Finding Nemo (2003,  G)
Finding Nemo
"Oh, the human mouth is a disgusting place."

Director: Andrew Stanton
Starring: Albert Brooks, Ellen DeGeneres, Alexander Gould, Willem Dafoe
Running time: 100 minutes
Country: USA

Finding Nemo is without a single doubt one of the funniest and most treasured animated films ever. It is a clever story with hilarious, cute and extremely lovable characters. Finding Nemo is probably the most adult out of all PIXARs so far because it has such hilarious jokes especially with Dory's short-term memory loss. The animated effects inside the water and the sea creatures are almost like Ratatouille and WALL-E effects. It is a very inspiring film as far as Marlin's commitment to achieve his goal which is to find his son Nemo. I love films that are for both kids and adults. Finding Nemo is a really cool animated film. What I mean that it's a cool film is that it has a lot of really hilarious sayings that a teenager would say such as "Dude" and "Sweet". Finding Nemo may not be as famous as Toy Story 1+2 but it is better than both of them. Finding Nemo is the one PIXAR that everybody loves.

I loved all of the different sets of characters in Finding Nemo. They all had two things in common: funny and serious. Marlin is a clown fish who is a single parent after his wife Coral was eaten by a pike. Because of the tragedy and his now open fear of the ocean, he is very overprotective towards his son Nemo up until one day that phobia hits him in the face when Nemo is taken away by deep-sea Australian divers. Marlin takes his adventurous journey to find his son with a fish who has short-term memory loss. Her name is Dory. She is the funniest out of the entire film as well as one of the funniest film characters of all time. She comes out with some really silly things and gets herself and Marlin is really awkward situations such as "speaking Whale", always saying Nemo's name incorrectly and also when she almost suddenly forgets things. Dory is a character that is just too hilarious to ignore or to not laugh at. I love Nemo's personality because he is a very cute character and with such a powerful way of seeing through life at such a young age. He is a very brave little fish because he shows that he isn't really that scared of the ocean like his father is. I loved his close friendship with Gill who is the leader of the group within the Sydney Dentist fish tank. I loved other featured characters such as the three vegetarian sharks Bruce, Anchor and Chum, the fish within tank Gill, Bloat, Peach, Jacques, Bubbles, Deb and Gurgle, turtles Crush and Squirt, pelican Nigel and sting-ray Mr. Ray. If you think about it and see the cast, this film actually has an awesome cast including hilarious American homosexual comedian Ellen DeGeneres as Dory, Oscar winner Geoffrey Rush as Nigel, Willem Dafoe as Gill, director Andrew Stanton as Crush, Allison Janney as Peach and other returning PIXAR actors John Ratzenberger, Brad Garrett and Bob Peterson.

Andrew Stanton surprised a lot of people of how great Finding Nemo really turned out to be and how successful it was with the gross takings. Stanton's direction of Finding Nemo is the most adult PIXAR film so far. I could easily tell that Stanton's work on Finding Nemo was work that really needed thinking through because he probably wanted it to be funny, dramatic and rather tense for adults and for kids. He made it not too kiddish and not too grown-up either which is what I love the most about Finding Nemo. The script was very awesome with such hilarious scenes and with very motivating movements as the film was carrying on. To me, Finding Nemo was written to send people a very important message almost like an alert so to speak to advice parents not to be so overprotective but also to not do almost everything they want.

Finding Nemo was nominated for 4 Academy Awards. It won Best Animated Picture 2003 but was nominated for Best Original Screenplay but lost to Lost In Translation, Best Sound Editing but lost to Master And Commander: The Far Side Of The World and Best Music Original Score but lost to The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King. This film was nominated for a Golden Globe as well: Best Picture Musical/Comedy but lost to Lost In Translation.

Finding Nemo is one of the top films of 2003 as well as one of the top animated films of all time. Finding Nemo is the funniest animated film of all time without a doubt. Finding Nemo is a film that only PIXAR could have created. It is a film that has earned a lot of credit in awards and also with the public as well. Finding Nemo is my second favourite PIXAR after my favourite Ratatouille. Finding Nemo deserves its rightful place on the best of comedy, adventure and animation in the world of cinema. It is a masterpiece that I do watch quite regularly and don't ever get bored of it.

Ratatouille (2007,  G)
Ratatouille
"This is me. I think it's apparent that I need to rethink my life a little bit. What's my problem? First of all, I'm a rat. Which means, life is hard. Second, I have a highly developed sense of taste and smell."

Director: Brad Bird
Starring: Patton Oswalt, Lou Romano, Ian Holm, Jeneane Garofalo
Running time: 111 minutes
Country: USA

Ratatouille is a really magical film that has gone beyond any other animated film that has ever been made. The story is new to all films because I think it is one of the first if not the first film on cooking and food. This film inspired me alot because it helped me choose me possible career option: a critic apart from being a critic in films instead of food. Also, because it was a story about passion and inspiration. The only difference that Ratatouille has with other PIXARs is that it wasn't as funny as all the others. I wasn't expecting it to be hilarious like Finding Nemo, The Incredibles and Toy Story because it is a story of support, friendship, passion and commitment. This is the most personal of all PIXARs so far. It made me feel really good because as I said, it led to my number 1 career choice but also the characters were really lovable and deeply interesting.

What I loved about Remy's character was he is brave, loyal, passionate and friendly. He has almost everything that a good person/thing should have. The only thing that Remy doesn't quite have is the completely loyalty to his rat family and friends. He has a very unlikely friendship with Linguini especially because they are supposed to be enemies. They have a very special friendship because they are both willing to help each other with the cooking and what each one wants from the other. Linguini is a young man who requests a job at Gusteau's restaurant. His mother passed away and gives Linguini a letter to Chef Skinner. As Linguini carries on working he catches Remy cooking food. From then on they become partners and good friends. Lou Romano's voice is perfect for Linguini's character because it is soft and sort of geeky which describes some of Linguini's personality. Chef Skinner is my favourite character in the whole film because he is very mean, bossy and a bully but he is a dwarf which brings some comedy within the character. Ian Holm brings together a very realistic French accent which was very good where all of his words that he said were really good for an American man. Anton Ego is a really good character to me because he is a scary man and is quite terrifying to meet because it is part of his personality. Also, because he is only doing his job but he is very strict and wants precise taste, texture etc of all the foods he tries but unfortunately never seems to get. Anton Ego isn't a villain because he doesn't do any crime at all, he just does his job very powerfully.

Brad Bird's directing was awesome which is one thing that never disappoints me from PIXAR. I heard that the kitchen in Gusteau's restaurant is a real life American kitchen. The script was very original with alot of deep meaning, powerful scenes and exciting moments which was one of the reaons why I think this is one of the best animated films of all time.

The characters really attracted the audience particularly Remy because I was (don't know about other people) always concerned about much of a passion food really is to him and what he would do for it. The story was obviously a made-up story but it is a story that you would like to think about. That is where this film is such an inspiration to me. This is the best animated film that has the best animation as well as the best animated film of all time in my opinion. Ratatouille is the best animated film of 2007 obviously. It is the second most inspiring animated film I've seen after Pinocchio. A truly loving masterpiece that I will always love and is one of my close favourites of all time.

Pinocchio - Walt Disney (1940,  G)
Pinocchio - Walt Disney
"Now, remember, Pinocchio, be a good boy. And always let your conscience be your guide."

Director: Hamilton Luske
Starring: Dickie Jones, Cliff Edwards, Walter Catlett, Charles Judels
Running time: 88 minutes
Country: USA

Pinocchio is one of the single most amazing films that I have ever laid my eyes on in my life. It is a very beautiful, magical, inspiring and very motivating masterpiece that is a classic. It is a classic just like Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs. What I love the most about Pinocchio is that it teaches us about what family really means and what we should all do to keep it together. Pinocchio is such an inspiration to me, it's untrue. It is so beautiful because of the environment the characters are in especially at the beginning inside Geppetto's house where they are all happy and everything. I absolutely love most Disney Classics and I have to say that this is the ultimate Disney Classic in my opinion.

The story starts with how Jiminy Cricket ended up with Pinocchio. He was travelling and he found a warm house with a fire. It was the house of woodcarver Geppetto. Geppetto is a very warm, kind and caring man who always seems to be a real delight around those around him. He lives with his cat Figaro and fish Cleo. We see him build Pinocchio and wish that he was a real boy in front of a wishing star. The Blue Fairy comes along and brings Pinocchio to life but still a wooden boy not a real one. Jiminy becomes Pinocchio's conscience and guide to becoming a real boy. It doesn't go well to plan because Pinocchio is led astray the next morning by Honest John and his sidekick Gideon. That causes a series of turning events that are moving, funny and very serious too.

Pinocchio is my favourite Disney Classic but not my favourite animated film. That goes to Ratatouille. It is the classic of classic animated films. It is the second most inspiring film I've ever seen after Forrest Gump. The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, It's A Wonderful Life, Edward Scissorhands and E.T. are other huge inspirations to me too. God! I love this film to bits!

Lady and the Tramp (1955,  G)
Lady and the Tramp
"That's right, Miss Lady; as my grandpappy, Ol' Reliable used to say... I don't recollect that I've ever mentioned Ol' Reliable before?"

Director: Clyde Geronimi
Starring: Barbara Luddy, Larry Roberts, Bill Thompson, Bill Baucom
Running time: 76 minutes
Country: USA

Awww... what pure magic this brought out to the world. Lady And The Tramp is one of the single most adorable films ever made! Everything about this film couldn't have been better told than it already was. Lady And The Tramp is one of the very few animated films that aren't fantasy films let alone one of the few Disney Classics. There is one scene in this film that just melts my heart every time I see it and that is the "Bella Notte"-spaghetti bolognaise scene in the back of the restaurant. This, The Lion King, Bambi and Beauty And The Beast are the Disney tearjerkers but Pinocchio is for me instead of Bambi.

The story follows a young married couple who are opening Christmas presents. They have a little cocker spaniel who they called Lady. As Lady grows up, she doesn't only see a dog's side of being with owners but also owners with their pets. Lady is taught by her friends Jock (a Jack Russell) and Trusty (a bloodhound) about the ways of humans and how they behave. Lady is a very beautiful character and even though Lady is not human or human-like, I think she is the one female Disney character that shows pure beauty. Tramp is a homeless mutt who never seems to be caught by the dog pound that just wanders free and lives his own life. When Tramp meets Lady, the chemistry between the two becomes romantic but at the same time very personal that goes deeper and deeper into theirs and others lives.

Lady And The Tramp is one of the most heartmelting films that I have ever seen. Lady And The Tramp is my 4th favourite Disney Classic after Pinocchio, Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs and Beauty And The Beast. Lady And The Tramp is a beautiful masterpiece that I wouldn't get bored of it no matter how many times I see it.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937,  G)
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
"Magic mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?"

Director: David Hand
Starring: Adriana Caselotti, Lucille La Verne, Roy Atwell, Otis Harlan
Running time: 83 minutes
Country: USA

Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs truly is one of the greatest and most heartwarming animated films of all time. It is so beautiful because of all of the adorable and powerful characters. There isnt just Snow White and the dwarfs but the Queen, Huntman and Magic Mirror are powerful characters too because they are better to figure out and are characters that take more twists and turns in a film. They are mostly the reasons why I like villain characters than hero ones because they are more powerful characters. This develops all sorts of different characters that have never been mixed into one film before. Especially the seven dwarfs because they all have different personalities and their main personality is their name. There are Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Dopey and Sneezy. This film probably taught other filmmakers how to mix different sorts of characters together in a film. It was beautiful and inspiring not only because of the characters but because of the beautiful songs and the beautiful storyline of the film in general. It really made me feel great because there were some scenes that were just adorable and were just so peaceful to watch you could just cry.

The direction was really good and was really well written too. Every scene adapted really well. I remember when I was a little kid watching this film on video/VHS and there was a special feature of how they made the film including comments from Walt Disney. There was a scene that was really good but wasnt really essential to the story. There is another song that is sung during the meal of the dwarfs and Snow White. That would have been an inappropriate scene to add to the film even though I enjoyed the scene a lot.

This film is obviously different compared to the films at the present time now because there wasnt any media technology in the 1930s. Also, of how they filmed it back then was still really clever because it wasnt on any computer like it is now. It was back then simple drawings that people flipped and made into a moving clip. It was really clever how they made it onto camera. All animated films and films featuring animation were all done this way up until Beauty And The Beast in 1991. Other films like Aladdin, The Lion King, Pocahontas, The Hunchback Of Notre Dame, Hercules, Mulan and Tarzan were done like Beauty And The Beast with half sketches and half computers. I have always been inspired by this. Disney films like this, Pinocchio, Fantasia, Dumbo and Bambi all came at good times because of the entertainment of a dark time in the world with WWII going on. There have been some later Disney films that have been quite similar to Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs. The 2007 film Enchanted sort of rips off a few things from this film but it is a good rip off though. For example, Sleeping Beauty.

The chemistry between Snow White and the seven dwarfs were all very different because all seven dwarfs have completely different personalities. I would say that the funniest is probably Dopey because he wanted a kiss on the lips from a beautiful girl like Snow White and only got it on the head. Also, he acts like a bit of a complete idiot when he is around her too. I thought her relationship with Bashful was funny because Bashful had a light crush on Snow White and was very shy around her. He was too shy to even look at her let alone speak to her. I liked her relationship with Doc too because she was helping Doc lead the seven dwarfs (including himself) by teaching Doc a few lessons of how to appear in life. But my favourite one and the one that is the most noticed is the relationship between Snow White and Grumpy because Grumpy like her because of his stubborness and doesnt really like that many women and he sort of feels threatened by her. It is only until the end of the film where Grumpy truly realises what Snow Whites true intentions were. Their relationship is a very personal one that starts out as a clash of personality and a rivalry but up until the Queen comes into it with the apples that all changes. I dont think we ever saw the relationship between the Queen (not in disguise) and Snow White because they dont appear in any scenes together other than when the Queen is a beggar woman. I could easily tell how much the Queen hated Snow White because of her beauty. The Queen is beautiful too but not as much as Snow White so she becomes jealous and takes drastic turns and threatening events for Snow White.

The twist in my opinion was when Snow White discovered the Queens real jealousy of her and when the Huntsman told her to run away. That leads up to her meeting with the seven dwarfs.

This film had absolutely awesome music in which all Disney films have. It had awesome visual effects for a film that is the first ever animated feature film ever to be filmed before. It has that delightful feeling that you could just cry.

Walt Disney won an Honorary Academy Award. Walt earned seven little Oscars on one statue. This film was a nomination for Best Music Score but lost to One Hundred Men And A Girl.

This film is my second favourite Walt Disney Classic because I simply loved the clever animation and also because of the adorable characters and the pwoerful story which is why Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs and Pinocchio are my favourite Disney films. So basically the first two Disney films are the best ones for me. Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs is one of my all time favourite animated films and is also one of my all time favourite films too. This film became the start of masterpieces from the great and late Walt Disney. This was the start of a legend that changed not only the world of film but also the whole world because nearly everybody loves Disney. He is still a legend at the present time even though he died over 40 years ago. Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs truly is a masterpiece of animation. Always has been and always will be!

Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005,  G)
Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit
"Mmmm lovely food... for rabbits that is."

Director: Nick Park
Starring: Peter Sallis, Ralph Fiennes, Helena Bonham Carter, Peter Kay
Running time: 85 minutes
Country: UK

Ever since I was a little child, I have always been a fan and have admired the Wallace And Gromit shorts. I was unsure about them making a Wallace And Gromit film but now after seeing this film at the cinema when I was 14, I was ever so glad that they did make this film. Wallace And Gromit In The Curse Of The Were-Rabbit and Finding Nemo are in my opinion the cleverest animated films of all time that have the coolest and funniest jokes in them. I laughed at every single second of this film! Curse Of The Were-Rabbit is another reason why I love Wallace And Gromit.

There wasn't one thing in this film that didn't have no original taste at all. It was the same old Wallace and Gromit that we knew in the three shorts. Wallace and Gromit don't only live together but they work together as well. The neighbourhood are having rabbit problems due to a Giant Vegetable Competition coming up. They are called "Anti-Pesto" who try and stop rabbits ravaging at the vegetables before the competion. After Wallace's new and latest invention that he tries to join together to brainwash the rabbits minds against vegetables so that they wouldn't no longer eat vegetables goes wrong that changes the course of the film. This film has a few awesome British actors who have made a name for themselves in the past but have once again in this masterpiece! Peter Sallis' voice has always been literally perfect for Wallace. Ralph Fiennes provides the voice of Wallace's enemy Victor Quartermaine. Victor is a hunter who is obsessed with what he does. He is trying to lure himself into Lady Tottington's good books so he can marry her and take her fortune. Basically, wants to marry her because she is rich. Victor starts to become jealous when he notices Wallace getting into a personal relationship with her. Victor has a dog called Phillip who is Gromit's enemy. Victor always calls himself a tough guy but really he is an absolute idiot! Helena Bonham Carter provides the voice of Lady Companula Tottington. She lives at Tottington Hall which is where the Giant Vegetable Competition is due to take place. She is Wallace's love interest. Peter Kay, Nicholas Smith and Liz Smith give out hilarious voices as other characters in this film.

Nick Park did an absolutely fabulous job with this film because he made the plot of this film very childish but very adult at the same time because it did become quite scary. Despite how scary it would be for kids, the constant comedy within the film helped it carry on brilliantly! I have always been inspired by Nick Park because of his creative art not only to animation but also to childrens programmes. His work on Chicken Run was awesome as well even though that was a bit of a spoof of the classic film The Great Escape. The script was absolutely brilliant!! There was obviously very childish quotes but it flowed well with the film and it is something that I think most adults appreciated. The script of the film that features the jokes in this film was absolutely brilliant!

Wallace And Gromit In The Curse Of The Were-Rabbit is the cleverest animated film of all time. It is the best animated film of 2005 and that is a fact! I love Chicken Run but I love this film more in every way! Wallace And Gromit In The Curse Of The Were-Rabbit is one of my very close favourite animated films as well as one of the best films of 2005. In my opinion, this is a landmark of animation alongside Toy Story, Spirited Away, Finding Nemo and The Lion King and it totally deserves to be!

The Lion King (1994,  G)
The Lion King
"Remember who you are. You are my son, and the one true king. Remember..."

Director: Roger Allers & Rob Minkoff
Starring: Matthew Broderick, Jeremy Irons, James Earl Jones, Nathan Lane
Running time: 90 minutes
Country: USA

I dont really know how to explain how much I loved this film. Well, I can say that this film is such an inspiration to me and makes me feel really great. It is a film with a great big heart. It is a very heartbreaking film but it is such a beautiful story that can inspire people in quite a few different ways. It is the most emotional film of all the Disney Classics that there have been which is one of the main reasons why I have to say that this film is one of the best animated films out there. It is a pure adventure about courage, hope, betrayal, tragedy and most importantly self discovery. I would probably say that this is the only Disney Classic with the genre drama used in it because of what happens and everything. I think everything about it inspires me an hell of a lot. I feel that this is one of the particular four films that Walt Disney would have been proud of if he was still here. Others are The Little Mermaid, Beauty And The Beast and Aladdin.

The voices were all fantastic in this film. I didnt really like Matthew Brodericks voice for Simba (adult) because he doesnt really make Simba a very heroic character because of his soft voice but Simba is still a heroic character though because he truly discovers about who he really is. I loved James Earl Jones voice as Mufasa because after doing the voice of legendary character Darth Vader, his voice was prefect for Mufasa. His voice is obviously extremely deep which is really rare for a man to have a voice that deep. It is perfect for Mufasa because Mufasa is a big heroic lion and looks a lot bigger compared to other animals within the kingdom. His voice was a bizarre one really for Mufasa because not only is Mufasa a hero and Darth Vader is a villain but because Mufasa is a completely different character compared to Darth Vader. I loved Jeremy Irons voice as Scar in this one because his voice is a real sinister and scheming voice which is just like Scars character. I think that Scar isnt just the coldest Disney villain but I also think that he is one of the greatest film villains of all time because he killed his own brother and then blamed his nephew for it. I really liked the voices of Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Niketa Calame, Moira Kelly, Nathan Lane, Ernie Sabella, Rowan Atkinson, Madge Sinclair, Robert Guillaume, Whoopi Goldberg, Cheech Marin and Jim Cummings as the voices of the rest of the cast within this animated classic.

The direction from Rob Minkoff was awesome which makes The Lion King was like an epic animated film which is probably the first of all animated films that have been made. The script was outstanding too with a lot of quotes with big meanings and with a big heart as I have said. There are a lot of scenes within this film that are taken almost to complete perfection.

The Lion King has its rightful place on my all time favourite animated films list. It is on my favourite films list to. There's no question about that. It is one of the best animated musicals of all time. It is one of the best films of 1994. 1994 was an outstanding year for films as it brought out some of the greatest films of all time including The Lion King, Forrest Gump, Pulp Fiction, The Shawshank Redemption, Léon: The Professional and many more. I always have and certainly always will adore the Disney Classics but The Lion King is my fifth favourite Disney Classic after Pinocchio, Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs, Aladdin and Lady And The Tramp. The Lion King is the third highest grossing film of all time (both worldwide and domestically) behind Shrek 2 and Finding Nemo. It truly is a family phenomenon that I can guarentee that everybody loves to bits and will remain in your heart for the rest of your life.

Shrek (2001,  PG)
Shrek
"We can stay up late, swapping manly stories, and in the morning, I'm making waffles!"

Director: Andrew Adamson
Starring: Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, John Lithgow
Running time: 91 minutes
Country: USA, Canada

This film truly is a feel good film because of its beautiful story and hilarious characters. This film made me feel really good because I love the Shrek character because he is quite a mean ogre on the outside but when you get to know Shrek, he is like a really good friend. His character is really powerful. It has a story that is quite odd but it combines together really well as it goes on and it turns into a family classic. This film had that typical family style that some animated films dont have. For example, it has quite crude humour which makes young kids understand what they mean. Shrek truly has loving characters that arent just for kids but are for adults too. They are all emotional characters aswell as absolutely hilarious ones. I love the scene where Shrek and Donkey confront Lord Farquaad about the swamp. When there was a wrestling tournament, Shrek and Donkey sort of take the mick out of professional wrestlers like Hulk Hogan, Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam and Chris Masters but obviously in an absolutely hilarious way though of course. This film was quite thrilling as well because of when Shrek and Donkey were in the castle where they had to go and rescue Fiona from the dragon. It was tense how they got in and how they made their escape. In that scene, I thought the scene involving Donkey and the dragon was tense because the dragon is a lot bigger than Donkey. I had a feeling that the dragon was taking Donkey to eat him but it doesnt. I think the dragon falls for Donkey. It can be such an inspiration to thousands of people in this world and I am certainly one of those people.

Mike Myers delivers an absolutely awesome voice acting performance as Shrek. Mikes voice is simply perfect for Shrek because the type of character that Shrek is fits perfectly with Mike Myers Scottish accent. The voice that Mike uses in Shrek is the exact same voice as Fat Bastard in the Austin Powers trilogy. His voice as Shrek is both hilarious and heartwarming too which makes Shrek one of the most friendly and lovely characters that has ever been put to the screen. Eddie Murphys voice as Donkey is absolutely awesome too. Murphy has that sort of croaking and typical American accent which unusually fits absolutely perfectly for Donkey. His acting was superb. Cameron Diaz was good as Princess Fiona. I wish that there was a better actress for the voice of Fiona. She was still good though. I liked John Lithgow too as Lord Farquaad even though there werent that many scenes involving Farquaad. All four speak very differently. Not because of different actors but because they all try different sorts of accents.

The directional debut of Andrew Adamson was absolutely outstanding. He directed this film really well. He has done four really good films as director so far. Others like Shrek 2, The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion And The Wardrobe and The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian. The written screenplay in Shrek was absolutely outstanding. It was really clever and all of the lines in the certain scenes were absolutely perfect indeed.

This film along with Toy Story and Spirited Away set a whole new level of animation because they are very different and unusual and sometimes teaches us all about things in life. This film is my favourite Andrew Adamson film. For me, he has not done one bad film yet. This one is the best of the trilogy. The second one is awesome too but the third one is crap. I was extremely disappointed in Shrek The Third because of its lame story. This film didnt disappoint me at all. This film has become one of my favourite animated films of all time. It is one of the most pleasureable, inspiring and most delightful family films of all time. Shrek is a masterpiece of animation and deserves its rightful place there.

Toy Story 2 (1999,  G)
Toy Story 2
"You never forget kids like Emily, or Andy, but they forget you."

Director: John Lasseter
Starring: Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Kelsey Grammar
Running time: 92 minutes
Country: USA

Toy Story 2 is another sequel that I would call one of the best sequels of all time because it follows up from the previous film ever so well and it doesn't flaw at all. This film is hilarious, original, emotional and very thrilling in some moments because of the action scenes within it. It rips off some moments of other previous movie moments most notably The Empire Strikes Back. I loved every single second of this masterpiece. This one may not be as famous as the first film but personally I think this one is better. The first is a classic but this is a follow-up of a classic. Both Toy Story and Toy Story 2 are top childhood favourites of mine that I would always watch and used to be literally obsessed with as a kid especially Buzz Lightyear. It is one of the cleverest and very well thought up films ever made. I am a big PIXAR fan and both Toy Story films have introduced the modern day PIXAR films nowadays that they cannot disappoint in any way at all. I think the main reason why I preferred the second one to the first was because I was more interested in the plot of the second film more than the first and I liked the characters more as well. Toy Story 2 is the best animated sequel of all time and I am proud to call it that. Most animated sequels except Toy Story 2 have been totally flawed and have been weaker stories and ridiculous characters. The only animated sequels I can think of that are almost as good as or better than the first films are Toy Story 2, Shrek 2 and The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride. What I loved the most about Toy Story 2 is that they brought back the old characters again such as Woody, Buzz, Rex, Bo Peep, Mr Potato Head, Hamm, Slinky Dog etc but have brought more toys into the film and have made them very interesting and humorous for both kids and adults. They brought characters such as Jessie, Stinky Pete The Old Prospector, Bullseye and the Barbie dolls. They are all now real life toys which makes both films eve more famous than they already are.

Tom Hanks' voice acting of Woody is amazing once again. He is the only actor to portray the voice of Woody. Without Tom Hanks there would be no Woody. Instead of Buzz ending up in trouble like he was in the first film, this time it's Woody. Woody tries to save a friend from being sold in a yard sale but inadvertently gets himself into the hands of money-greedy, fat Al who owns the toy shop Al's Toy Barn. Once at Al's flat he meets Jessie, Stinky Pete and Bullseye who reveal themselves as Woody's Roundup Gang and say that all four of them are part of a phenomenal former television show. Buzz ends up rescuing Woody instead of Woody rescuing Buzz because of this. His accomplices to complete his mission are Rex, Slinky Dog, Hamm and Mr. Potato Head. They end up getting into situations that are hard for them to get out of.

The directing in this film was awesome from John Lasseter. He has created two family phenomenons that came out of his own head and he is now a genius. His work in the two Toy Story films and A Bug's Lief are awesome but his work in Cars was good but nowhere near as good as his other works. Lasseter has created one of the best sequels ever as well as the best animated sequel too. It is an ingenious film that I could watch often. I used to watch this a lot as a kid and I still do now. The script is absolutely amazing. It is original with a very clever meaning to it and it takes a genius to create masterful scripts in an animated film.

Toy Story 2 is my third favourite PIXAR film to date after Ratatouille and Finding Nemo. Toy Story 2 is a better film than the first one for the reasons I have stated in my review. Both Toy Story films are films that Tom Hanks will always be remembered for as well as Forrest Gump, Green Mile, Saving Private Ryan and Cast Away. Toy Story and Toy Story 2 were one of my all-time favourite childhood films of all time. Toy Story 2 is one of my top animated films of all time as well. Toy Story 2 is a clever masterpiece that I have watched a lot and could always watch!!

Beauty and the Beast (1991,  G)
Beauty and the Beast
"Ma chère mademoiselle. It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you tonight. And now, we invite to relax, let us pull up a chair, as the dining room proudly presents... your dinner."

Director: Gary Trousdale & Kirk Wise
Starring: Paige O'Hara, Robby Benson, Richard White, Jerry Orbach
Running time: 84 minutes
Country: USA

This is an ultimate treasure of Walt Disney that has touched and both melted and broken people's hearts. Beauty And The Beast is another remake of a film that is probably better than it's original. The only difference is that this one is animated. It is a story that is just too beautiful to watch. Beauty And The Beast is the one Disney Classic that the late and great Walt Disney missed out on because he died just under 30 years before the film's release and one he would be deeply proud of if he was still here with us. Four of the Disney Classics in a row are the main four he missed and are probably the most famous ones: The Little Mermaid, Beauty And The Beast, Aladdin and The Lion King. Beauty And The Beast definitely tops all four of them. Beauty And The Beast is a musical that sends a very powerful, true and heartfelt message and that is love isn't really about the looks on a person but it is mainly about what is inside and who they are. Because of that message, Beauty And The Beast is too lovely to watch let alone imagine. It is a film that is hilarious with really funny and yet bizarre sorts of characters. This is a really creative story compared to other Disney's because it helps us realise a lot of things in life involving love that are very important. It is very beautiful because it seems to be a life-changing film because of the romance. A lot of people refer Beauty And The Beast to be the best and most famous animated film of all time because it is the first and only animated film to have been nomination for Best Picture at the Academy Awards. It shows that even one so beautiful can love one so ugly and different (as far as looks are concerned anyway).

The voice acting performances were all awesome and funny. I just love Belle's character because she looks inside a person not outside to love. She would rather choose a suddenly sweet, friendly and nice Beast than an arrogant, rude, strong and charming man called Gaston. Belle is my favourite Disney princess for two reasons: she loves inside not outside and my little sister loves Belle as well as she reminds me of her. Belle is a very special character because of those two reasons and also she always tries to be polite to people even if they give her grief on occasions. Also, her loving, caring and loyal way with her father Maurice makes her a very special person. Belle goes through a lot of hard yet bizarre events in the film. Belle always showed who she really was especially with the books she reads. She wouldn't let anybody tell her what to do by telling her to do different things and she wanted to prove that she is happy the way she is. She is a very respectful person to be around and to talk to. Beast was a young human prince once. The young prince was spoiled, selfish and unkind. When he committed his latest sin: shutting an old lady away after wanting shelter because of the cold weather. That old lady turned into a beautiful enchantress. She punishes him by transforming him into a beast and transformed everybody within the castle who lived there into different things. She even changed the whole castle itself around as well from beautiful angel statues to evil devil ones. The only way that would all return is that Beast loves a woman and she loves him in return before the enchanted rose petals fell off. Beast is almost stunned by Belle's beauty but the only weakness he has is that he has a much uncontrolled temper. Beast is a villain to start with but when he slowly falls in love with Belle he then becomes a real hero. Gaston is the main villain within the film because he is a real bully and a real 'so full of himself' sort of man. In the song about him in the pub makes Gaston and the audience feel like he is a literally perfect man. To keep it that way, he wants the most beautiful girl in town as his wife and that unfortunate girl is Belle. He always pushes her into it but always in the bad direction for her to agree to the offer because of his rude attitude towards her. He would use her as a 'trophy wife' so to speak. He is always horrible and violent towards his little sidekick LeFou especially when tries to help Gaston regarding Belle. The once-human now objects inside Beast's castle Lumiere (now a candlestick), Cogsworth (clock), Mrs. Potts (teapot), Chip (cup) and Wardrobe (obviously wardrobe). My favourite one of them all is Lumiere because he is really hilarious, an idiot and a really nice person with good intentions. Gary Trousdale has created a very deep and emotional story that has struck people's hearts like a bolt of lightning. This is a really feel-good and pleasurable story that can be watched over and over again. The director made it a real family film that can be a tradition if you will to make a family watch Beauty And The Beast on a special occasion or something. The script is absolutely awesome with very sublime lyrics in the songs. They are all just amazing to listen to. They are catchy, heartwarming and even quite funny. My favourite song is 'Beauty And The Beast' where Belle and Beast dance in the ballroom. That scene makes me feel the same as the spaghetti scene in Lady And The Tramp. Beauty And The Beast is a very rare treasured story that did earn it the Best Picture nomination in which is the first and only time an animated film has been able to do so. PIXAR's WALL-E should have followed up this year but didn't.

Beauty And The Beast is a classic animated story that does take its place on my favourite romantic films as well as on my favourite animated films. As far as Disney Classics are concerned, I loved this film just as much as Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs but it does not top Pinocchio but isn't that far of. Beauty And The Beast will be the first and only animated Best Picture nominee for a very long time. It will take a lot more than just fun for it to be nominated. It is a one-of-a-kind phenomenon that I could watch again and again and again!

The Prince of Egypt (1998,  PG)
The Prince of Egypt
"Let my people go!"

Director: Simon Wells and Brenda Chapman
Starring: Val Kilmer, Ralph Fiennes, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sandra Bullock
Running time: 100 minutes
Country: USA

The Prince Of Egypt is a film that combines the legend of the Bible with what the world is like nowadays. It is a disturbing film for young children to watch especially with the cruelty of the slaves and people being ugly to each other as it did for me as a child. Despite that fact, it was a film that I couldn't stop watching because it was a film of pure magic, inspiration and delight. The Prince Of Egypt was the first animated film by DreamWorks and it is in my opinion almost as famous as Shrek. I feel that some people are put off by this film being a musical but I think it being a musical sort of relieves and brightens some children's moods when watching it without it completely scaring them. It is probable the most serious animated film that I think I've ever seen.

This film had one of the animated ensemble casts ever which included Val Kilmer, Ralph Fiennes, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sandra Bullock, Jeff Goldblum, Patrick Stewart, Steve Martin and Helen Mirren. Moses is a young man who was adopted the King and Queen of Egypt but has a secret: he is really a Hebrew. He was seperated from his mother, father, brother Aaron and sister Miriam as a baby because the Pharoah ordered the death of all male Hebrew children to prevent a rise in male Hebrews to fight upon the Egyptians. When he learns of his true identity, he runs away from Egypt and lives in the desert which is where he meets God and is assigned to go back to Egypt to free the Hebrews and back to confront his former adopted brother.

It is a remake of the 1956 films The Ten Commandments and I was ever so impressed how they managed to cut down the 220 minutes in The Ten Commandments to around 100 minutes in The Prince Of Egypt. I mean, that is a hard task but it worked ever so well. The script is absolutely brilliant because it's so powerful for both adults and children. It is written in a very serious manner like it wanted to be as believable as the Bible says it is.

Overall, The Prince Of Egypt is the most serious animated films I've ever seen. It is one of my favourites of that genre and is one of the best films of 1998 and one of the best animated musicals ever too. It is a film that used to scare me a lot as a child but I still watched it because it's so good. An absolutely terrific film that will be a classic for many generations!

Ice Age 2: The Meltdown (2006,  PG)
Ice Age 2: The Meltdown
"Call me Squid."

Director: Carlos Saldanha
Starring: Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, Queen Latifah
Running time: 91 minutes
Country: USA

For some reason I like this one more than the first one because I loved the characters within it. Also, there are more characters involved and is in my opinion more of a deep story than the previous one. To me, this film resembles a lot from Shrek 2 because Manny has a similar sort of personality as Shrek. They both appear grumpy and miserable but once you get to know who they really are they both have a big heart and a very emotional side. I find Sid very funny as usual and at the same time a very irritating character in a good way of course. He is a lot like Donkey because of the sweet and kind attitude and particularly how annoying Sid is with Manny just like Donkey is with Shrek. I think it would be pretty funny to see Sid and Donkey in a film together as it would be for Manny and Shrek. It was really cleverly done as far as the jokes are concerned which was so awesome about this film. I love John Leguizamo's voice because he talks in a duck-like lisp with Sid. His voice connects perfectly with Sid's character. John truly has one of the wierdest voices that I have ever heard.

Ray Romano and Denis Leary make a fantastic return as Mammoth Manny and Sabre-Tooth tiger Diego. New characters Mammoth (self-called) Ellie who is voiced by Queen Latifah typically. Her two menacing possum "brothers" Crash and Eddie who are voiced by Seann William Scott and Josh Peck. I think Crash is a really character for Seann because Crash is a real troublemaker which is what Seann is like in American Pie trilogy and Road Trip. When Crash calls Manny a "pervert" that is something that Seann William Scott would say. The script was good but I did think that it was a very predictable story.

It is like I sort of knew what was going to happen even before I saw the film for the first time and also while I was watching it at the cinema in 2006. It is better than the first film in my opinion even though I do still really like the first one a lot. My second favourite animated film of 2006 after Monster House and it is one of the funniest films of 2006 and one of the funniest animated films of all time too. It is a bit overrated but it is one of the funniest animated film of all time.

Monsters, Inc. (2001,  G)
Monsters, Inc.
"Well, in that case, let's keep it. I always wanted a pet that could kill me."

Director: Pete Docter
Starring: John Goodman, Billy Crystal, Steve Buscem, Mary Gibbs
Running time: 92 minutes
Country: USA

I absolutely love this film! I loved it as a kid and still love it now. Monsters, Inc. is packed with pure magic, inspiration and just pure beauty. Finding Nemo is the funniest Pixar and I find this one almost as funny. This is an animated classic as far as I'm concerned and I am proud to say that. Monsters, Inc. is beautifully told like pretty much all Pixars are that involve both stories and characters have adult and child feelings about them. Monsters, Inc. is a very wacky story but I thought it was one of the cleverest animated family plots ever. Monsters, Inc. ended like there could be a sequel but to be perfectly honest, I actually hope there isn't going to be because this one was good enough. I would still watch it if there will be one.

This is probably the cutest Pixar with the cutest characters. Sulley is a very serious character but is also beautiful, funny and cute. Sulley is voiced by John Goodman. Goodman's voice for Sulley was probably the best choice. Sulley is the greatest scarer in all of Monsters Incorporated. His best friend Mike is his assistant. Mike is the funniest character of the film. In fact, he is the funniest male Pixar character because he's like the male Dory. What I mean by that is that Mike is very hyper and a complete idiot. Billy Crystal's voice really made it that way so that was perfect. Boo is the cutest Pixar character ever because she is too adorable to not hate. I thought it was better we didn't know her real name because it would make Sulley's relationship with Boo not as special. Sulley loved and treated Boo like one of his own. Randall is a very evil monster. Steve Buscemi's voice was literally perfect because his voice is creepy, slithery and slimy which was precisely part of the character.

Pete Docter's direction of Monsters, Inc. was absolutely brilliant! Despite how much I enjoyed Up, I find Monsters, Inc. far better in every aspect. Monsters, Inc. has a very childish plot but Docter made it feel like a very fun film for adults as well as for children. Monsters, Inc. is a brilliantly crafted film that probably had some doubts.

Monsters, Inc. is a treasured family classic from such a successful animation studio. Monsters, Inc. is Pixar's 4th best film after Ratatouille, Finding Nemo and Toy Story 2. Unfortunately, it's not the best animated film of 2001; that goes to Shrek. Monsters, Inc. is one of my favourite animated films and it totally deserves to be.

Disney's Aladdin (1992,  G)
Disney's Aladdin
"Three wishes, to be exact. And ixnay on the wishing for more wishes. That's all. Three. Uno, dos, tres. No substitutions, exchanges or refunds."

Director: Ron Clements and John Musker
Starring: Scott Weigner, Robin Williams, Linda Larkin, Jonathan Freeman
Running time: 90 minutes
Country: USA

What a very exciting, tense, romantic and funny film this is. Aladdin along with Beauty And The Beast, The Lion King and The Little Mermaid are the ultimate Disney renaissances. What I love about Aladdin is that it makes you feel different things in different ways. It has intense action scenes especially when Aladdin, Abu and Carpet are in the Cave Of Wonders trying to escape. Aladdin is a hilarious film as well because of the variety of characters and the humour that they bring out. Aladdin has now been made into a trilogy. The two sequels Return Of Jafar and Aladdin And The King Of Thieves aren't as good as Aladdin but are still fun enjoyable films. "A Whole New World" is my favourite song from the whole film as well as my all-time favourite Disney song.

Aladdin is the most heroic Disney male character out of all of them. Aladdin is a very poor young man who can barely feed himself and his monkey friend Abu. We don't find out why he is poor in this one and how he ended up with Abu but we do in Aladdin And The King Of Thieves. He is a thief but he does it for the right seasons. Because he does these crimes he is referred as the "Street Rat" of Agrobah. Aladdin is sent to the dungeon and then meets an old prisoner (Jafar in disguise). He makes Aladdin get the magic lamp for him. After this quest, it becomes more serious yet more magical than ever. Genie has always been my favourite Disney character because he is just hilarious especially with Robin Williams' voice. Also, he can provide any magic you can think of. Jafar is one terrifying villain but isn't as bad as Scar though.

Aladdin is a magical classic that was one of my favourite childhood films and it's not that far from my favourite films of all time. I love this classic but prefer Pinocchio, Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs, Beauty And The Beast, Lady And The Tramp and The Lion King though. Aladdin is a very intense, mindblowing film that I did and still could watch over and over again.

Monster House (2006,  PG)

The Incredibles (2004,  PG)
The Incredibles
"That was the best vacation ever! I love our family."

Director: Brad Bird
Starring: Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Samuel L. Jackson, Jason Lee, Sarah Vowell
Running time: 115 minutes
Country: USA

This is a very different animated film that has ever been done. The Incredibles is a film that is just an absolute masterpiece with such unbelievable action for an animated film which I don't think has ever happened before. It is one of the very few animated epics. Others with it are Aladdin and The Lion King. It is an absolutely incredible story with such beautiful characters, hilarious humour and really thrilling scenes. I think The Incredibles is the superhero film that almost every family have been waiting a lot time for. I saw The Incredibles at the cinema when I was 13 years old and I was literally obsessed with it but it wasn't my favourite film at the time. Two of the back-to-back PIXAR films have been the most cleverly humorous ones: Finding Nemo and The Incredibles. It is such a phenomenal film that I would call almost a perfect action animated film. It was about time there was an animated film like The Incredibles because it is like a little boy's dream to be a superhero and The Incredibles shows the reality of that ambition. The cast was really awesome.

It stars Craig T. Nelson as voice of Bob Parr/Mr. Incredible, Holly Hunter as voice of Helen Parr/Elastigirl, Samuel L. Jackson as voice of Lucius Best/Frozone, Jason Lee as voice of Buddy Pine/Syndrome, Wallace Shawn as voice of Gilbert Huph, director Brad Bird as voice of Edna Mode and more. I loved all of the different sets of characters within this masterpiece. Mr. Incredible/Bob Parr is a man who has unlimited strength. He marries Elastigirl/Helen Parr (her maiden name is unknown) and their marriage affects the other superheros and the whole town they live in. They try and keep undercover of their true identity. Helen is a woman who can stretch any part of her body in any possible way she could. For example, like messing around with chewing gum (just a figure of speech and example). Helen and Bob have three children but all three of them are diagnosed with superpowers. The eldest child Violet Parr is a young teenage girl who has two powers. She has invisibility and can create force and protection fields around her or anyone around her. The middle child Dash Parr is the most like Bob because he is a young blond haired arrogant little child. He has unlimited speed and can run as fast as a plane can fly or in easier terms can run like a bolt of lightning. The youngest child and baby Jack-Jack Parr is a little boy that none of his family thought had any powers at all but he does. Jack-Jack can turn himself into metal iron and can control temperature levels by turning himself into flames and also into little red devils. Bob's best friend and fellow superhero Frozone/Lucius Best is an American-African man who can use snow/ice in any way he could apart from actually turning himself into it. I loved Bob's boss Gilbert Huph because he is a tiny little arrogant man who has a big man like Bob as his employee who he can push around but on one scene Bob loses his cool with him and throws him through five walls of the building. That was bloody hilarious! I was in hysterics for about 15 minutes. My favourite character from the whole film is definitely Edna 'E' Mode because she is hilarious. She has a hilarious voice, wacky personality and a stubborn attitude. Her voice was just constantly hilarious every single time I heard a word come out of her mouth.

Brad Bird's direction of The Incredibles is incredible. He has created PIXAR's most hard-hitting film to date. Bird is my favourite animated filmmaker because he has created really clever films with deeply interesting characters even though they are totally different films. Bird's work in The Incredibles is beyond any other filmmaker because he makes a film that is an action film but made it clever, hilarious and quite deep in drama for the genre it is mainly part of: animation. There has never been and probably never will be any other animated film like The Incredibles. It is as simple as that and nothing/nobody can take that away from The Incredibles. It is a one-of-a-kind family, action-comedy-sci fi film. Most superhero films have pretty lame scripts but the script in The Incredibles is beyond any other superhero film other than The Dark Knight.

The Incredibles is one of the smartest animated films ever. It is my third favourite superhero film ever after The Dark Knight and Spider-Man 2. I am a massive PIXAR fan and I love pretty much all of the films they have done. The Incredibles is my fifth favourite PIXAR so far after Ratatouille, Finding Nemo, Toy Story 2 and Monsters, Inc.. Bird's work on this and Ratatouille are absolutely awesome but I love Ratatouille more. The Incredibles has the best ending ever from an animated film too. The Incredibles is an absolutely amazing one-of-a-kind masterpiece that is one of the best action films of the decade. It is a film that I will definitely love for the rest of your life.

The Nightmare Before Christmas (2008,  PG)
The Nightmare Before Christmas
"What's this? What's this? There's color everywhere! What's this? There's white things in the air! What's this? I can't believe my eyes, I must be dreaming; wake up, Jack, this isn't fair! What's this?"

Director: Henry Selick
Starring: Chris Sarandon, Catherine O'Hara, Danny Elfman, William Hickey
Running time: 76 minutes
Country: USA

It really was an unusual film to begin with because of the extremely bizzare animation and also of the very creepy characters. Jack Skellington is a character that nobody has ever seen before. This film was really beautiful and was quite scary aswell because as I said it is very weird and unusual. When I first saw The Nightmare Before Christmas when I was a little kid, it scared me because is was a dark coloured film and also I had never seen any 3D animated film. This film was released before Toy Story so this film was the first ever 3D animated film. The character Oogie Boogie used to scare me a lot because he was like a ghost and was really evil. Also, I found a lot of the dead people quite creepy to start with because of the ugliness of the characters and also because of the way the characters body parts were missing and could see like Sallys arms and legs came apart, Jack could pull his own head off and Dr. Finkelstein could pick off bits of his own brain and can touch it too. After watching about 3 years after watching it first time, I absolutely loved it as I still do right now.

The voice acting was superb from Chris Sarandon because he made us all feel sorry for Jack and yet made us not feel sorry for Jack because he was wrecking a world tradition that everybody loves. Music composer Danny Elfmans singing voice for Jack was simply amazing. His voice is a really good talent for both music and for singing too. I liked Catherine O Hara in this film too because she made Sally in my opinion the most powerful character in the whole film. This film shows true colour of what is more important in this world: Halloween or Christmas.

This film was really well directed by Henry Selick but would have been even better if Tim Burton himself directed it. But Tim Burton did most of this film. He produced it, thought of the story and all the characters too but he didnt write this film. The screenplay was really good because there were a lot of lines that mixed between Halloween and Christmas which was really great and was the whole point of the story.

This film is my 8th favourite Tim Burton film after Sweeney Todd, Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow, Big Fish, Ed Wood, Batman and Charlie And The Chocolate Factory. But I do still love this film a lot. This is just a delight to watch around Halloween and around Christmas. It is a very unusual family but it has the moving abilities to have its rightful place as a beautiful family film for everyone to enjoy. Masterpiece!! Without a doubt one of most fun and eventful animated films of all time.

Peter Pan (1953,  G)
Peter Pan
"Second star to the right and straight on till morning."

Director: Clyde Geronimi
Starring: Bobby Driscoll, Kathryn Beaumont, Hans Conreid, Bill Thompson
Running time: 77 minutes
Country: USA

Peter Pan is another magical Disney Classic that I loved as a kid and still love now. This film is beautifully crafted in such a beautiful way. Peter Pan truly showed us all the start of what adventure is and it gives us a very beautiful way of using our imaginations. Peter Pan isn't just funny, magical and adventurous but it's also really tense to watch. I was blown away by this film when I saw it again when I was 12 after 4 years of no viewing of the film. J.M. Barrie's work on Peter Pan is an inspiration to me just like Finding Neverland is.

The story follows a family in London who live in a very large house in an ordinary street. They all believe in Peter Pan which is why Peter sees them quite regularly. Peter lost his shadow and tries to find it in the Darling family house. Peter takes Wendy, John and Michael to Neverland which is inside a star in the sky. To get there Peter teaches them to fly. Their adventure is in jeopardy because they must fight off against the villainous Captain Hook and his crew.

Peter Pan is a beautiful Disney Classic. It is one of my favourites but it isn't the best one. I'd probably say it's my 9th favourite Disney Classic after Pinocchio, Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs, Beauty And The Beast, Lady And The Tramp, The Lion King, Aladdin, Robin Hodd and 101 Dalmatians. Peter Pan is a hilarious and beautifully magical film that will always remain an animated classic.

WALL-E (2008,  G)
WALL-E
"Directive."

Director: Andrew Stanton
Starring: Ben Burtt, Elissa Knight, Jeff Garlin, Fred Willard
Running time: 98 minutes
Country: USA

WALL-E truly is one of a kind. It is a film with nothing more than beauty and inspiration. It is so beautiful because of what sort of character WALL-E really is. Also, when WALL-E is cast up into space, he discovers and we discover the beauty that created our planet. There are scenes involving the Sun, stars and even the Milky Way. It is so inspiring to me because I have always loved learning about space and the Universe. This is a film that tells a story about self discovery and what can be achieved in life. WALL-E is a film that is rather complex within the story but once you get the hang of it, it is easier to understand. In addition, for the first 30 minutes, there is just WALL-E on Earth and then he meets EVE. Some would find this rather boring but isn't boring at all. It is just getting to know and understand WALL-E's personality. PIXAR haven't done a science fiction film before. All of their films are based on one particularly subject but this is the most emotional and inspiring and cute one out of all of the films PIXAR have done.

Ben Burtt's voice as WALL-E and M-O is very funny and is very bizarre because he is around 50-60 years old and he has a voice that is squeaky and kind of warbled and muddled. After 700 years of cleaning the world's garbage, WALL-E (being the only one of his kind left) is a lonely robots who collects human objects and belongings during his work and places them in a big and takes them back to this little truck he lives in. When he meets EVE he becomes nervous and confused around her and their relationship grows great depth.

Andrew Stanton directs this film better than Finding Nemo. Reason being was because WALL-E is smarter and better put together than Finding Nemo. I'm not saying Finding nemo isn't any of those in which it certainly is but WALL-E is better in that way. The script is very original like all of the PIXAR's are but WALL-E doesn't have a very long script or even a script at all until WALL-E meets EVE. WALL-E will be the best animated film of 2008. It is the best science fiction film since Aliens, it is one of my top animated, comedy, family and romantic films of all time. Before seeing WALL-E a second viewing on Christmas Day 2008, I loved WALL-E even more but Ratatouille is still the best for me.
