Batman (1989,  PG-13)
Batman
the summrt of 1989, and this was everywhere, yhe famous logo standing out where ever you went, tim burton did his job well, a dark version of the bat, wityh burtons trademark goth, keaton is exellent as bruce wayne and stil my fav batman, nicholson, over the top but a great performasnce, hec just stole the show, great look capturing the spirits of the comics well, with great set pieces, the sequel is even darker and worth a watch but beware, batman and robin and forever are pretty bad, with none of the spirit and style of this first entry, great danny elfman score too, makes this one of the best summer blockbusters opf al time

Batman: The Movie (1966,  PG)
Batman: The Movie
holy sardine

yep batman reaches 60s television, then this movie spin off, what a concept bring a very dark comic book charactor, and lighten him up, this is superb, very funny, not to be taken serious at all, light hearted fun through and through, here in the film batman and robin take on all main super villians, the joker, riddler, penguin, and of course cat women, as they all work together to conquer gotham and the world, outrages remarks and quirks, had me laughing for ages, superb set pieces, many including, the shark,(bring me the anti shark repellant) a highlight, they dont make them like this anymore

Batman Begins (2005,  PG-13)
Batman Begins
bale is a great batman, and after the almost franchaise destroying batman and robin, batman is reimagined, with great afect, superb looking, and nicely directed by christopher nolan,
4
Batman Returns (1992,  PG-13)
Batman Returns
even darker than the first batman, with tim burton, using his usuall gothic look, to great afect, good villains in catwomen, and a lesser way the penguin, but very creepy, some great set pieces, and the calm before the storm, when it all went wrong as far as im concerned with batman forever
5
The Dark Knight (2008,  PG-13)
The Dark Knight
first the good, all performances are top notch, bale as batman, brings more to the role after batman begins, with a new worry to deal with, ledger as the joker, a great villain, very manic, and bringing new levels, and eckhart as harvey dent, is superb, in what should have been a origin story only. the opening was superb and it looked as if michael mann had stepped into directors chair, with a superb bank heist, superb set pieces throughout, a great batmobile/ batbike chase being highglight, but where lessons were learned after terible 90 sequels, it seems they might be going same way, firstly, as good as vilains are, having 2 spoils things, the joker is great, but we have to leave him especially in 3rd act for two face and vice versa, and it doesent work, it spoiled spiderman 3, and things probely will get worse for 3rd batman, the city is no longer a strong charactor like begins, and i miss that, and some scenes dont belong, the china sequence, and batman on his yaught for example, and maybe a little to much police corruption story going on, oh and gadgets, please stop with the crappy gadgets, hell have nipples next, and racing stripes, all in all a flawed film, throughout but with enough exiting moments throughout, the last 40 odd minutes being biggest casualty, so from my point of view, theres been a little to much praising of the joker due to ledgers death to justify a great film, a single performance does not make a great film,
6
Batman Forever (1995,  PG-13)
7
Batman & Robin (1997,  PG-13)
Batman & Robin
possibly not just one of the worst films sequels of all time, but possibly worst film off all time, a musfire on every level, clooney bad as bruce wayne/batman, although hes come out pretty well unscathed, and in urma thurman, and schwarzenegger, really crap villains, (your not taking me to the cooler) indeed, and alicia sylverstone as batgirl, what the hell, AVOID
