Spider-Man 3 (2007, PG-13)
I was so excited to see the third installation. One was good, Two was great, and then Three just sucked. The scene with dancing Peter Parker was painful to watch. Was there some competition to squeeze as many villians in to the movie as possible? It was near impossible to explore the villians character and connect with them. They just ended up being a collection of people in colorful suits throwing things at spiderman. |

Alien Resurrection (1997, R)
I still liked it, just because its an Alien movie, but it really didn't have the feel of the other 3. Winona Ryder was a fun addition and I liked Ripleys hybridness, added a bit of darkness to her character. But the alien baby was just horrible and silly. I could go for an ALien 5 with Ripley going crazy and killing people lol. |

Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008, PG)
First of all I'm not a huge SW fan, so take this review with a grain of salt. Overall it was kinda dull, boring story, horrible dialogue, and annoying characters (esp the idiotic droids). The only redeeming part of the movie was the one unexpected piece that made us all laugh. Stop reading if you want to see it still...Drag Queen The Hut was hilarious!! Supposedly its Jabba's uncle, but the guy is covered with makeup, wears a feather headdress like a 20's flapper, and sounds like Truman Capote. "I love that little hutlet!!" Just think of it as the pilot for the animated series that is suppose to come out later. |
