Black Snake Moan
I thought that was one of the most underated films of this year. It was very well done, I just think that most people didn't catch on to this brand of humor. Really can you tell me that there is anything hootter than Christina Ricci tied up with chains?

Hairspray (2007,  PG)
Hairspray
First off let me just say that this was the best film of the summer.

The cast and the film was amazing, John Travolta was fantastic as the mother.

I must have been dancing in my seat through the whole film.

this film has a good story, great music. and is hip to us younger viewers who may not have seen the original or the musical.

another great thing about this was that everyone sang their own music and they weren't lip syncing to another person. Go see this!!!!!!

I Know Who Killed Me (2007,  R)
I Know Who Killed Me
This had potential to be decently done. But whom ever was behind this film should be shot.

This film was just plain bad...

Lindsay lohan must've done her drugs to finish the making of it, I couldnt get over the fact that the casting was so so bad.

This was about a young college student that was brutal tortured and left for dead. The killer hant of her arm and leg and left her for dead. but when she wakes up at the hospital shes not who she was she wnt from being aubrey to Dakota flemming.

The fake leg and arm never even came close to being believable.

The strip club was whoreish and not al all classy or sexy.

When she gets abducted at the end it was not even scary, people were booing at the cinema with me.

The Tried to make it into an Crime/art film with all the music and lighting. but it was bleak and badly filmed. The Killer was such a wimp. Anyone could have gotten away.

Dont see this movie, Lindsay is a good actress who just has to get out of where she is.

Skip this one while you can!

Koroshiya 1 (Ichi the Killer) (2001,  R)
Koroshiya 1 (Ichi the Killer)
This is such a FUCKING great Horror film, its bloody, funny, sick, depraved, shovanistic film that I have ever seen, You just cant help but watch it.

I swear the Part where the guy cut his tounge off and the deaths were so over the top, I almost couldnt even believe the things that i saw, the scene with the hot grease, the lady getting her nipples cut off, the PINS THROUGH THE FACE.

this has a four star average on flixster and a 5star average with my friends! you wont want to miss this

Captivity (2007,  R)
Captivity
This movie is warped, extremely well done. It deffintely pushed the gore factor as far it could be push. Finally a sick and twisted film not to be missed

Hatchet (2006,  R)
Hatchet
I recently saw this film and I loved it. I am from NH, like the Director is, and really that was the only reason why I saw it in the first place.

It was very bloody, funny and highly amusing. Therese so many famous figure in the horror genre that i cant even name half of them.

Keep in mind that if your looking for a scarey film, its not a jump a moment film. but its still the best horror film of the year other than GRINDHOUSE

Night Junkies (2007,  R)
Night Junkies
I don't know why they list it as comming soon to DVD since I just bought my copy from amazon last week and received it 3days later. But heres my review...

I love love this film. I know the Director. Lawrence Pearce. He did an amazing job at making this independent film into a romantic vampire film with gorey moment at times. Its a bit B-Grade, but that doesnt mean anything. Its only a film for the die hard vampire lovers.

Keep in mind that its a love story too, but that doesnt hurt this film at all. It has a great sexy and well acting cast, amazing tunes to go along with the film too...

Death Proof (Grindhouse Presents) (2007,  R)
Death Proof (Grindhouse Presents)
I have to say that even though I was Dissapointed that they never released the GRINDHOUSE films like they did in the theater. But This Exstended version of Death Proof was amazing all on its own. It has the best cast of bad ass Bitches that were ever seen in film.

Planet Terror (Grindhouse Presents: Robert Rodriguez's Planet Terror) (2007,  R)
Planet Terror (Grindhouse Presents: Robert Rodriguez's Planet Terror)
Omfg I loved the newly extended cut of the first film of Grindhouse. it was a blast of campy fun and was a great throwback to the GRINDHOUSE films of the 70's. Rose McGowan will never look as sexy as she did in the opening credits of this movie,

Great cast, great direction and an amazing score, with spanish sound of the music, the over the top violence is too the point where it's not even gross because its so over the top that its almost comical.

I loved this and highly reccomend it, it comes out on DVD on the 16th!! Buy, or rent.

its on nabolister as a leaked download

Fido (2007,  R)
Fido
This was such an odd film. It reminded me of Pleasent ville combined with night of the living dead. its very orignal and deffinetly a cult film in the makings. I loved this film, I cant stop watching it on the weekends when i am bored

Josie and the Pussycats (2001,  PG)
Josie and the Pussycats
I am one of the few people that will defend this film, I am a huge fan of rosario dawson, rachel leigh cook and parker Posey are the stars of the fim, I like the whole Government trying to brainwash the youth of americal plot through pop music. and the soundtrack is great, the fact that they have the girl from letters to cleo singing in most of the soundtrack was good enough for me to purchase the CD too

Rise: Blood Hunter (2007,  R)
Rise: Blood Hunter
I know that you all heard my review when I did a review on the theatrical release of the film, but when I saw the unrated cut of the DVD iwas shocked at how much storyline they left out of theatrical version. I mean its 2hrs/2mins long on like the 95 min versionb. it give you more info on the characters and just how vendictive they were to her befopre they killled her. Also you as the audience find out that the detective's daughter is dead way before the main characters because theres more back story revealed in the unrated with and what happend that we never saw the first time around.

I love the casting in this too, Carla Gugino, James D'Arcy, Lucy Liu, Mako, Michael Chiklis, Samaire Armstrong Nick Lachey Marilyn Man son. Its an odd but great cast!

I Loved b both versions! Glad I saw and bought them you should too
