Be With You (Ima, ai ni yukimasu) (2004,  Unrated)
Be With You (Ima, ai ni yukimasu)
Lovely and warmhearted story but so sad. It is a supernatural story of a dead mother who returns to her husband and sun for a rainy season.

Taiyo no uta (Midnight Sun) (2006,  Unrated)
Taiyo no uta (Midnight Sun)
Very sweet and touching movie about a 16-year-old girl who has an incurable illness which prevents her from going into the sunlight so she goes out at night to sing her songs and play her guitar. She has been watching a boy from her window for days and finally she gets a chance to meet him.

I loved YUI's adorable, soft songs.

"Story:

A girl who can only live at night and a high school student who loves to surf as the sun rises...
The two had nothing in common..."

Kaze no sotogawa, (Out of the Wind) (2007,  Unrated)
Kaze no sotogawa, (Out of the Wind)
Special and strange story of a school girl who asks a stranger who doesn't talk much to become her bodyguard. The movies gets romantic features during the way. This movie is about first love and holding onto a dream and making it happen. Love this movie!
5
Under the Same Moon (Onaji tsuki wo miteiru) (2006,  Unrated)
6
Hachimitsu to Clover (Honey & Clover) (2006,  Unrated)
Hachimitsu to Clover (Honey & Clover)
Basically it's a story about enjoying youth with good friends and falling in love for the first time. There are artistic, interesting and special charachters in this film who can paint or carve wood or some who are still trying to find their talent and dream job. I don't know is my view about this movie correct. It's a warmhearted movie.
7
Dororo (2007,  Unrated)
8
Nana (2005,  Unrated)
Nana
I would have though this movie would be more rough and dramatic and there would be drugs or something else involved because it's about a rock band. They look so punk but they are still so tame. Aio Miyazaki was so cute. The story was quite good but obviously I don't know the manga. Nana's band's rock music wasn't so special. Still I liked this movie. It was surprising to see what will happen.

Hana to Alice (Hana & Alice) (2004,  Unrated)
Hana to Alice (Hana & Alice)
I would have liked it if I was still a teenager. It felt too long. I loved Alice's ballet dance at the end.
10
Ichi ritoru no namida (1 Litre of Tears) (2007,  Unrated)
11
Su-ki-da (2005,  Unrated)
