1
The Godfather (1972,  R)
The Godfather
i made him a offer he couldent refuse, classic dialogue, superb looking, deserves everything good thats said about it, in pacino, a star was discovered, even though godfather 2 is arguably better, it doesent work unless you got benefit of this first chapter, seeing a inocent young man come into a family of crime, is superbly done, brando, superb, also duvall, keaton and cann, all great, and the score, just haunting
2
The Godfather, Part II (1974,  R)
3
Apocalypse Now (1979,  R)
Apocalypse Now
the redux version, adds so much more depth to film and charactors, more sheen, brando, duvall, and hopper, and great scenes, of madness, this is the version coppala intended us to see, even if he admits theres more apocolypse now still in him
4
The Conversation (1974,  PG)
The Conversation
shot between godfather 1and 2, by coppola, a passion project for him, hackman stars as a sound rec ordist, the best at his job, getting drawn in to a murder plot, when he feels hes being watched, things get very paranoid, hackman is exellent, very withdrawn charactor, agreat 70s film, typical of that decade
5
Tucker: The Man and His Dream (1988,  PG)
Tucker: The Man and His Dream
cppola, brings a dream of his to the screen, and in bridges a great portrayal f business man tucker, a great look at a time gone by

New York Stories (1989,  PG)
New York Stories
three directors woody allen, francais ford coppola, and martain scorsese, do short films, celebrating newyork, coppollas is a mess, scorseses okay, but very stylish, but woody allen saves the day, with his short, about a typical newyork jewish guy, and his over bearing mother, who starts to apear in the sky, running his life, very funny, showing the woody humour, so not a complete disaster, allen and scorsese showing potential with theres, just miss copplas and a good one hour viewing will be had
13
One From The Heart (1982,  Unrated)
One From The Heart
COPPOLAS follow up, after apcolypse now, a drama much influenced by studio pictures of the past, a bit f a misfire, but showing enough of copollas spirit, to what he anted to do

Youth Without Youth (2007,  R)
Youth Without Youth
francis ford coppolas follow up to 1997 rainmaker, and a bit of a dull return, although tim roth comes off ok in this, playing a 88 year old transfomed into a youthful 40 year old, with various groups trying to get piece of him and his mind, a passion project for coppola, and it shows, just a shame theres nothing memorable in here, and after a ten year wait from the director of the godfather trilogi, conversation, and apocolypse now, a disapointment, it does look great though,
20
You're a Big Boy Now (1966,  Unrated)
