Twin Falls Idaho (1999, R)
First feature film by the Polish brothers, which was not quite as good as I expected. The film revolves around a sad theme and is very moving. The Polish brothers have the best cinematography around, but the direction lagged just a bit. The pace of the film needed to be faster. |

One of the most visually beautiful movies I have ever seen. The cast could not have been better selected. The Polish brothers (Michael & Mark) have written the gem of the century with Northfork. The movie is filled with symbolism and some of the most delightful dialogue ever filmed. This is a must see for any true movie buff. For others, it may not impress. Watch with an open mind and an open heart... |

The Astronaut Farmer (2006, PG)
A warm and uplifting film about hopes, dreams and the will to not give up on them... The Polish brothers have put together another winning film and this one comes complete with Hollywood backing. This is a family film and very enjoyable. Billy Bob is just perfect as Farmer. If you're a child of the 60's and 70's, you will love the rocket! |
