Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007, R)
The cinematography is sublim, exquisite, just.. WOW! Every scene have it's own beauty and the actors are splendid except for the really annoying story of Joana and the teenage boy who really pissed me off.. HE should have been cut instead of christopher lee :-( Well what didn't work is what I said above, but also the story is relaly predictable and previsible.. But in general the songs are really good and the actors have a good way to interpret them while not being perfect singer. But for the incredible cinematography, this movie needs to be scene all the way! |

It's still Burton and Depp, but it's good. I don,t know much about ed wood, but this is surely the best hommage he could ever hoped for, gaving him all respect he can hoped for. Touching, funny, beautifully done, it's another awesome movie showing and sharing the love of filmaking. |
