Best films of 2009
I know The Escapist and The Baader Meinhof complex both came out last year, but they were released this year in America.

Star Trek (2009, PG-13)
SEE THIS NOW! Even if you are not familiar with the series or do not like the series, this movie is amazing on it's own. The series really needed a reboot after Nemesis, and boy did it get one. Eric Bana gave an intense performance as Nero, who is arguably my favorite villian in the entire series. The opening scene was one of the most emotional scenes I have seen in a long time. This is now one of my three favorite Star Trek films, alongside The Wrath of Kahn and First Contact. |

I saw I test screening for this and it was AWESOME! Supposedly Apatow wasn't involved in this at all, which is weird because 6 of the cast members have collaborated with him before, some numerous times. It was a great movie, and I highly reccomend everyone to see it when it is released in January of 2009. |
