The scene where they share the spaghetti is a classic Disney scene. Love it.

25

32
Dirty Dancing (1987,  PG-13)
Dirty Dancing
A classic movie that will remain so. Patrick Swayze at his finest!
33
Troy (2004,  R)
Troy
Let's spend lots of money on a big budget film based on a classic story, and just make it OK... Should have been as good as Gladiator.
34

Confetti
It's pretty funny. It's not amazing but definitely one to watch anyway.
35

39
50 First Dates (2004,  PG-13)
50 First Dates
Wasn't as good as I was hoping it would be. I love Drew Barrymore, but just wish she'd get more gritty. Something Adam will never do.
40
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003,  PG-13)
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days
How To Lose a Guy In Ten Days... Sit down and watch this film with him. OK, it's not that bad, but it's not that great either!
41
West Side Story (1961,  Unrated)
West Side Story
One of the best musicals ever made based on one of the best love stories ever told. This is a total classic. The dancing is better than you will see in any other musical bar none, and the songs are amazing. If you haven't watched it then what planet are you living on?
42
Bull Durham (1988,  R)
Bull Durham
I absolutely hate baseball (sorry American dudes), but this movie gave me such an appreciation you have no idea. I adore Susan Sarandon, and this film proved to me why. The acting was brilliant and the story kept me hooked.
43
The Clearing (2004,  R)
The Clearing
Wow!! seems people hate this movie, but if you can honestly fault the acting then tell me now. The lovely Helen Mirren nearly out-acted Defoe and Redford. Actually, maybe she did. I'm sorry, but because of the acting and the story this deserves to be in my favourites. It's a brilliant film.
44
Look Who's Talking (1989,  PG-13)
Look Who's Talking
I adore this movie. It's a movie that when I was younger that each year I would wanna watch again and again... Tooo bloody funny. Kirstie Alley... When I fell in love with her. Adore this film.
45
Eating Out (2004,  Unrated)
Eating Out
Loved it!! The main guys are so hot! Loved the fact you got them both naked, and the phone sex scene was pretty hot to be honest. Very long! Some of the one-liners were brilliant (Blowmeo!!) Adore it!
46
24 Nights (1999,  Unrated)
24 Nights
It's a very cute film. I so want a boy like Toby!! Can I have one this Xmas? Please? Pretty please? It is pretty funny in places. It's just a really nice heart-warming film.
47
The Trip (2003,  R)
The Trip
The relationship between the two guys is so touching that the ending is heart-wrenching. The main character's bf looks like a young Brad Pitt, but they are both so cute. Really well acted with a different storyline. It's a really good movie.
48
Ethan Mao (2004,  Unrated)
Ethan Mao
This film wasn't what I was expecting at all. It's very touching in some ways, disturbing in others, but very well acted. A love story like you'll never have seen, and so original it deserves a good rating.
49
Adam & Steve (2005,  Unrated)
Adam & Steve
This movie has some of the best one-liners. I love it. I'm a huge Parker Posey fan and this proves why. She's so dry! I love her! A really cute romantic film, with funny moments and a couple of stomach churning ones! All the better! Watch it I say! Double dare you...
50
A Cinderella Story (2004,  PG)
A Cinderella Story
Hmm... It's a nice feel good movie. There are some funny parts, but there's nothing to write home about, except you get to see a lot of Chad Michael Murray... Yummy!! A nice fun film that anyone can enjoy really.
51
Failure to Launch (2006,  PG-13)
Failure to Launch
I have to say that although RomComs aren't my favourite I actually really enjoyed this!! Why can't my body be like Matthew McConaughey's though? Life just isn't fair!! Good fun, and Zooey's character is bloody hilarious!! Very enjoyable!
52
Rent (2005,  PG-13)
Rent
I was really worried that this movie wouldn't do the stage musical justice, but I wasn't disappointed at all! This movie is brilliant and stays true. Rosario Dawson, and the actor that plays Angel totally steal the film for me. They are amazing! I blubbed like a little baby, just like when I see the show!!
53
Here On Earth (2000,  PG-13)
Here On Earth
This movie is really cute. Great performances from Chris and Leelee to show you just how heart-wrenching love is whatever you have to go through. A really honest and beautiful film.
54
You I Love (2004,  Unrated)
You I Love
A gay-positive movie from Russia? Who would have thought it, and it's actually really good. The characters each battle their own demons in different ways, and it is really enjoyable. I highly recommend it.
55
Friends With Money (2006,  R)
Friends With Money
Such a great cast, but it was so slow, and really disappointing to be honest. It's a real shame. This could have been a great movie if it had been at all interesting and the director had upped the ante.
56
Tristan & Isolde (2006,  PG-13)
Tristan & Isolde
This film is just brilliantly acted, and is very similar to Romeo and Juliet in some ways. It's beautiful, and a brilliant period drama to make sure you check out.
57
A Lot Like Love (2005,  PG-13)
A Lot Like Love
This is the perfect Rom Com in my opinion. It's a great story with great characters. I love how they always remember each other and will contact each other after years have passed. A really lovely film. Now where can I get my own Ashton?
58
My Super Ex-Girlfriend (2006,  PG-13)
My Super Ex-Girlfriend
This movie is great fun! Totally loved the silly twist at the end. Nothing like a good bitch-fight! The shark scene was ridiculous, but the effects for it were great! It's good fun, but there's something missing from this movie and I can't quite put my finger on it. Oh, and the jealousy thing really does grate after a while.
59
Imagine Me & You (2006,  R)
Imagine Me & You
This movie is so cute I couldn't help but love it. I totally fell in love with Matthew Goode's character and wished he'd run off with me!! One of the better lesbian flicks. Much better than Kissing Jessica Stein!! Watch it!!
60
The Lake House (2006,  PG)
The Lake House
Hmmm... Really different kind of love story, and really good. I just felt the sugar-coated ending really bloody spoilt it for me. I may watch it again in the future, but unlike The Notebook I wouldn't rush out and buy it!
61
High School Musical (2006,  Unrated)
High School Musical
Definitely one of the most enjoyable movies you will ever watch! Albeit a very cheesy one, but hey, it's Disney. Very easy to fall in love with either of the leads. They are both stunning and endearing. If you wanna feel warm and fuzzy then watch this movie!
62
Step Up (2006,  PG-13)
Step Up
Oh my God... Just strip down Channing Tatum... Cover him in White chocolate sauce and let me loose!! He is sooo hot you could fry a meal on his torso. Oh... the movie? Brilliant! The dancing is second to none. A brilliant mix of two dance worlds colliding. Watch it... I dare you...
63
The Blue Lagoon (1980,  R)
The Blue Lagoon
Wow... Christopher and Brooke are soooo beautiful in this film. It's kind of a timeless romance. It's not amazing by any stretch but very beautiful, and lovely to see Christopher's young tanned body naked. Yum.
64
Return to the Blue Lagoon (1991,  PG-13)
Return to the Blue Lagoon
It's okay. Pretty much mirrors the first one, but without so much nudity. Definitely watchable. Not bad, but wouldn't rush out to see it. If it's on TV then sit and watch with a cup of cocoa and a partner!
65
She's the Man (2006,  PG-13)
She's the Man
This is a great movie with a great cast, who also happen to be steaming hot! Channing Tatum needs to be stripped naked, and tied to my bed with a red bow on him. That would be the best birthday present ever. Ouch. He is steaming! Oh... the movie... He walks around topless a lot. Need I say more?
66
Shortbus (2006,  Unrated)
Shortbus
This is a movie that needed to be made! It's brilliant. Highly explicit, and you can't help get turned on in some places, but I think that's the point. Sex is taboo, but human, so why not make a movie that addresses it frankly? Brilliant movie, and I'm in love with Ceth's character. He is beautiful...
67
Because I Said So (2007,  PG-13)
Because I Said So
A nice safe movie. The character Mandy Moore ends up falling for you completely fall for yourself. A good movie but not great!
68
The Fountain (2006,  PG-13)
The Fountain
Holy wow... This is one of the most amazing movies you will see. Sometimes it tries too hard, but it has great themes, symbolism and the most amazing cinematogrpahy that is second to none. Astonishingly beautiful shots that will simply surprise you. Keeps your brain ticking...
69
Music and Lyrics (2007,  PG-13)
Music and Lyrics
Very cute movie! I love Drew and this was a really original concept. Definitely one to check out if you love Rom Coms.
70
If Only (2004,  PG-13)
If Only
This is a really cute romance that I had never heard of with two lead actors I never thought I'd see in a movie together! But I'm glad I did. Very sweet. Not a great movie, but a good one to make you go 'Aww...' and blub a little!
71
Forrest Gump (1994,  PG-13)
Forrest Gump
Some of the most quotable lines from any movie, and Tom Hanks shows his talent. Sometimes I forget how great an actor he is because for some reason I have a deep-rooted dislike for the man, but this is a phenomenal movie.
72
The Holiday (2006,  PG-13)
The Holiday
This is definitely one of the best romantic comedies you'll see. Loved the originality of the house-swapping idea. It was a bit predictable in places, but is utterly fantastic in my opinion. Loved it. I adore Kate Winslet.
73
Eating Out 2: Sloppy Seconds (2006,  Unrated)
Eating Out 2: Sloppy Seconds
This movie is equally as cheesy as the first one, and does run along a similar line in some ways. Just with different twists. What can I say though? I still adore it, and you still get to see two of the main hot male actors full frontal on top of that... Marco Dapper... Step into my boudoire... And a gay movie sequel?! Definitely a first!
74
Zombie Honeymoon (2004,  Unrated)
Zombie Honeymoon
This is a movie that you will either love or hate to be honest, and I loved it! Completely original take on a zombie flick. I love the emotional and moral turmoil each character is going through. One because the man they love is a zombie, and the other because the woman they love looks good enough to eat! Hilarious.
75
Premonition (2007,  PG-13)
Premonition
This movie was good, although confusing at times. Sandra was absolutely brilliant, but I do wish this movie was a lot better. The kids were good little actresses too.
76
Catch and Release (2007,  PG-13)
Catch and Release
This is a very cute romatic comedy which is a good way to waste an hour and a half. Not remarkable, but definitely enjoyable. Love Juliette Lewis and Kevin Smith as supporting cast. They were funny.
77
Breaking and Entering (2007,  R)
Breaking and Entering
I was extremely impressed with this movie. In some ways I was expecting a rom com, but I was completely proved wrong. Both Jude and Juliette were phenomenal! One of the best and heart-felt dramas I've seen in a very long time!
78
Zerophilia (2005,  Unrated)
Zerophilia
This may actually be one of the most bizarre movies you ever see, but it keeps getting better. Very boring in that first 45 mins, but the concept rocks!! I would love to be a woman for a while and to be able to swap sexes sounds ideal! And as anyone that watches this will hopefully realise is just how sexy that whole issue could be!!
79
Race You to the Bottom (2005,  R)
Race You to the Bottom
I was extremely under-whelmed by this movie. It brings up such amazing questions when you have fag hags. They can so fall in love with you if you aren't careful. Problem is this whole movie is based on arguments between gay boy and straight female. That ISN'T entertainment!!
80
It's a Boy Girl Thing (2006,  PG-13)
It's a Boy Girl Thing
This movie is great fun. Kevin Zegers is as drool-worthy as ever, especially with his top off... Yum!! I've always loved Samaire too, so it was fun seeing them together in a movie where Sharon Osbourne stars as a mother! Just great fun in the vein of Big or Freaky Friday, but comical in other ways due to the gender swap. Thoroughly enjoyable!
81
Candy (2006,  R)
Candy
Wow!! Just amazing performances from Heath and Abbie. They were absolutely brilliant! One of the best drug/romance drams you can imagine. Incredibly depressing in places, but made with such heart. It's their addiction to each other, as well as heroine that rips them apart...
82
Reality Bites (1993,  PG-13)
Reality Bites
Brilliant cast, and a completely classic romantic drama. Ahh... the issues of falling for one of your friends. I think we've all been there! Just brilliant!
83
Cloverfield (2008,  PG-13)
Cloverfield
The effects in this movie are simply amazing. It's really original, and well done, and one of those movies that if you are going to see it it's best to see at the cinema. My biggest issue with it is that there is too much shakiness in the camera work. I mean obviously it adds to the realism, but it's slightly too much and you can end up feeling slightly ill!! Other than that... Wicked take on a creature feature!
84
The Fly (1986,  R)
The Fly
I finally saw an amazing movie that has many issues... A bit like me!! This movie has amazing effects for it's time and Jeff and Geena just steal the show with absolutely everything they do. A creature feature where the main actor becomes the creature... The moment where his ear falls off but you can see how much Geena's character loves him is genius!
85
Wild Tigers I Have Known (2007,  Unrated)
Wild Tigers I Have Known
This movie addresses a hell of a lot of issues, and has some amazingly beautiful cinematography. It has a lot I can relate to from bullying to coming of age to unrequited love for another guy. The main character is 13 though, and although I understand his coming of age it makes me uncomfortable as at times he is turned into a real sex object. Nevertheless it makes for amazing yet uncomfortable viewing, which in some ways the issues involved should be, so, sheer artistic genius...
86
Knocked Up (2007,  R)
Knocked Up
This is one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. It is absolutely hilarious! Some of the best lines in it, and very honest in a lot of ways I think. You totally sympathise with the two main characters, and the supporting cast are equally brilliant! This is a movie most people should be able to enjoy!!
87
Stardust (2007,  PG-13)
Stardust
This is a completely original fairy tale I was thoroughly impressed by... Really enjoyable from Ms Danes as a star in human form to Mr DeNiro as a gay pirate. Great fun, great effects, and yet again Ms Pfeiffer makes a great b***h, and Charlie Cox is a loveable nerd. Brilliant casting.
88
A Good Year (2006,  PG-13)
A Good Year
This is a good, easily watchable drama with a few well-placed laughs thrown in. There are definitely worse ways to spend two hours! Beautiful setting, and a really 'nice' story.
89
Atonement (2007,  R)
Atonement
This is a really good film, but was really annoying in places, and frustrating to watch. It is well acted although Keira's accent is completely bloody annoying and I wanted to slap her. A great story, and incredibly beautiful in places. James is as gorgeous as ever... I think that's the best thing about this movie!
90
Juno (2007,  PG-13)
Juno
This movie has got the biggest heart of any movie I've seen in ages. The dialogue is second to none, as are the characters. Brilliantly funny, brilliantly moving, and I can't fault it. My favourite movie for a long time. Love it!!!
91
Touch of Pink (2004,  R)
Touch of Pink
The best thing about this movie is the mother. She is bloody hilarious! The whole Cary Grant as an imaginary friend thing just gets weirder, and robotic. This movie is amusing.... at times.
92
Definitely, Maybe (2008,  PG-13)
Definitely, Maybe
This is one of those movies where the ending really makes it a complete package of a great RomCom. The concept is original, and the cast is basically perfect in each role. The word for this movie is... Lovely... And it's thoroughly watchable with a great ending.
93
W Delta Z (The Killing Gene) (2007,  R)
W Delta Z (The Killing Gene)
Wow... Wasn't expecting that in a movie. Especially wasn't thinking a movie like this would make you think about love. Great acting from the whole cast, and a film that really pushes boundaries. Much more impressed than I thought I would be in every way.
94
I Could Never Be Your Woman (2007,  PG-13)
I Could Never Be Your Woman
Now this is a romantic comedy! I could not stop giggling through most of it. The jokes and certain acting were hilarious. The daughter was the biggest drama queen. The cameos were brilliant. weirdly loads of UK cameos, and just very original, and definitely worth a watch. I think you could surprise yourself at how much you enjoy this movie!
95
Good Luck Chuck (2007,  R)
Good Luck Chuck
This movie was pretty funny until it got irritating and Chuck was full-on. That just kind of ruined it for me. Just an average Rom Com really. Nothing special. I think they could have picked a better looking leading man too to be honest!
96
WALL-E (2008,  G)
WALL-E
Action, romance, and science fiction... This is the only movie I need, an any child or adult should feel the same!! This is stunning... This is the way Short Circuit would have been if the animation was like it is now. You fall in love not only with WALL.E but EVE and MO too. It pushes every single button within you no matter what age you are. Thoroughly amazing, and if you haven't seen it yet then what's your problem?!
97
Fond Kiss..., Ae, (Just a Kiss) (2004,  R)
Fond Kiss..., Ae, (Just a Kiss)
This movie could have been so much better except that every argument that didn't include both main actors was absolutely terrible and seemed badly improvised. Also, Casim's best friend was a huge hypocrite with no real case. This could have been an amazing film, but the fact that the lesser cast were mostly poorly cast and arguments were sheer bollocks, it made it VERY mediocre. Shame. Oh, and also, what of her family?! Hello!!
98
I Can't Think Straight (2008,  PG-13)
I Can't Think Straight
Now why do I want to see this movie so much I hear you ask?! Because I'm in it!!! Okay, so not a major role, but hey! It's a start!! Yay!!!
99
Shakespeare in Love (1998,  R)
Shakespeare in Love
This is just an incredibly original love story, and although not true to life, it;s very clever the way everything is linked throughout the story. Definitely a love story with a difference, and all the main characters are very appealing. Comedy & tragedy... Just the way a movie loosely based on Shakespeare should be...
100
High School Musical 3: Senior Year (2008,  G)
High School Musical 3: Senior Year
As usual it is cheesier than 6 month old unwashed foreskin, but it put the franchise back on track. This is really great fun, with some brilliant sequences, and in my eyes may even be better than the first one. Zac is as drool-worthy as ever. Everyone in the cinema got excited when he took his top off revealing his back! Sadly he never turned round!
101
Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008,  R)
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
I'm not a big Rom-Com fan, but I adore this movie... Where can I get a man crying over me?! *sniff* No, really... Great concept and brilliantly pulled off. Even I'd go for the receptionist..
102
Sex and the City (2008,  R)
Sex and the City
Everything a movie follow-up to the series should be and more. It's funny how much you still care about the characters and have missed them if you were an avid follower of the series. Just brilliant... And I want a bad break up that ends in a Mexi-coma now!
103
Lie With Me (2005,  Unrated)
Lie With Me
This is one of the sexiest films I have ever seen! If you don't mind fairly graphic sex scenes this is just incredibly well done. The emotion brought through the characters as well as passion is just immense. It is shot well, with a soundtrack that doesn't over-power the goings on. Understated at times to it's own advantage this is one steamy watch that is well worth it!
104
Mamma Mia! (2008,  PG-13)
Mamma Mia!
This movie is pure clean entertainment, and doesn't try to be anything else! A musical with Julie Walters and Meryl Streep?! It had to be good really! Shame Pierce Brosnan has to open his mouth, but it's colourful, vibrant, and camp... A lot like me really...
105
What Happens in Vegas (2008,  PG-13)
What Happens in Vegas
This is a highly original, and fun rom com... Well, I say highly original... I just wish Britney had had some cameramen around for her little ceremony! That could be worth five stars!
106
Victor Victoria (1982,  PG)
Victor Victoria
This movie is just phenomenal! I was laughing throughout, Julie Andrews and Lesley Ann Warren were phenomenal, and deserved their Oscar nominations for their roles in it, the music is brilliant, as is the story-line. This movie is so risque for it's time what with a certain epidemic coming out at the time. Now one of my favourote movies for originality and brilliance...

Bound (1996,  R)
Bound
Brilliantly acted, sexy, original plot, and original romance. This film is so hot you have to put oven gloves on before you put it in the DVD player.

Boy Culture (2006,  Unrated)
Boy Culture
Is it awful when as a gay man you want to sleep with the three room-mates? Or just human? Or are you glad the characters are gay? Anyway, despite all that this is a really good film where you really care about the characters. There is a great story, and from young-un to the main rent boy you actually really feel for them all equally. Very well done.

Overboard (1987,  PG)
Overboard
I always forget just how much I love this movie! Goldie at her best. It's silly, but something you can watch with your family and be entertained and feel nice and warm and fuzzy after... Bless...

Shelter (2007,  R)
Shelter
This is a really nice bro-mance film! Really heart-warming with a hot cast. Completely believable, and beautifully shot!

Sparkle (2007,  Unrated)
Sparkle
Sparkle is a hidden gem that I stumbled across! Stockhard Channing, with Anthony Head as her gay brother?! And the lead guy is doing her and her daughter! That's a crude explanation! But it's just a brilliant romantic drama, and I adore it!!

Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind (2004,  R)
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind
This movie is just amazing... Watching the deconstruction unfold, and yet proving at the same time that some people really ARE meant to be together. Carrey in what is most likely his best role, and Winslet in one of hers. I love a quirky Kate! It is beautiful, magical, poignant, depressing, and uplifting, and not many movies can say that...

Over Her Dead Body (2008,  PG-13)
Over Her Dead Body
I didn't think this was bad at all for a rom com. I did laugh out loud in certain places and enjoyed it, which surprised me! You could definitely do worse for an hour and a half than watch this movie!

27 Dresses (2008,  PG-13)
27 Dresses
I actually really enjoyed this... It's a nice heart-warming rom-com that you can snuggle up & watch & have a bit of a giggle. I want to know if someone that wedding nutso actually exists? Well worth a watch.

I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry (2007,  PG-13)
I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry
This movie does seem to use nearly every gay cliche in the book, which can be annoying and cringe-worthy at times. I do hope it makes some straight guys laugh at themselves for their own pre-conceptions. It is an enjoyable flick, and I may be gay, but even I fancied Jessica Biel in this! Wow!

The Broken Hearts Club (2000,  R)
The Broken Hearts Club
This is a heart-warming gay movie. It's got an interesting cast! Zach Braff blonde & gay I took a bit of a shine to. It's just good fun with highs & lows, and a pretty good representation compared to some movies! Very enjoyable fair that you can sit & watch with a cup of cocoa!

Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging (2008,  PG-13)
Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging
This is a seriously feel good movie, and you completely warm up to loving it. The girl that plays Georgia is endearing, and the guy that plays her love interest is beautiful. Just a really good movie that's suitable for most to watch!

He's Just Not That Into You (2009,  PG-13)
He's Just Not That Into You
This was one of the best rom-coms I've seen in ages. All the different characters & their different issues and entanglements gave it a believability, and you're rooting for the characters throughout. A stellar cast and a great script means it is well worth sitting down with some friends and a cup of hot chocolate to watch this.

Twilight (2008,  PG-13)
Twilight
Okay, so it's no wonder people are talking about this movie. It is absolutely beautifully done. I am so glad I finally saw it... It is everything people say & more & that is the truest compliment I can give. Watch it... Now!!

17 Again (2009,  PG-13)
17 Again
Any movie that starts off with Zac Efron with his shirt off gets instant points from me. It was a fun movie. This format has been kinda milked, but it was still pretty good. Worth a watch.

Hush (2009,  Unrated)
Hush
This was a very random pastiche of a movie... There are a lot of trucker killer movies. I believe this is the first British one after Aussie and US equivalents. There were times when it was a bit too real, but also points where the main character had options that would have been better! Very odd, but amazingly acted!!

Slumdog Millionaire (2008,  R)
Slumdog Millionaire
This is a truly beautiful film, warts and all... Just like humanity... It's always a shame about the warts, but I loves it! The director I have to give the biggest props to! That was phenomenally done! Just amazing. The hype is ripe!

Låt den Rätte Komma In (Let the Right One in) (2008,  R)
Låt den Rätte Komma In (Let the Right One in)
Wow. This is a coming of age story you have never seen. This is a vampire movie you have never seen. It is a foreign film du force. Just unbelievably good with young actors that bring it to life. Poignant, pale, and abosolutely poetic. I can't praise this movie enough. You watching it is the only justice.
124
Revolutionary Road (2008,  R)
Revolutionary Road
This is an incredibly well-acted movie. The issue is that it is very dull in places, and quite drawn out. It is a complete study of the dissolution of a marriage/relationship in a way. Love & hate really do go hand in hand at times, because they are the strongest emotions. It is very realistic, but if you are having marital problems of your own it's probably not a good idea to watch it!!
125
Marley & Me (2008,  PG)
Marley & Me
This is a really cute movie. I forgot how beautiful Jennifer Aniston really is until watching this. It is a completely heart-felt story, and you go through the trials and tribulations of the couples life as they grow with their troublesome canine who deep down they adore. I even shed a few tears.
126
Milk (2008,  R)
Milk
Wow! The reviews and the Oscars don't even do this film justice. It's really empowering to watch the story of someone like Milk, who campaigned so much for not only us gays, but all minorities. It's people like him, and the gays involved in the Stonewall riots that paved the way for us to be so much luckier today and not have to hide in the woodwork. I wasn't a Sean Penn fan at all until watching this film, but he embodied the real-life character he played. From smiling to anger to crying... This movie brought out every emotion. Phenomenal.

Chi Bi (Red Cliff) (2009,  R)
Chi Bi (Red Cliff)
This is a completely epic war movie... Visually stunning with amazing characters. The battle sequences are second to none, apart from the fact you can get confused as to which side you are watching, or which section of the allies is fighting. That does make it more confusing. The various ways in which each side strikes an attack, from sending their typhoid-inflicted dead, to collecting the oppositions arrows by getting them to shoot at them, were just sheer utter genius. This movie is a sensory tour de force.

How to Lose Friends & Alienate People (2008,  R)
How to Lose Friends & Alienate People
This is a pleasant film. You kind of enjoy watching it, but it's completely unremarkable, which is ashame with such a good cast. I smiled a few times, got bored a few times, but could relate a fair bit. Does that make me unremarkable too?

Reine Geschmacksache (Fashion Victims) (2007,  Unrated)
Reine Geschmacksache (Fashion Victims)
Ooooh... I do love a cute German boy. But that's by the by... This is a great piece of queer foreign fun. I totally relate to the main character as dad's can be such self-righteous narcissistic twats, but you love them nonetheless. Good fun.

Dream Boy (2008,  R)
Dream Boy
OK... This movie does hit all emotions... It starts off as a sweet love story. You don't know the two main characters' names, they just start flirting, but there's religion involved. Blah. Then you realise finally why one character is so annoyingly quiet, and I clocked why slightly before. It gets darker. Then the Dream Boy (who is a dream boat) takes him on a trip with two mates, and it gets a confusing ending. I'm gonna read the book because this frustrated the bloody hell out of me! Watch & you'll understand what I mean. This shouldn't have had a Mulholland Drive moment!!!!!!!
