Facing the Giants (2006, PG)
I haven't seen to many "Christian" faith based films,But this one is amazing.A truly inspiring story of a High school Football coach on the verge of pretty much losing everything.Very Inspiring, although the actors are not ones you will recognize and it doesn't have the big razzle dazzle Hollywood budget, the story is stand alone,Intense at times and sometimes you will even cry,Excellent football flick,Check this one out!! =) |

Brian's Song (1970, G)
Older movie,However some stories are timeless This is one of them.An amazing friendship formed around the common passion for Football until tragedy strikes and bond grows deeper.I don't want to spoil anything if you have not yet seen this amazing movie. It's a fantastic football movie and a true story,A must see for any fan of Football.=) |

The Express (2008, PG) |

The Wrestler (2008, R) |

The Longshots (2008, PG)
Great football movie! I love football movies almost as much as my obsession with action films. This was another good one I adore the high school based on a true story ones the best I think. It's that whole batting to the death for the Underdog thing I have in my I guess.Anyway great movie great cast and Ice Cube plays a great character as and Uncle trying to turn his life around and teach his niece football and kind of re-live his glory days in the process.Recommending this one if you have not already seen it.=) |

Hi. I wouldn´t consider Finding Forrester a sports movies, although some reference to sports is done. Instead, I will include Escape to victory, a great modern classic about a soccer match in the Second World War. Thank you
