Police Academy (1984,  R)
Police Academy
classic 80s comedy and certainly best of 7 films, displaying all the elements that made comedys of that period either great or really bad, a childhood fav here, and watching it all grown up its funny to see jokes i dident get, quite sexual. As any one can train to be a cop, all the oddballs turn out, and hijinx insue, guttenberg has never been better, well thats not saying much is it, as recruit trying anything to get thrown out, and some great charactors, tackleberry, the gun loving tough guy, jones, the amazing voice, and in commadant lassard a true classic charactor, think leslie nielson,, he could played this, and many others. great comedy moments, and still holds up today,

BMX Bandits (1983,  Unrated)
BMX Bandits
okay, strictly for the 80s kids who were in to bmx,s, and films like the goonies, i loved this growing up, and when i got a bmx for my birthday, was in heaven.
2 bmx kids, spend there days riding round town, trying to stay out of trouble, they take a fancy to anther biker( a teenage nicole kidman) and all 3 go on adventures, they find some walkie talkies, which some criminals have hidden, and decide to try to sell them on, but also haing fun riding there wheels with them round town, when the bad guys know they got them, the kids have to outrun the badguys, using there wits and there bikes. this film is, was cool, i have re watched it recently, great cheesy dialogue, at one point one kid tries to cop of with nicole in a ditch dug for a coffin. crappy but fun situations, and some of the best bike work around( the chase scene through town is great, water slides and erverything, and a great finaly where every bmx biker in town turns up, a australian flick too, so lots of goodays, and aussie humour, probely nicoles best film actually
