I Am Legend (2007, PG-13)
This movie is beyond fantastic! It is probably one of the best that I have seen in a very long time. The special effects are amazing, the plot is well developed, the actors (people and dog) are great, the story has never been done this well before. I am amazed by Will Smith's acting. It is exctiing the whole time. You never know what to expect next so you are always ready for the next bit of action. Great, great, great!!! Everyone should watch this movie. EVERYONE!!! |

The Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers (2002, PG-13)
My precious! There is no way to write a review about this. You either know the story and want to watch the movie or you don't. I think the movie is well done, but not everyone is going to want to watch. It is very long and that is about the only that stands out. Like I said if you know the books, you know the movie. |

Carolina Moon (2007, Unrated)
A wonderful movie. So it's a little on the corny, over-acted side, but it is still a great love story. Forlani and Hudson were beautiful together. As always there is a very emotional -yet happy- ending. I love movies like this and hope to see more movies inspired by Nora Robert's books. (Yes, I know, I am such a romantic sap.) |

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008, PG)
This one was so much better than the first one. The special effects were a thousand times better and the story was more interesting. I am not happy about the Susan/Caspian separation. I don't remember the books even though I did read them was I was a kid so I don't really know what is going to happen next. |

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010, Unrated) |

Bridge to Terabithia (2007, PG)
How is this a family movie? Aren't they supposed to be happy and uplifting. (SPOILER ALERT) They kill off a small child and that to me is not very happy or uplifting. And where did the preachiness come from? How do they hide these things in movie trailers, because I think these are two very important elements and they came as a complete surprise. |

The Golden Compass (2007, PG-13)
I am thinking that this is most likely the weirdest and most improbable movie that I have ever watched. I am not really sure how this movie is supposed to be so good. I am missing what is so profound . I recommend that if you are going to watch this, have something else close by to work on at the same time. Perhaps some arts and crafts or filing :) |
