Die Hard 2 (Die Hard 2: Die Harder) (1990, R)
A great sequel to the first Die Hard film. Bruce Willis is excellent again as tough cop John McLane. The film brings more great action scenes with a great story. The villains are not as good as Alan Rickman or Jeremy Irons are in the other Die Hard films. But they served their purpose as decent villains. Overall a great action movie. |

The Last Boy Scout (1991, R)
This is a Bruce Willis classic. Probably his second best character behind his Die Hard series. Bruce and Damon Wayans have great chemistry in this. The film has a basic murder mystery story centered around a football game. The film is fun and full of action and great one liners from Bruce and Damon. I have seen better action films then this but I have a soft spot for it. Well worth checking out. |

Death Becomes Her (1992, PG-13)
This is a dark comedy. Stars Bruce Willis, Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn. Basically about these two women rivals fighting for immortality. Of course we learn that real immortality comes from ones children. This is a solid story that does provide a few laughs. The performances all around are decent. Worth maybe a wone time watch. |

National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon 1 (1993, PG-13)
This is a funny film. Stars Emilio Estevez, Samuel L. Jackson, Jon Lovitz, Tim Curry, William Shatner and Kathy Ireland. The film main spoof is on the Lethal Weapon movies but they also make fun of some other cop movies. The film brings the laughs and gags that I enjoyed. Worth a watch if you liked movies such as Naked Gun or Airplane. |

Striking Distance (1993, R) |

Pulp Fiction (1994, R)
This is a classic from director/actor Quentin Tarantino. He brings together a all star cast in this. The film is set around multiple characters and multiple story lines that somehow all relate back to each other. Now some people may not like how the story jumps around. But it all makes sense in the end. This film help revive the career of John Travolta nd help give Samuel L. Jackson more star power. A great quirly film with great characters and a interesting yet fun story. Worth a watch. |

Die Hard With a Vengeance (Die Hard 3) (1995, R)
A great third film in the trilogy. Bruce Willis is excellent again portraying the tough cop McLane. Jeremy Irons played the perfect villain. This movie had great action scenes with a great story. Samuel l. Jackson was great as the sidekick to Mclane in this film. One of the best action movie series out there. |

Four Rooms (1996, R) |

Twelve Monkeys (12 Monkeys) (1995, R)
This is a good Sci-fi film. The story is about a man sent back in time to find out how a virus was unleashed on earth and killed most of mankind. Of course he is treated as a complete mental case and is thrown into a mental insitute. The film stars Bruce Willis, Brad Pitt and Madeleine Stowe. Brad Pitt gives a awesome performance as a mental patient. The story is decent and the characters interesting to make for a good movie. Loved the ending twist to this film. Well worth checking out. |

The Fifth Element (1997, PG-13)
This is a great action sci-fi movie. It sort of like Star Wars meets Stargate. The film is full of action and great F/X. Bruce Willis is excellent as the main hero in the film. Plus some good supporting roles by Gary Oldman, Milla Jovovich, Ian Holm and Chris Tucker. A great story of a cab driver in the future at the wrong place and the wrong time has to protect a girl to save the world. A decent story and acting. Well worth a watch. |

The Siege (1998, R)
This was a interesting film. Amazing that this story was written before 9/11 happened. Has a decent story and does make you think what you would do to stop the terrorist from blowing up more people. I think I would have took Bruce Willis character side on the martial law. Something had to be done. And I guess that would call for extreme measures. Denzel Washington gives a great performance in this. I thought Annette Benning had a weak performance. Bruce Willis was good in this even though he had a limited role in the film. |

Breakfast of Champions (1999, R) |

The Sixth Sense (1999, PG-13)
Haley Joel Osment sees dead people and I see a classic film. I almost didn't see the ending coming. All the clues were there. This is the film that made M. Night Shyamalan famous as a director/writer.Up there with Signs and Unbreakable as his best films. Bruce Willis and Haley Joel Osment give top notch performances. A spooky fun film that keeps you thinking through out it. A recommended film to watch. |

The Whole Nine Yards (2000, R)
This is a very funny dark comedy. Starring Matthew Perry and Bruce Willis. Bruce is a hitman and Matthew a dentist who befriends him. One thing leads to another and they get into trouble. The film is quite funny and Bruce and Matthew seem to have good chemistry in together in the film. Plus a good supporting cast with Amanda Peet, Michael Duncan Clarke and Natasha Henstridge. The film has many funny moments. Well worth checking out. |

The Kid (2000, PG) |

Unbreakable (2000, PG-13)
Great movie. Loved how all the small connections through the film set it up that Bruce Willis is the super hero and Samuel Jackson is really his evil nemesis. A good take on the super hero genre. Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson both give good performances in this. Some may find the story slow at times but it pays off in the end. Overall a good film. |

Hart's War (2002, R)
This is a good war movie. This was my first Colin Farrell film I ever saw. I thought he was a American actor till after seeing him in interviews after watching this film. Great job on the accent. Bruce Willis is excellent as the Capt of the P.O.W camp. Had a great story and a great supporting cast. Not much action in the film but overall a great WWII based film. |

Sin City (2005, R)
Some people like this film and some people hate it. It was okay for me. I've never read the comics books. But the stories and visual style was great. It seem like a comic book was coming alive in front of me. I was also quite surprised with the violence in this. But that should be expected from a Frank Miller comic. He always writes his stories and characters on the dark side. But well done. Great characters with different stories that all tie in with each other. Bruce Willis, Clive Owen, Mickey Rourke and Jessica Alba played my favorite characters. I would recommend this film to comic fans. |

Lucky Number Slevin (2006, R)
When I first saw the previews for this film I thought it was going to be a comedy. But it turned out to be a action thriller with a twist. Now there are funny moments in this. More of a dark comedy. The film has a great cast. Bruce Willis, Ben Kingsley, Morgan Freeman and Lucy Liu are quite good in this. It's Josh Hartnett that wowed me in this. He was excellent in this. A nice mix of humour and darkness to his character. The film has a good story and a great twist in the end. Well worth a watch. |

16 Blocks (2006, PG-13)
A good cop action thriller. The story about a broken down cop who is trying to get a witness to court before these crooked cops take him down. The story is quite interesting and intense at times. Bruce Willis is excellent as the broken down drunk of a cop who wants to do the right thing. Mos Def was okay but I found it hard to understand his character with all the slurring he does when he talks. The films has some great action and gun fight sequences. Overall a decent action film. |

Over the Hedge (2006, PG)
One of the funniest animation film's in a long time. I had no expectations for this film. But I was quite pleased after watching it. The animation and the story was good. Has great characters and good voice cast. The jokes and humour were excellent for the film. Great for kids and adults to enjoy. A good family film. |

Live Free or Die Hard (2007, PG-13)
The fourth instalment in the Die Hard series. And it does not disappoint. Bruce Willis is back as tough cop John McClane. This time he has to stop a internet terrorist from shutting down all power to the United States. The film is full of action sequences, explosions and gun fights. Just what a Die Hard movie needs. Still the original is my favorite but this was nice to see John McClane back on the big screen. If your a fan of the Die Hard series or just like action films then check this out. |
