The only Coen brothers film i've seen that doesn't read like propaganda for the police. Also a great comedy. John Goodman is really good in it

not an easy watch but it is a good movie; an alternate look at violence which is glorified in most westerns.

I love it. Most movies are lucky to have one really memorable performance: this has 8. Awesome style. Caustic and hilarious and beautiful and subtle and blatant and romantic and disgusting... it's a wild ride. Great soundtrack is the icing on the cake.
