Wayne's World (1992, PG-13)
Back in the day... when Mike Myers was still funny, and Dana Carvey was Garth Algar! Wayne's World was my absolute favourite film when I was a kid! Garth is the only Dana Carvey character I have ever liked. His dance to Hendrix's "Foxy Lady" always puts the biggest smile on my face! And the "Bohemian Rhapsody" rock out in Wayne's car is what instilled the love of Freddie Mercury into my heart forever! |

Powder (1995, PG-13)
Very emotional and beautiful film. It gives me chills every time I watch it! Sure it could have done with some better performances, but the story is utterly fantastic. It's a shame the director had to molest some kid in a prior film. It really focused a lot of negative energey around Powder's release. Just because the director is a disgusting human being, it doesn't make this film any less amazing. I haven't seen anything like this before, and I probably never will again. |

Road House (1989, R)
PATTY S. and Sam Elliot! Yes! Well, this has to be one of my biggest guilty pleasures! It's a real "manly" film, but with an actual story, an excellent soundtrack, and some fabulous '80s cheese! Not to mention, Jeff Healey, who fronts the band that serves as the Double Deuce's main act nearly every night! |
