A Nightmare on Elm Street
What can I say that everyone else hasn't? So I'll just say, If you've never seen this film, why are you reading this review instead of watching it right now?

17
A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 - Dream Warriors (1987,  R)
A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 - Dream Warriors
Getting back on track, Wes Craven and Frank Darabont write a much superior sequel than most (definitely better than the 2nd film). Freddy is scary and funny in the right way, the acting is very well done by Miss Langenkamp and the others, although some of their dialogue is pretty dumb at times but, it can be forgiven. The only other real complaint I have is that obviously the film can't surpass the original, and the pacing may be a tad slower at times than some horror fans won't enjoy. Overall, this is one of the best horror sequels I have seen in a while, and I totally recommend for Freddy and Horror fans.
18
Friday the 13th Part 3 (1982,  R)
19
Sleepaway Camp (1983,  R)
20
A Nightmare on Elm Street 4 - The Dream Master (1988,  R)
A Nightmare on Elm Street 4 - The Dream Master
Although never rising above Dream Warriors, The Dream Master still works as a successful sequel. Although the acting is pretty silly and Freddy is starting to lose his dark nature, the enviroment in which he stalks still retains some of that nature (the church at the end is very gothic and I loved it). Renny Harlin made a great Freddy film and its flaws can be easily forgiven with the right mindset.
21
Hatchet (2006,  R)
22
Halloween II (1981,  R)
Halloween II
Good continuation of the first film, but nowhere near as perfect as the first. Michael Myers is more demonic in this one, which I found to work in this one. The atmosphere in the darkened and closed up hospital is a great place for Michael to work in, and gives out lots of tension to the audience.
23
Scream 2 (1997,  R)
24
The Funhouse (Carnival of Terror) (1981,  R)
25
American Psycho (2000,  R)
26
Halloween H2O (1998,  R)
Halloween H2O
Watching this again, I found an enjoyable sequel (which wasn't very hard to accomplish after seeing 5 and 6) and I loved to see Jamie Lee Curtis return to Haddonfield once more. Michael is dark and brooding once again as always and he and Jamie Lee are the main attraction. Which leads to the major complaint of every other character to me seemed like fodder, and it was very hard to sympathize with anyone else except Jamie Lee. Overall, this is the last good sequel in what you would call the 'Original' storyline before we get to the Rob Zombie era, and I recommend to all Halloween and horror fans.
27
Prom Night (1980,  R)
28
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986,  R)
29
Child's Play (1988,  R)
30
Terror Train (1980,  R)
31
Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988,  R)
Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers
The best of the sequels and highly recommended.
32
Happy Birthday to Me (1981,  R)
33
Friday the 13th Part VII - The New Blood (1988,  R)
34
Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984,  R)
35
Madman (1981,  R)
36
My Bloody Valentine 3-D (2009,  R)
My Bloody Valentine 3-D
Above average slasher that's brought to you in blood-splatteringly awesome 3-D!
37
Friday the 13th, Part V - A New Beginning (1985,  R)
38
Child's Play 2 (1990,  R)
39
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003,  R)
40
Halloween (2007,  R)
Halloween
'Halloween' attempts to do what other remakes usually do not: be its own thing. While it seems that everyone did not like that idea, I enjoyed watching Zombie try to show us something different. I will agree however, that once it does get into the 'remake' part of the film, it does slowly fizzle until a cliche ending is produced. All in all however, I did enjoy watching Michael tear up the screen again and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for one of the better in the 'Halloween' series.

Friday the 13th (2009,  R)
42
Friday the 13th Part VIII - Jason Takes Manhattan (1989,  R)

44
Wrong Turn (2003,  R)
45
Wrong Turn 2: Dead End (2007,  Unrated)

May I recommend a low budget indie by Maurice Devereaus called SLASHERS? You have to remember though that it IS low budget, but it's funny and creative and original and has some nice kills in it too.
