Great for a low budget movie. It's really fun to watch, but I thought the aliens had a really good reason to attack us, and it didn't seem like the men wanted to listen to them at all like they didn't care if they destroyed the universe.

The Fly (1958,  Unrated)
The Fly 5.0 Stars
This film is a lot better than the '80s version. It focused more on the story between the husband and wife, and how scientists shouldn't meddle with nature, which is the real point of the story.

Not much to see in this movie, so it's not very interesting, but it's not bad either.

Classic science fiction about the end of the world. Not only good special effects for the time, but a great story and characters as well.

Extremely silly, sometimes really funny, but I really wanted to see more of Lugosi's character in the movie. Also, you could really tell that the old lady was really played by a man. For me, the other characters were more interesting that Mother Riley.

Classic '50s monster movie. Nothing really special about this movie at all.

If only the doctor Grant plays were real! His character is how we wish all doctors would be. I really liked the story in this movie, and the characters, and the plot. There's not much wrong with the movie except that a few scenes get boring. There was also a bit of mystery surrounding the characters, which makes you want to keep watching. Overall, I would recommend seeing this movie, it's enjoyable and gives you somethings to think about. Of course, it isn't as bold as it could be, but it is a very good movie.

This was a very inspiring story of how one man can make a big difference and help fight corruption. Great acting from everyone. This is a really good movie.

House On Haunted Hill 3.0 Stars
This movie has a lot of creepy things happening in a haunted house, and there's even a back story for the ghosts, but then they go and explain that it was just the wife and her boyfriend trying to kill her husband and scare people and ordinary stuff like that. If only there were one last scare at the end, this could be a real horror movie, but the end disappoints you.

Les Quatre Cents Coups (The 400 Blows) 4.0 Stars
This is a very realistic film, and the story is pretty universal. The children are good actors in this movie, too. The only part I didn't like was the ending, but there is a film that follows this one when the boys are older, so I can't complain. If you like neo-realism and french cinema, you should check out this movie.
