turns in is believable and even powerful. here is the list of the films of his i have seen in order of favorites.

1
Blood Diamond (2006,  R)
Blood Diamond
an amazing film, one of my true favorites of all time. the performances were unmatched and the story was profound, a beautiful movie.
2
The Departed (2006,  R)
The Departed
best scorcese film ever. unbelievable. youre enthraled through the entire story. dicaprio is already one of my favorites, but this is one of his best performances, he was brillliant. damons performance is overlooked and the end is shocking and suprising, even disturbing really. i havent stopped thinking about this film since i watched it, nearly perfect.
3
Revolutionary Road (2008,  R)
Revolutionary Road
a parable of the human condition, this film is profound because it is a resounding warning shot against the motivations of its characters rather than a glorification or empty telling of their feelings about life. the film does well to give its audience the understanding that both characters are incredibly wrong about most everything they say. the film portrays the reality of what most people go through as they wallow through life trying to find meaning, purpose, and value in every place except for the one place that they can truly find it. dicaprio's character is selfish, but in the end loving and hopeful that things can change. winslet's character is the darkest form of subtle evil and much worse than only selfish. as far as the film outside of the script, everything was done very well. the acting was perfect but lopsided in that the first hour belonged to winslet and she outshined everyone else, but in the second hour she fades a bit as dicaprio takes over the entire film with a stunning performance. michael shannon also turns in an amazing performance. the cinematography and art direction were also great, the musical score was a little too similar to one of mendes' other films but it was still solid, and the directing of the film was great. the film struggles from unlikeable characters and a depressing purpose, but in all else it was near flawless.
4
The Beach (2000,  R)
The Beach
fantastic. leo was great and some of the scenes were shot very well
5
Catch Me If You Can (2002,  PG-13)
Catch Me If You Can
made me want to start conning people
6
Gangs of New York (2002,  R)
Gangs of New York
very well done, the acting was great. there were scenes i wish were done very differently, like the pointless nudity, but this was a great film.
7
Body of Lies (2008,  R)
Body of Lies
this was a very good film, but still disappointing at the same time. lets start with the good. the acting was very solid, and mostly so from the places it was least expected. crowe and dicaprio were fine, but it was the rest of the cast that pulled it out. the action sequences were very good, and in general the story was about what i expected. there were problems however. the film developed complex story lines only to give far too simple explinations to those stories. the plot was a bit typical in too many ways to keep me suprised, and the end was as predictable as it could have been to the detrament of the film. it was very good and i highly recommend it, but it wasnt anything you havent seen a dozen times before. for dicaprio, a solid addition to his career but no where near the quality of his last two films.
8
The Quick and the Dead (1995,  R)
The Quick and the Dead
good flick with a great cast
9
Titanic (1997,  PG-13)
Titanic
clearly one of the most overrated films in history, but there is no denying that the acting across the board was mind blowing. winslet does a great job and dicaprio was a suprise oscar snub. not a bad film, just not worthy of the hype.
