But 2/3 of the way through the film, it turns into a romantic comedy. Cary Grant is tremendously sexy as always - but also a funny bit goofy. |

Unlike teen films of today, the Trouble with Angels is a mutli-dimensional film. Yes, it's a comedy about girls at boarding school, but it is also a true coming of age story with heartbreak and issues related to a blossoming faith. None of the characters in this film are cliche, but are real three-dimensional human beings. Rosalind Russell and Haley Mills are fabulous. PS. Don't bother to see the sequel - it's really bad and doesn't star the original cast. |
