The Matrix (1999,  R)
The Matrix
Awesome, excellent story and effects
2
Transformers (2007,  PG-13)
Transformers
Wow the best summer movie Iīve ever seen itīs got everything you would want from a summer movie. I grew up watching Transformers from the original series all the way to Beast Wars and I have to say that the movie captures the essence of the series and itīs easy to understand for those who weren't fans of the tv show. The movie is non stop action all the way through. Optimus Prime is a badass when he fights Bonecrusher and the fight with Megatron is spectacular. I loved that all the Autobots had their own unique personalities, It gave the characters more depth. Of the decepticons Frenzy is the only one you get the chance to know but you'll love what he does in the movie. In all the movie had everything a bit of comedy, action, hot leading lady, and a good story to back it up. The VFX are probably the best that have been created in any movie so far the transformations leave you in awe everytime you see them and you will love watching the interactions between the main character and Bumblebee. A must see for everyone this summer

Definatley a must see, It is visually stunning, the cinemotagraphy will leave you in awe. The fight scenes are some of the best captured on film, the spartans kill with such savagrey and grace at the same time that you get pumped just watching it. You will leave the theater with so much adrenaline you won't know what to do. Everyone will like this film men and women a like, it's a must see and can't miss.
4
El Laberinto del Fauno (Pan's Labyrinth) (2006,  R)
El Laberinto del Fauno (Pan's Labyrinth)
Wow this movie is one of a kind dark and intriguing, it is beautifully directed, excellent acting the villian is one of the best caught on film. I had high expectations going in to see this movie and it did not disapoint refreshingly original, the creatures will leave you in awe in how wierd and original they are. Definetley one of the best films I've ever seen. A must see by everyone.
5
Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991,  R)
Terminator 2: Judgment Day
This was the first R rated movie I ever saw, and to this day is still one of my favorites. It's a movie that doesn't get outdated because it was ahead of it's time in F/X.
6
Equilibrium (2002,  R)
Equilibrium
I saw this film because of curiousity, but it turned out to be one of the best action/Sci-fi films I had ever seen, strong story and an increadible performance by Christian Bale
7
Dark City (1998,  R)
Dark City
Very cool movie
8
Serenity (2005,  PG-13)
Serenity
I was a fan of the sereis, and I was disapointed when it was cancelled because it really was a good and original show, and the trend of good story and originality followed it toward the big screen. It's a fun film and everyone can understand it even if you didn't watch the show.
9
Iron Man (2008,  PG-13)
Iron Man
Belongs along side Batman Begins as one of the best origin stories for a super heroe. Robert Downey Jr. IS IRON MAN. Jon Favereau could not have picked a better cast. The movie is filled with action and some very comedic moments. The movie is for everyone to enjoy even if your not an Iron Man or comic book fan, but if you are a Marvel fan their are plenty of incinuations of things to come all over the film especially after the end credits.
10
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006,  PG-13)
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
The movie is spectacular, state of the art graphics, gripping story, and a suprise at the end that you won't forget
11
The Lost World - Jurassic Park (1997,  PG-13)
12
Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980,  PG)
13
The Fifth Element (1997,  PG-13)
The Fifth Element
You don't get more original than this movie, it has over the top characters, an exciting story, and very good F/X. an instant classic.
14
The Incredible Hulk (2008,  PG-13)
The Incredible Hulk
Marvel has done it again. This is what the first movie should have been. The cast was perfect, the Hulk never looked better. Edward Norton IS BRUCE BANNER. The movie is filled with insinuations of upcoming Marvel characters from the Avengers to future Hulk villains. In all Louis Leterrier created a fast paced action movie that doesn't let up at any moment and is faithful to the true essence of the Hulk.
15
The Chronicles of Riddick (2004,  Unrated)
The Chronicles of Riddick
I think I'm the only person who liked this film. It's a pure science fiction movie. the action and the effects were great, most people forget that this movie is a sequel, not a stand alone movie.
16
Independence Day (1996,  PG-13)
Independence Day
When this movie came out there hadn't been any rescent good inavsion or alien films but this completly blew everyone away with a great cast and story that many have tried to replicate but have not been succesful.
17
Stargate (1994,  PG-13)
18
RoboCop (1987,  R)
RoboCop
I loved this movie, when I was a kid, a true sci-fi classic.

20
The Terminator (1984,  R)
21
Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005,  PG-13)
Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith
Out of the the three new ones it was the best but still Empire Strikes Back is better
22
Final Fantasy VII - Advent Children (2006,  PG-13)
Final Fantasy VII - Advent Children

23

Jurassic Park
For a long time it was my favorite film, couldn't get enough of it.
25
Casshern (2004,  Unrated)
Casshern
Visually Stunning, the story is a bit convoluted but everything makes sense at the end. It has a very strong Anti-War and Tolerance message. The movie looks like an anime in live action, a style of film making note seen in the states.
26
Aliens (1986,  R)
Aliens
It has more action than the first, out of the four films it's my favorite
27
Terminator 3 - Rise of the Machines (2003,  R)
28
Children of Men (2006,  R)
Children of Men
A very good film, the acting and directing is top notch, the only down side is you feel depressed after watching it.
29
The Animatrix (2003,  Unrated)
30
Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977,  PG)
31
Alien (1979,  R)
32
Sunshine (2007,  R)
Sunshine
Finally something different in a sci-fi movie, no aliens just humans vs nature. All the actors give good performances, the effects are great and the story is quite unique just make sure if you see a trailer for it that it is a the teaser because if you see the extended trailer it will ruin most of the movie but not all of it. In all it was good scifi movie that many will enjoy.
