Les Mistons (1958,  Unrated)
Les Mistons
A charming short. Worth watching if you get the chance.
2
Les Quatre Cents Coups (The 400 Blows) (1959,  Unrated)
Les Quatre Cents Coups (The 400 Blows)
The final scene alone is a work of art.
3
Jules and Jim (1962,  Unrated)
Jules and Jim
Fantastic. My favourite of Truffaut's films and Jeanne Moreau's finest role.
4
Tirez sur le pianiste (Shoot the Piano Player) (1960,  Unrated)
Tirez sur le pianiste (Shoot the Piano Player)
Another one of Traffaut's greats, although sometimes overlooked. A clever and funny film.

Baisers Volés (Stolen Kisses) (1968,  R)
Baisers Volés (Stolen Kisses)
The third in Traffaut's semi-autobiographical series following the life of Antoine Dionel. The first time the character hit the screens was in the 1959 masterpiece The 400 Blows. Stolen Kisses sees Antoine now as a young man and follows him in his journey into adulthood. This does not compare to The...(read more) 400 Blows, but is still an entertaining and thoughtful piece of cinema. There are some lovely scenes in this film such as the breakfast scene with Antione and Christine, and also some rather comedic scenes.
Overall, not as though provoking as The 400 Blows but highly watchable and entertaining.
6
Domicile Conjugal (Bed & Board) (1970,  PG)
Domicile Conjugal (Bed & Board)
The penultimate film in Traffaut's Antoine Doinel series. This follows on from Stolen Kisses. Antione and Christine are now married and quickly have a child. Antoine starts a new job and falls for a beautiful Japanese woman.
Both Jean-Pierre Leaud and Claude Jade put in great performances and the film is filled with humorous dialogue.
7
L'Amour en fuite (Love on the Run) (1978,  PG)
L'Amour en fuite (Love on the Run)
The final part in the story of Antoine Doinel. I enjoyed the flashbacks, mainly the Antoine and Colette ones as its the only part in the series I have yet to see. Overall a nice way to end the story of Antoine Doinel.

Le Dernier Métro (The Last Metro) (1980,  PG)
Le Dernier Métro (The Last Metro)
A good Traffaut film with strong performances from Deneuve and Depardieu.

Vivement dimanche! (Finally, Sunday)(Confidentially Yours) (1983,  PG)
Vivement dimanche! (Finally, Sunday)(Confidentially Yours)
Truffaut's final film and also his tribute to Hitchcock. Appropriately shot in black and white this is a great Neo-Noir. An entertaining film that kept me interested throughout, a nice end to Truffaut's career.
