1
Pet Sematary (1989,  R)
Pet Sematary
Very disturbing as only Stephen King can make it.
2
Apt Pupil (1998,  R)
Apt Pupil
This movie was exceptionally disturbing. Perhaps I was a little to young to understand everything that was going on, but I got enough to be freaked out. Maybe I will watch this again now that I am all grown up. :)
3
Thinner (1996,  R)
Thinner
I loved this very creepy masterpiece from the sick and twisted mind of Stephen King. He is the master of disturbing stories and the pie was enough to completely gross me out.
4
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005,  PG)
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
This is a very endearing story about 4 friends that grow up together and are about to spend their first summer apart. Lots of teen drama is involved - you have been warned!
5
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005,  PG)
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Creepiest part for Depp to date. Yes, he was strange in Edward Scissorhands, but I really thought he would molest the little children in this movie for real. Great job on the pedophile factor.
6
Hulk (2003,  PG-13)
Hulk
Gotta love the man that can morph into an angry green giant and not split his pants. This is highly improbable, but since this is based on a comic I guess I have to let that go. The movie is worth watching, just don't get bent out of shape about the differences between this and the comics.
7
Spider-Man (2002,  PG-13)
Spider-Man
GOD! Another franchise I am trapped in! Tobey Maguire + tight Spidey suit = great times for all
8
Spider-Man 2 (2004,  PG-13)
Spider-Man 2
Another movie in the franchise that has brainwashed America. Not so sure this was my favorite of the three. (3 so far) I watched it once, it was enjoyable, but I probably won't watch it ever again. It realliy isn't a movie that you have to watch more than once.
9
Spider-Man 3 (2007,  PG-13)
Spider-Man 3
GREAT! Even though I am once again stuck in a franchise :) In the tradition of all these movies - Tobey Maguire---tight spandex :)
10
X-Men (2000,  PG-13)
X-Men
Great movie. Very fun to watch the comic (and yes it's a comic) come to life! I love Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. The casting director - GENIUS!!!
11
X2 (2003,  PG-13)
X2
Love Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. He is perfect as the bad - yet good - guy. This is an amazing movie. Who cares if it's based on a comic?
12
X-Men: The Last Stand (2006,  PG-13)
X-Men: The Last Stand
Just as awesome as the first! Still love that Jackman!!!
13
I Am Legend (2007,  PG-13)
I Am Legend
This movie is beyond fantastic! It is probably one of the best that I have seen in a very long time. The special effects are amazing, the plot is well developed, the actors (people and dog) are great, the story has never been done this well before. I am amazed by Will Smith's acting. It is exctiing the whole time. You never know what to expect next so you are always ready for the next bit of action. Great, great, great!!! Everyone should watch this movie. EVERYONE!!!
14
300 (2007,  R)
300
Loved it! What an amazing film! The special effects were beyond wonderful. The plot was great. The whole cast was wonderful!!! Must see it again and again! Can't wait to see the dvd special features.
15
A Walk to Remember (2002,  PG)
A Walk to Remember
I loved this movie! What's not to love? Shane West (so HOT!), bad boys, good girls, laughs and tears! It is such a great movie!!! I own it and I own very few dvds.
16
Runaway Jury (2003,  PG-13)
Runaway Jury
What a fantastic movie. Almost everything that Cusack does is amazing and this is one of the best. It is a masterful suspense thriller! Love it!!!
17
The Bourne Identity (2002,  PG-13)
The Bourne Identity
The first in a series of awesome movies. I never read the book so I have nothing to compare the movie to the original story. Somehow Matt Damon is the perfect person to play the role of Jason Bourne.
18
The Bourne Supremacy (2004,  PG-13)
The Bourne Supremacy
Another great addition to the Bourne movies. Though it is not my favorite, I would recommend it for its awesome action sequences.
19
The Bourne Ultimatum (2007,  PG-13)
The Bourne Ultimatum
Great action, great plot, great car chases, and loads of violence!!! This is a sequel that gets better and better each time they make another.
20
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone) (2001,  PG)
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone)
Almost as great as the book. The actors picked for these roles are believable as their magical counterparts.
21
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002,  PG)
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
The highlight of this movie is Dobby! Yes, there are many good things to watch for and enjoy, but when can you watch a house elf that is as hysterical as him?
22
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004,  PG)
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
YAY! For the continuing saga of the Potter boy.
23
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005,  PG-13)
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Great as all things Harry Potter are!!!
24
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007,  PG-13)
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Best harry Potter movie to date. Can't wait for the next one!
25
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009,  PG)
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Another great in the Potter saga. I am ready for the movies to move forward so we can develop these blossoming love escapades. Now that 'the kids' have branched out in their acting careers they are honing their abilities and I don't just love them because they are adorable anymore.
26
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I (2010,  Unrated)
27
The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring (2001,  PG-13)
The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring
An enjoyable movie based on a more enjoyable book series. who knew Elijah Wood would make such a good hobbit?
28
The Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers (2002,  PG-13)
The Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers
My precious! There is no way to write a review about this. You either know the story and want to watch the movie or you don't. I think the movie is well done, but not everyone is going to want to watch. It is very long and that is about the only that stands out. Like I said if you know the books, you know the movie.
29
The Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King (2003,  PG-13)
The Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King
YAY! Another horrible franchise I was sucked into. But the epic-ness of it all is very appealing.
30
The Notebook (2004,  PG-13)
The Notebook
Does anyone remember the kiss? Maybe it's just me. It was a chick flick, but with more plot and drama than the usual fluff. Highly recommend for al hopeless romantics.
31
Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events (2004,  PG)
Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events
A spectacular movie! Very fun to watch. Carrey was wonderful as evil Count Olaf. The story is a little sick and twisted, but masterful.
32
Montana Sky (2007,  PG)
Montana Sky
This was the best of the four Nora Robert's books that I have found on dvd. The story was only mildly sappy and the acting was tolerable.
33
Carolina Moon (2007,  Unrated)
Carolina Moon
A wonderful movie. So it's a little on the corny, over-acted side, but it is still a great love story. Forlani and Hudson were beautiful together. As always there is a very emotional -yet happy- ending. I love movies like this and hope to see more movies inspired by Nora Robert's books. (Yes, I know, I am such a romantic sap.)
34
Angels Fall (2007,  Unrated)
Angels Fall
Another great Nora Robert's book turned into a movie. This one is -as always- very predictable, but I don't watch these for the deep and meaningful plot. It's all about the fluff & Locklear and Schaech make a great fluff couple.
35
Blue Smoke (2007,  Unrated)
Blue Smoke
This is very dramatic as only a romance novel turned into a movie can be. The saccharine acting and predictability are to be expected. Very cheesy chick flick ending - you have been warned.
36
Batman (1989,  PG-13)
Batman
Michael Keaton should never have been Batman and that is all I have to say about that.
37
Batman Returns (1992,  PG-13)
Batman Returns
Again Keaton is about the worst choice for an actor to play Batman. Aside from the fact that he is extremely short (like Bruce Wayne) there is absolutely no good reason he was cast to play this role. Penguin owns this movie!!!
38
Batman Forever (1995,  PG-13)
Batman Forever
Love Jim Carrey as The Riddler!!! And Val Kilmer makes a much better Batman than Keaton.
39
Batman & Robin (1997,  PG-13)
Batman & Robin
The "president" of California is an awesome Mr. Freeze. Love those Batman villains.
40
Batman Begins (2005,  PG-13)
Batman Begins
Christian Bale is the most wonderful Batman!!!
41
The Dark Knight (2008,  PG-13)
The Dark Knight
Great movie! Great action, great story, great acting!!! Can't say 'GREAT' enough to get my point across.
42
The Spiderwick Chronicles (2008,  PG)
The Spiderwick Chronicles
A very fun movie. Who knew goblins were so evil - yet awesome! I am very glad that it had a happy ending.
43
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (2005,  PG)
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe
This movie is so much like all the other versions of this story that I am getting sick of watching them. But I watched this and will try to remember to stop watching all future remakes.
44
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008,  PG)
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
This one was so much better than the first one. The special effects were a thousand times better and the story was more interesting. I am not happy about the Susan/Caspian separation. I don't remember the books even though I did read them was I was a kid so I don't really know what is going to happen next.
45
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010,  Unrated)
46
Bridge to Terabithia (2007,  PG)
Bridge to Terabithia
How is this a family movie? Aren't they supposed to be happy and uplifting. (SPOILER ALERT) They kill off a small child and that to me is not very happy or uplifting. And where did the preachiness come from? How do they hide these things in movie trailers, because I think these are two very important elements and they came as a complete surprise.
47
Eragon (2006,  PG)
Eragon
Bleck! I can't recommend this movie, but I watched it because I heard good things about the book. I was sadly mistaken in my thinking that this movie would be good. It is full of corny special effects and cheesy dialogue.
48
The Nanny Diaries (2007,  PG-13)
The Nanny Diaries
Not as wonderful as I imagined it was going to be. I love Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans, they saved this movie from really disappointing me. The floating, Mary Poppins balloon kinda scared me a bit. In the end I am glad I watched it, just sorry I paid hard earned money to watch it.
49
How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1967,  G)
How the Grinch Stole Christmas
Yay for the grinch ... oh wait he is technically the bad guy ... all well ... YAY Grinch!!!
50
Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas (,  PG)
Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas
I love Jim Carrey in this. He is the perfect Dr. Seuss character :)
51
Dr. Seuss - The Cat in the Hat (2003,  PG)
Dr. Seuss - The Cat in the Hat
Ridiculous fun for the whole family. I love Mike Myers as the big goofy cat in the hat!
52
The Last Man on Earth (1964,  Unrated)
The Last Man on Earth
This is a pretty awesome movie. You just have to remember that it is very old and corny in a good 60s kinda way. Vincent Price is wonderful :)
53
The Kite Runner (2008,  PG-13)
The Kite Runner
This looks way too touchy felly for me. I have no idea why I thought this award winning book would make a good movie.
54
The Golden Compass (2007,  PG-13)
The Golden Compass
I am thinking that this is most likely the weirdest and most improbable movie that I have ever watched. I am not really sure how this movie is supposed to be so good. I am missing what is so profound . I recommend that if you are going to watch this, have something else close by to work on at the same time. Perhaps some arts and crafts or filing :)
55
Must Love Dogs (2005,  PG-13)
Must Love Dogs
Another great romantic comedy for Cusack and Lane. They are adorable :)
56
The Mist (2007,  R)
The Mist
Very strange as only Stephen King can be. The ending was totally unacceptable, but I hear a rumor that the director changed that from the book ending. NOT COOL!!!
57
P.S. I Love You (2007,  PG-13)
P.S. I Love You
An amazing and beautiful story. It was made for all the romantic saps out there - just like me.
58
Twilight (2008,  PG-13)
Twilight
Why was this series made into a movie? I watched this travesty and it was just as mind-numbing as reading the books. I think this is just one of those movies that everyone has to watch for themselves to understand the pain!
59
The Secret Garden (1993,  G)
The Secret Garden
A great movie version that brings the book to life.
60
21 (2008,  PG-13)
21
This was a great movie! Everything ended just how it needed to - Spacey got exactly what he deserved in the end for using his brilliant students for his own nefarious gain.
