Saboteur
A fantastic thriller from Hitchcock that has become one of its truly forgotten gems. Very recommendable: the master of suspense never disappoints. Good performances by Priscilla Lane and Robert Cummings.

The Man Who Knew Too Much
And Hitchcock again. Performances, cast, plot, suspense, direction and settings are all spectacular. Another great film by the master of suspense.

The Wrong Man (1957,  Unrated)
The Wrong Man
The Wrong Man immediately proves two strong arguments. The first one is that Hitchcock is the ultimate and definitive master of suspense. The second one is that he is capable of adapting a true story into a top-notch thriller without being insulting, despite the cheesy introduction he gave during the opening minutes. Henry Fonda was absolutely outstanding for such a role, and the calibre of this film will be long kept alive.

80/100

Vertigo (1958,  PG)
Vertigo
Hitchcock strikes again, big time! Suspenseful, romantic, thrilling: an excellently written piece of art.

The Birds
Hitchcock scores again in full color. Extraordinarily developed, and an unforgettable ending sequence.

Frenzy (1972,  R)
Frenzy
Frenzy is different Hitchcock, but it is basically more of a formulaic thriller rather than one of Hitchcock's memorable giants. The screenplay, however, has talent, the character development is decent and the conclusion was smarter than I thought it would be.

Family Plot (1976,  PG)
