American Pie (1999,  R)
American Pie
The best of the series, Porky's for the current generation.
2
American Pie 2 (2001,  R)
American Pie 2
Yet even more crude, rude and over the top party fun from the American pie team, if not quite having the charm of the first.
3
American Wedding (2003,  R)
American Wedding
The third in the American Pie series. Just more of the same really with more of the original cast no longer present. It seems to center around Stifler a lot more, but as ever has more than it's fair share of memorable scenes for one reason or another.
4
American Pie Presents - Band Camp (2005,  R)
American Pie Presents - Band Camp
Ok but not as good as the previous versions.
5

Man of the House
I'm not sure about Tommy Lee Jones doing this type of comedy. He has to babysit a bunch of high maintenace cheerleaders after they witness a murder, who are more concerned about their make-up and dance moves. A silly comedy with a few laughs due to this pairing of total opposites.

This feels like quite a lot of other teen comedies that have been released over the last 7 years. This mainly mixes elemets from American Pie, Old School and 40 days 40 nights. This is a very good comedy horror in the vein of Shaun of the Dead, Severance. Funny, gory in places with a good sense of British humour about it too. If you liked the other films mentioned here this is worth checking out, good to see Andy Serkis in an unusual role and nice to see Jennifer Ellison. Even the DVD animated menus are refreshingly good!

130
Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008,  R)
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
I thought this was ok, after all the good reviews I was a little disappointed. It has it's moments but they are a little to few and far between and I'm not a big Russell Brand fan. Worth a watch but I have seen much better comedies recently. If you like this check out Good luck Chuck.
131
Superbad (2007,  R)
Superbad
Wow I must have missed something as I thought this was borderline ok, nothing special at all. Seeing all the 4*+ ratings and comparing it to American Pie has shocked me! The cops were the funniest thing about the film the rest was all very predictable as a bunch of nerds try to get some booze for a party so they can get a girl. Ok for a watch but far from a classic comedy for me.

136
The Devil Wears Prada (2006,  PG-13)
The Devil Wears Prada
A good film, although classed as a comedy there are not many laugh out moments. One more for the girls I guess or if you are really into fashion. An enjoyable film but it could have done with a better ending I thought.

A fairly funny comedy as Jack Black fills in as a substitute teacher at a posh school and teaches the kids how to rock. Has a few laughs but not overly funny.

How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003,  PG-13)
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days
A decent comedy as a girl tries to prove any girl can get a guy to ditch her, while the guy is out to prove he can get anyone to fall in love with him in 10 days. A few funny moments about the do's and don'ts of dating.

Two Weeks Notice (2002,  PG-13)
Two Weeks Notice
Straight forward Rom-com with a few chuckles. One for Sandra Bullock or Hugh Grant fans mainly.

The 40 Year Old Virgin (2005,  R)
The 40 Year Old Virgin
A pretty funny, light hearted sex comedy. It's not got the gross out humour of more recent comedies, you know the ones I mean! Overall quite a funny film for both sexes to enjoy.

Dr. Dolittle (1998,  PG-13)
Dr. Dolittle
Pretty poor overall with just a few funny moments. One more for the kids.

Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999,  PG-13)
Drop Dead Gorgeous
An enjoyable comedy about a beauty pageant in the style of a documentary. Has a great cast in their earlier years here. Has some very funny moments, quite a dark comedy overall not afraid to make fun of its self. Glad I got round to watching it.

Stripes (1981,  R)
Stripes
A pretty decent comedy with some good comedy actors on show. Silly story but quite funny, lighthearted overall.

The Break-Up (2006,  PG-13)
The Break-Up
A very funny Rom-com without being too soppy. A lot of funny scenes that both sexes should enjoy as a couple try to get back at each other over their break up. A film many will relate to as the plans to out do each other keep escalating all the time as neither want to leave their apartment. Have to say though I think Jennifer had a body double for the nude scene, well some of it! Similar to War of the roses, What happens in Vegas.
147
Without A Paddle (2004,  PG-13)
Without A Paddle
A pretty decent comedy with 3 strong actors in the main parts. Quite funny as 3 city boys look to embark on one of their childhood adventure ideas, setting off on a river trip that goes from bad to worse.
148
Little Miss Sunshine (2006,  R)
Little Miss Sunshine
A great little comedy about a dysfunctional family making a road trip to a beauty pageant. Along the way all sorts of bizarre things happen. A great feel good comedy film.

You, Me and Dupree (2006,  PG-13)
You, Me and Dupree
A sort of mix of a few ideas from a few more successful rom-coms I felt. Has a few funny moments and a strong cast who are from some good comedies. Worth a watch but not a patch on the likes of Meet the parents.

Bedazzled (2000,  PG-13)
Bedazzled
A pretty good goofy comedy as a nerdy guy gets 7 wishes, granted by the sexy devil Elizabeth Hurley, to win his dream girl over. However the wishes never quite turn out how he expected. Funny in places and Hurley does look quite hot in her outfits. Has it fair share of funny scenes.

John Tucker Must Die (2006,  PG-13)
John Tucker Must Die
A very good teen rom-com with a cool young cast. It has some good getting back at your ex jokes and scenes. Funnier than I thought it would be. A bit like Mean girls but on a lighter note.
152
Zoolander (2001,  PG-13)
Zoolander
A great cast....and very silly poor film. Not sure if it was aimed at kids but thats what it felt like. Only a few slightly funny scenes.
153
Groundhog Day (1993,  PG)
Groundhog Day
A decent enough comedy about living the same day over and over. Cool idea although the repetition does grate after a while. If you're a fan of Bill Murray and Harold Ramis comedies this is for you.

Sex Drive (2008,  R)
Sex Drive
Yes it's an in your face rude, crude teen sex comedy with a lot of nudity. If you're easy offended then you will be. It's pretty funny in places and just silly in others. However it comes across as a fun film that the cast enjoyed making. The unrated version of the film is quite odd to, as the director will tell you! Not quite up there with American Pie, Euro Trip etc but it should still cause quite a few laughs. That sure is an awesome car to!
155
East Is East (1999,  R)
East Is East
A funny film set in 70's Manchester as a Pakistani family have a culture clash between the parents and kids over traditional Muslim values and English culture. Not quite as funny as I thought it would be, quite serious towards the end but it was still funny see the kids trying to out smart their father. A lot of familiar faces from English TV star in this.

Sideways (2004,  R)
Sideways
A decent romantic comedy, life drama film. Two friends take a trip around some vineyards for wine tasting on a stag do week. Along the way they find out quite a lot about themselves. Pretty funny in places, a decent film.
