Devdas (2002,  Unrated)
Devdas 5.0 Stars
WOW! The most richly ornate, colourful and glittering movie I have EVER SEEN! AMAZING! The dancing, music, singing and filming are superb. The costume and sets are BEAUTIFUL!! It is a long romantic overdrama with much eye candy. I'm convinced Aishwarya is the most beautiful woman in the world! The overdrama tempts me to make this 41/2 stars but, it also adds to its charm! So passionate! I am amazed at the care for each and every shot taken and the aesthetic richness is like my dreams, so this goes fully 5 stars!

One of the most colourful and lavish movies ever! Sets and Costumes are Intricately and elaborately decorated!! This movie should have won the best costume academy award!!! A dramatic war movie set in an amazing palace and recreated carefully to be like history. Amazingly acted and moving!

A classic film noir! Some excellent design and artistry in filming and setting, a great script with some excellent acting. Welles has a great accent and Hayworth is a bombshell blond.

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001,  PG)
Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham 4.0 Stars
A lot of crying in this over 3 hrs long drama about family, but it is touching and there are some excellent cheesy 90s style scenes. :) The leads are all gorgeous and I couldn't help smiling at some scenes and getting close to tears in others.

The Covenant (2006,  PG-13)
The Covenant 4.0 Stars
While it is a story out of thin air about unrealistic and supported super powers inherant in a few boys of a few local families, and some of the CG is corny ghost-type imagery that is not scary at all, the atmospheric quality of the film and the film angles used were fantastic. The whole film, from the beginning to end is visually stimulating with attractive male and female leads showing some skin as well as great settings for shots and awesomely impressive filmography. The plot may be pushing it a little, but I was kept interested and entertained regardless.
