Good action, clever sight gags, interesting complications and goes all out on bat with batmania. The acting is uniformly impressively improbable of the 1960s.

Faye Dunaway makes a wonderfully campy villainess and Helen Slater is okay as a superheroine.

The Return of Swamp Thing (1989,  PG-13)
The Return of Swamp Thing
The suit of Swamp Thing looked better than the original and also the actions of the human-vegetable hero.

This fellowing DC Comics' temporary demise of Superman, new heroes were created to protect Metropolis is fine. Watchable with explosive special effects.

27
Constantine (2005,  R)
Constantine
Incredible supernatural thriller based on characters from the DC Comics/Vertigo 'Hellblazer'. Keanu Reeves did great job as demon hunter where he should stop all hell onto an apocalyptic war.
28
Batman Begins (2005,  PG-13)
Batman Begins
Two thumbs way up! Fantastic. This new Batman film is getting more thrill and darkier.
29

Terrific story which follows from based on a graphic novel about the freedom and revenge of an anit-hero.
30
Superman Returns (2006,  PG-13)
Superman Returns
Incredible adventure story like the memory from the original Superman (1978). Newcomer Brandon Routh was excellent as the new title role.
31
The Dark Knight (2008,  PG-13)
The Dark Knight
Unbelievable! Magnificent! Superb action of a superhero based on DC Comics with wonderful emotionally, excitement (possibility madness), memories and little funny of the characters in the comic book. Batman's next arch-enemy is The Joker, and Heath Ledger - smeared in the grotesquerie of punk-rock clown make-up, scarred with a self-inflicted demonic smile and schlupping his words with the sickly sound of a man who's tasted the bile of all humanity - has transformed him into one of movie's most spectacular villians.
Christian Bale, Aaron Eckhart, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Gary Oldman make their amazing performances in the Dark Knight's characters. As Harvey Dent before becoming Two-Face, Eckhart's face looked more scarier than Tommy Lee Jones in Batman Forever, excellent special make-up.
And Ledger's performance is more spectacular than Jack Nicholson in 1989's Batman as The Joker.

Watchmen (2009,  R)
Watchmen
Spectacular! It should be a MA-rated (in America - R-rated) superheroes movie, not for children. This is how Alan Moore made the story of a universe of costumed crime fighters might actually work. Here, though, there is dark satire: Batman (now Nite Owl) can't get it up, impotent without his suit on; Wonder Woman (now Silk Spectre) carries the mountain of her mother's guilt (a previous Silk Spectre marooned in old-age); Superman (now Dr. Manhattan) is possessed with such powers he takes on the unreachable guise of a god. Best of all, there is Phillip Marlow or Sam Spade (now Rorschach), with his do-or-die morality and city-of-the-damned voiceover, the most hideously human of the bunch.
Zack Snyder appears to have been the right choice to take the job. 300 proved that he has an eye for visuals and knows how to adapt a graphic novel as faithful to its source as possible, but faithfulness and nice pictures don't necessarily make for a good movie.
Patrick Wilson makes a perfect performance as Dan Dreiberg/Nite Owl. And I'm sure everyone will secretly fall in love with Silk Spectre II (Malin Akerman) because she looks really sexy. The suits have been beautifully changed wherever necessary and also have the right effect. The Minutemen look kinda stupid, which is perfect for the superhero parody element of the book.
The special effects are really good, Dr. Manhattan looks awesome, Mars looks like you expect Mars to look and Rorschach's mask remains fun to see from start to finish. A giant, hairless blue man with it all hanging out, he comes care of a mo-capped Billy Crudup that's about 70 per cent successful - much better in close-up than the distracting mid-shots dominated by his blurry-blue CG cock.
