Here's a couple of older screwball comedies: "The Awful Truth" with Irene Dunne and Carey Grant and "My Man Godfrey" with William Powell and Carole Lombard. They are both very romantic and very funny!

If you end up liking "The Awful Truth" then check out "My Favorite Wife" which reunites Carey Grant and Irene Dunne in another great romantic comedy.
Also check out the original "Goodbye Girl" with Richard Dreyfuss, it's cute and I imagine would be a lot better than the remake.
Oh, and one more: "Barefoot in the Park" with Jane Fonda and Robert Redford. I liked it a lot more than I thought it would! I guess there's a bit of drama but it is also very funny!
