True Heart Bear and Noble Heart Horse are caretakers of the young Care Bears and Care Bear Cousins aboard the Cloud Clipper. They move the Cubs to two new places: growing up, the Bears will reside in Care-a-lot and the Cousins will live in the Forest of Feelings. True Heart Bear with stowaway Swift Heart Rabbit inside her bag invites Dawn and John to come and take care of the babies back at the Kingdom of Caring to baby-sit the orphan Cubs.

Care Bears meet Kim (Cree Summer) & Jason (Sunny Besen Thrasher) are siblings stop caring since their parents died. Tenderheart Bear finds another child in need help - a lonely boy named Nicholas the young apprentice (Mickey Rooney) has never had friends @ Amusement Park with a world-famous magician named "The Great Fetuccini. The Care Bears meet a girl named Anna, her little brother Peter and the Nutcracker. The Care Bears find themselves in Toyland where they meet a little princess and a Nutcracker. They have to protect themselves from the evil Rat King and a magical Vizier who plans to destroy Toyland.

The White Rabbit of Wonderland arrives and asks for his niece, Swift Heart Rabbit in the Care Bears and Care Bear Cousins' home, the Kingdom of Caring. They find the Princess of Wonderland is missing to show them the picture of Princes of Wonderland. Grumpy Bear learns there is a girl named Alice who looks exactly like the Princess of Wonderland while on their search the real Princess of Wonderland.
