Empire of the Sun (1987,  PG)
Empire of the Sun
Absolutely astounding potrayal by Christian Bale. Filmed in 1987. One of Spielberg's greatest. It inspires, delights, sheds some tears and uplifts the soul of its viewers.

The Machinist (2004,  R)
The Machinist
It was amazing to view Bale 's physical transformation here. His profound dedication to his role never ceases to astound audiences This film is complete with dark and quite dreary set-up, with dozens of shots of Bale's extremely frail and rail-thin skeleton structureThis film is about a man working in a heavy industry. He suffers from insomnia and hasn't slept for a year. This condition is causing him to lose weight, and his perception of reality to become twisted. Soon he doesn't know what's real or not. This movie intrigued me from beginning till end.

Rescue Dawn (2007,  PG-13)
Rescue Dawn
An exceptionally good POW movie about the survival of Dieter Dengler. Impressive performance from comedian Steve Zahn n Bale was brilliant . Lost 55 pounds for that role!!!
4
Equilibrium (2002,  R)
Equilibrium
This is so much more superior than the over rated Matrix. Christian Bale is lethal with the gun and delivers the most incredible gun fights sequences. A sci fi at its best

Terminator Salvation
Terminator fans would definitely get a kick out of this. A very worthy addition to the franchise. It is different from the other Termi movies. This one has top-notch action sequences. Christian Bale IS John Connor.

Harsh Times (2006,  R)
Harsh Times
Christian really is the soldier of the apocalypse. It is amazing to see how his character changes with a flip of a switch. He portrays different levels of insanity! One minute he was a loving man wanting to marry his woman and next he was a raving lunatic with a thirst for blood and rage. One would forget his Batman/Bruce Wayne and John Connor characters here. He shares such great chemistry with the other actor ,Freddy Rodriguez(his hommie). Just take a walk on the wild side, the streets of LA with these boys!
