Meet The Fockers
Almost as good as the first one. Ben Stiller carried the movie. Some places fell short, but there was enough funny moments to make this movie enjoyable.

Yeah this movie was pretty funny people. It has an all-star cast. How can you mess up! Ben Stiller directed, wrote, produced and stared in this halrious journey.Robert Downey Jr, stole every scene he was in. Words cant describe how funny he was! This is a movie that should not be missed.

Kirk Lazarus: Everybody knows you never go full retard.
Tugg Speedman: What do you mean?
Kirk Lazarus: Check it out. Dustin Hoffman, 'Rain Man,' look retarded, act retarded, not retarded. Counted toothpicks, cheated cards. Autistic, sho'. Not retarded. You know Tom Hanks, 'Forrest Gump.' Slow, yes. Retarded, maybe. Braces on his legs. But he charmed the pants off Nixon and won a ping-pong competition. That ain't retarded. Peter Sellers, "Being There." Infantile, yes. Retarded, no. You went full retard, man. Never go full retard. You don't buy that? Ask Sean Penn, 2001, "I Am Sam." Remember? Went full retard, went home empty handed...

I loved Ben Stiller as White Goodman, lol

Meet the Parents (2000,  PG-13)
Meet the Parents
Yes I know this movie can seem a little ridiculous at times,ok REALLY ridiculos.Howver I think that is part of the movie's charm. Like the scene where Greg lits the alter on fire, what are the odds of that happening in real life! But that just goes to show you that whatever can go wrong will go wrong in this movie.
One of my favorite characters in this film is in fact Mr. Jinx. Yes the cat is so halrious, I mean who teaches a cat to use the toliet? There is also the classic moment when Greg hits Debbie(Pam's sister) with the volleyball. That has to got just destroy her wedding for sure. Almost every scene in this movie has got a moment in it that will leave you gasping for air. Classic Ben Stiller and it goes to show you that Robert De Niro can do both drama and comedy.

Flight Attendant: Sir, we have a policy on this airline that if a bag is this large we take...
Greg Focker: okay you know what, take you scrubby little paws *off* my bag, okay? It's not like I have a bomb in here. It's not like I wanna blow up the plane. I just want to store my bag according to your safety regulations.
Flight Attendant: Sir, sir!
Greg Focker: Hey, hey, If you would take a second, take the little sticks out of your head, clean out your ears, and maybe you would see that I'm a person who has feelings, and all I have to do is do what I wanna do and all I want to do is hold on to my bag and not listen to you! And the only way that I would ever let go of my bag would be if you came over here right now and tried to pry it from my dead, lifeless fingers, okay? If you can get it from my kung-fu grip then you can come and have it, okay? Otherwise, step off, bitch.

Norm: I got a plane full of people saying you threatened that stewardess.
Greg Focker: I was not threatening her. I was just trying to get my bag into the overhead storage thing...
Norm: You were acting like a maniac and you threatened her with a bomb.
Greg Focker: No, I said I didn't have a bomb.
Norm: But you said bomb.
Greg Focker: I said, "It's not like I have a bomb".
Norm: You said "Bomb" on an airplane.
Greg Focker: What's wrong with saying 'Bomb' on an airplane?
Norm: You can't say 'Bomb' on an airplane!
Greg Focker: Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb. You gonna arrest me? Bomb bomb bomb bomb! During the war I was a BOMBadier!
Norm: You assaulted an airline employee and I oughta put you away for years!

This is one of my biggest guilty pleasure movies EVER! Most people tend to think this movie is lame and too dark, just flat out unfunny. I however apperciated the sense of humor. Jack Black and Ben Stiller are great together in this comedy about two middle aged men who work at a sand paper factory. One day Jack Blacks character comes up with the idea to make a spary that makes animal poop disapear into thin air. He invites Ben Stillers character on the idea, but he turns down the offer. A mistake he would sorely regret! Black's character becomes a flithy rich. Stiller's character has to live next to this guy,in his shadow 24/7! Wow that was a chore,he soon became envous over his former freind. He goes nuts and loses his job. One things lead to another and his character gets drunk and kills Black's hourse. Unsure of what to do he goes to the bum for help. Want more? What the movie...
This movie was funny from start to finish! I loved Christopher Walken's character in this movie. The plot is super silly, but I wouldnt have it any other way..

Flirting With Disaster (1996,  R)

Zero Effect (1997,  R)

Permanent Midnight (1998,  R)
Permanent Midnight
Unlike a movie Ben Stiller has ever been in.He is of course best known for his stupid humor style of comedy.Permanent Midnight brillantly showcases his more serious/darker side.He plays a heroin who writes comedy,go figure..
Being a drug movie it wasnt all that dark. Sure certain scenes where like when he shoots up in front of his infant daughter. However the scene when he's tripping on drugs, pitching his ideas to his boss at work, well lets just say I was having a hard time not pissing my pants, haha

There were certain scenes that stuck out to me. The sex scene with the German, the way it was shot...loved it. Its diffucult to discribe its power( they were intoxicated with heroin while they were screwing. For an independent film there are alot of well known faces. Of course at the time they were fairlly unknown. Owen Wilson plays Stiller's drug friend,we get the beatifull Brit Eilzabeth Hurley, and one of favortie blondes Maria Bello ;)

I recommend this film too anyone that thinks Stiller is a one-track actor. He might surprise you with this....
