Iron Man (2008,  PG-13)
Iron Man 5.0 Stars
Just got back! What a ride! My youngest said he liked it better than Transformers. This was very cool.I agree with all of you You must see this in the theater if nothing else for the sound.I am such a THX/digital sound geek. But there are parts like when he breaks the sound barrier that you are just not going to get in your living room.Awesome movie start to finish.Robert Downey Jr was amazing as was Gwyneth, and I think I love every role Terrence Howard has ever played.Dam Jeff Bridges plays a great bad guy too.Great stuff here people alot of amazing visual effects to be appreciated here,When he starts getting familiar with the suit for the first time and first flight its like well an Eyegasm.Very cool stuff! 5 stars. Two thumbs up, whatever you want it to be just go see it.In the Theater! =)

The Incredible Hulk (2008,  PG-13)
The Incredible Hulk 4.0 Stars
Ok ,Ok,I have finally made it into the Hulk club.First off lets start with a little honesty.I had 0 interest in seeing this when I found out that Eric Bana wasn't going to be in it.In fact when I heard Norton I laughed,I thought there is just NO comparison.Anyway,Not that the one Eric was in was an Oscar winner or anything but let's face it I think people (Especially with movies) are creatures of habit, and whether the movie is great or just ok we get attached to characters Period. Also people as a general rule are not real conducive to change,so I was against this pretty much 100%.Doomed to fail. Then I started reading right before this came out all the hubbub in the media about Norton defending the movie and so on,I continued with my thought process. Then it was released and all of you start flooding me with these rave reviews that had me at first confused then that took me into the curious mode.Alas here we are.Ok so then,Norton did better than I expected dam sure more than I would have gave him credit for.It was good,Liv Tyler was good,I honestly could do with a little less CGI in these movies, but I guess thats just what we are moving towards so why fight it huh?The Cameos are always cool too.Anyway I am glad I jumped on board and gave it a chance.I still have very muddy feelings though about sequels and the original actors playing that part, unless its something completely inevitable,I don't understand why they opt out sometimes, and I mean all movies. But I hear (and I am learning quick) that in the Superhero movie world that characters looking and sounding and moving Etc.is absolutely crucial to the movie, its a make or break it.You folks don't screw around at ALL!Ok there so I have said what I feel,I definitely would recommend it,and for anyone like me that was very doubtful, give it a chance you will most likely be pleasantly surprised.BTW,I still loved Iron Man better =)

The Dark Knight (2008,  PG-13)
The Dark Knight 5.0 Stars
lol,Like I was ever going to give this anything less than 5 stars. In fact just imagine that I drew another 3 or 4 stars on there,Cause YA its just that dam good.I was ready to be blown away and I got just that.Incredible sound too,I want to marry the THX guy.Anyway The cast is so good,I dont know about Maggie though I just don't dig on her too much, but thats a personal thing nothing to do with the movie. So lets get dirty then,Non stop action,It was over before I knew it,A few people have commented how long it seems and that they thought it should be shorter,Um I wasn't ready for it to be over. The whole ferry scene was really a trip,I didn't expect that, very cool.Heath Ledger was absolutely magical,in fact his magic trick made my tummy do a little flip too,but he IS the joker,I will probably get a lot of shit for this I DON"T CARE!Bring it!!! Not only does Heath Ledger play the Joker he evolved into the joker and I am sorry I think he makes Jack Nicholson's joker look like child's play.He smacked his version right outta the dam park !There just IS no comparison.Dark,demented,FEARLESS.I love every twisted second he was on the screen.I can't explain the exhilration of finally getting to see this after waiting for what seemed like eternity,It seemed like the wait got longer too after Heath passed away. But it's like stepping into the front car of the brand new roller coaster and literally after the DC comics logo flashed and it was beginning I felt myself take a deep breath,I knew I was in for a great ride.I shit you not I was like Christmas for me today.I know there will be other good movies this year,I won't LET anything in my heart or mind surpass this movie.Oh and families on a tight budget,I get it,but hear me out.If you have 1 movie that you can go to all year and see in the theater you want it to be this one,I guarantee it.Anyone who waits for this to come out on DVD ,you are cheating yourself out of the full experience.Nolan is a brilliant ,brilliant man, nothing was left out.Seriously, riveted the entire time, the music, plot, characters, everything was totally ON POINT.Here I am adding my extra stars here.Go see this movie ASAP!!! =)***** and 5 more for Heath *****

Nice list. I wouldn't have put Batman Returns in ANY good movie list, but that's because I absolutely hate what they did to the Penguin. Danny DeVito did a great job the way it was written, but Oswald Cobblepot was NEVER a freak. Criminal mastermind:Yes Freak:No. Sorry, I'm just a comic geek, but thanks for the rant.
