Field of Dreams (1989, PG)
This is a very interesting movie. About a farmer who keeps hearing voices from his corn field to build a baseball field. Once he does then ghost of baseball players come to play once more. The film stars Kevin Costner. He gives a decent performance. With a decent story and supporting cast made for a entertaining film. Well worth a watch. |

Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992, PG-13)
The movie that help spawn the cult television show. Stars Kristy Swanson, Luke Perry and Doanld Sutherland. Now I prefered the television show but this was a solid stand alone film. Kristy Swanson is great as Buffy and Donald Sutherland was a good casting choice as her teacher about vampires. The film is quite funny and is full of action and corny lines. Worth a watch if you enjoyed the television show or want to see a comedy about vampires. |

School Ties (1992, PG-13)
This is a good film. Has a great young cast of big name stars before they were well known. Your typical story of someone different then the rest of the norm and trying to fit in due to their race or religion. Also a story of boys learning what it takes to be a man. Brendan Fraser is excellent in this. So is the rest of the cast. A film worth watching. |

Dazed and Confused (1993, R)
This is one of those films that reminds me of my high school days. Except for the paddle spanking. I never had that during my days of school. With a great talented young cast you see many in this film before they became big name stars. A great simple story of high school and hanging with friends. The films has a awesome soundtrack to a great look of the 70's clothes and style. One of those films that you could easily relate to the characters. Just a great film. |

Mallrats (1995, R)
My favorite film by director Kevin Smith. Brodie is my hero. This movie is very funny. It has crude humour but is done well. This movie has many classic lines and scenes. Jay and Silent Bob shine in this film. A great young cast. Plus Stan "The Man" Lee makes a cameo. I never get bored watching this film. Always get a good laugh. One of my favorite comedies. |

Chasing Amy (1997, R)
A classic by Kevin Smith. The Jason Lee character Spanky is my favorite in this. Very funny and great cast. The film had a great blend of story with humor, romance and drama. Ben Affleck Jason Lee and Joey Lauren Adams all give great performances. This film makes references to the previous films Clerks and Mallrats. So if you have not seen them give them a check out as well. Overall this is worth a watch. |

Good Will Hunting (1997, R)
A break out performance for actor Matt Damon.A great story showing a young but brilliant man not living up to his potential. Untill he meets Robun Williams character. The film is also about friendship and love. The film has a great cast. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck wrote a great story. With a great story and cast makes this a must see film. So how do you like them apples! |

Forces of Nature (1999, PG-13)
This film is better than I expected. Ben Affleck and Sandra Bullock actually have good chemistry in this film. Basically about a man on his way to his wedding and suffers a set back when his plane flight can't make it to his destination. He meets a women on his travels and they both spilt the way. Of course he begins to fall for this women and has doubts of his soon to be marriage. A solid romance film that does not have a typical ending. Worth a one time watch. |

Dogma (1999, R) |

Boiler Room (2000, R)
This turned out to be a great film. The story is about a young man who gets a job selling investments to people over the phone. Little does he know that he is helping to run a scam. The story is great with a good group of characters. The film has a great cast starring Giovanni Ribisi, Ben Affleck, Vin Diesel and Nia Long. This is a film well worth checking out. |

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001, R)
If your a fan of Kevin Smith movies then this is a must see. A very funny film. Takes the two characters Jay and Silent Bob from the other Kevin Smith movies and makes them the stars of the film. I personally am a fan of these characters and the other films. They touch base of previous films with also some other characters from those films as well. The film has tons of cameos. The humour is crude but done very well. I always get a great laugh watching this film. |

Daredevil (2003, PG-13)
Better than I thought it would be. I enjoy the movie more each time I watch it. Ben Affleck was great as Daredevil. This film got mixed reviews. I thought they did a good job on it. Very close to the comic. My only complaint was that Michael Clarke did not play a good Kingpin. They could have got someone better. Colin Farrell though was a great casting of Bullseye. Kept this killer insane as he is in the comics. Plus some great visuals and fight scenes made the Daredevil world come alive like the comics. Overall I thought this turned out to be a decent adaptation to a great comic. |

Gigli (2003, R) |
|
| 29 |
Paycheck (2003, PG-13)
This turned out to be a decent action Sci-fi film. Dealing with memory loss, hi-tech software and secrets. John Woo delivers his usual action sequences and film images throughout the film. Ben Affleck and Aaron Eckhart are both very good in their roles. I didn't really care for Uma Thurman as the love interest. She was the one cast member who seemed out of place in the film. Overall a thrilling action pack adventure that was entertaining. |

Surviving Christmas (2004, PG-13) |

Man About Town (2006, R) |

Clerks II (2006, R)
This was a funny movie. Crude but funny. I'm a big fan of the original and this was a good sequel. Well worth a watch if you like Kevin Smith movies. Dante and Randal are both two great funny characters. A few cameos in this film. Kevin Smith is very good in his dialogue for this film as usual. May not be a comedy for all. I would suggest watching the original film and maybe some others like Mallrats, Dogma or Chasing Amy before watching this film. |
