Working Girl (1988,  R)
Working Girl
I was surprised I liked this movie. I thought it would be a sappy chick flick. But it had a great story and characters. Harrison Ford has a limited role in the film but is excellent as always. Melanie Griffith did a great job in this film. And you can see a quick glimpse of a young David Duchovny in the closet surprising Melanie's character in the film. Sigourney Weaver plays the perfect bitchy boss. Overall with a good story and some laughs the film is worth a watch.

Red Shoe Diaries - The Movie
Not a movie I expected David Duchovny to star in. Could have been a better film. More of a soft porn movie.

Kalifornia (1993,  R)
Kalifornia
Brad Pitt as a psyhco redneck! This was a good film. David Duchovny and Brad Pitt both do a great job in this film.

Playing God (1997,  R)
Playing God
A decent film. David Duchovny was good in this. And Angelina Jolie was also good in this. Timothy Hutton played a great villain. Not a great amount of action but the story and characters are what I found to make this a good movie.

The X-Files - Fight the Future (1998,  PG-13)
The X-Files - Fight the Future
A great movie for a great television show. The X-Files is my all time favorite show from television. And this movie lived up to my expectations. Gillian Anderson and David Duchovnyare both excellent as usual as Scully and Mulder. A great Sci-fi mystery film. Though if you never watched the show then you may be confused by this film. One of my all time favorite films.

Return to Me (2000,  PG)
Return to Me
A solid romance film that I enjoyed. David Duchovny and Minnie Driver both are good in this and have chemistry in the film. With a decent story and characters made for a entertaining film. Some funny and sad moments through out the film. What I expected. Worth checking out.

Evolution (2001,  PG-13)
Evolution
This is no Ghostbusters but Ivan Reitman brings us a decent sci-fi comedy. Basically a meteor lands on earth and then alien lifeforms and plant life begin to grow in a small town. The film has a fun story with some laughs. The film has great F/X throughout and some decent action scenes. Plus the film has a great cast with David Duchovny, Orlando Jones, Julianne Moore, Seann William Scott and Dan Aykroyd. The film story is not meant to be taken serious and is just a fun watch.

House of D (2004,  PG-13)
House of D
A film that was directed and stars David Duchovny. Also has Robin Williams, Tea Leoni and Erykah Badu in this. About a man who travels back to his old home when he was a child to reconnect whith old friends and to close a chapter from his past. A alright story with some interesting characters. The film had a odd flow to it at times. Plus I expected something much better from Duchovny and Williams. Worth maybe a one time watch if your fans of these actors.

Queer Duck - The Movie (2006,  Unrated)

The Secret (Si j'étais toi) (2007,  Unrated)
The Secret (Si j'étais toi)
This is a interesting film. Basically about a husband, wife and their teenage daughther. The mother dies in a car accident and her spirit/soul has taken over her daughter's body. The film has strong acting from David Duchovny and Olivia Thirlby. The story is odd at times but also very interesting. The husband and the mother trapped in her daughter's body learn many things about their daughter's life. The film overall was a neat idea and done well. Worth a one time watch.

The TV Set (2007,  R)
The TV Set
A comedy and a drama about a writer trying to get his vision and story on television. But he of course encounters problems from the producers to the actors. The film is full of funny moments and also full of serious scenes. David Duchovny is excellent as the writer trying to get his vision of the show for television. Sigourney Weaver is excellent as the producer who does not seem to be in touch with the real world. Ioan Gruffud, Frank Kranz, Lindsay Sloane and Judy Greer also are quite good in their roles. The film is a fun watch and worth checking out.
