Robin Hood (1973,  G)
Robin Hood
The best animated film ever made. this film is underrated and seldom considered but it is so well presented. the music was perfect and the characters more fun than any in animated film history.
2
The Incredibles (2004,  PG)
The Incredibles
This story could not have been written any better. Perfect super hero movie.
3
Pinocchio - Walt Disney (1940,  G)
Pinocchio - Walt Disney
i hadnt seen this film in 20 years, and on this viewing i was reminded why this is possibly the most magical, characterisitc, and influential disney film ever made. the first great childrens morality tale to hit film, there are so many epic moments. one of the great animated films in history.
4
Toy Story 2 (1999,  G)
Toy Story 2
one of the best animated films of all time, and one of the few sequels better than the first.

underrated, a really good animated movie, funny for adults appropriate for kids. one of my favorite disney movies ever.
7
Disney's Aladdin (1992,  G)
Disney's Aladdin
one of the best animated films. the animation was great, this film is the reason i would like film makers not to get too cought up in the computer animation. rather that ditch this traditional style, both should be used. this is a great movie.
8
The Jungle Book (1967,  PG)
The Jungle Book
brought us a classic like talespin, one of the best disney films.
9
The Lion King (1994,  G)

Lilo & Stitch
the story is awsome and sad, tough to watch but worth it
12
Cars (2006,  G)
Cars
could have been terrible, really fun movie to watch
13
Meet the Robinsons (2007,  G)
Meet the Robinsons
disney pulls of another really good movie. they pretty much never flop. my 2 year old son watched this twice the morning we got it and the entire time he watched it i kept realizing how inviting it was to kids like him while having a complex story line for adults like me. great storyline and cool plot twists at the end. i liked this movie alot.
14
Up (2009,  PG)
Up
pixar delivers another incredibly strong film with their 10th movie. im not convinced they will ever make a bad film. while not quite as good as my top 4 or so pixar films, its better than pixars last two films by a long shot and delivers an opening 15 minute sequence that is one of the most effective and touching 15 minute stretches i have ever seen on film. the rest of the film is also effective in its own way and despite the need to suspend disbelief in a number of areas the film really delivers. after pixars last two films where they got too creative for their own good and left many kids bored and a bit confused, they got back to making great childrens entertainment with this film that parents will also love. a great film.
15
The Great Mouse Detective (1986,  G)
The Great Mouse Detective
great disney, one of the best
16
The Sword in the Stone (1963,  G)
The Sword in the Stone
great disney flick, one of their best
17
Peter Pan (1953,  G)
Peter Pan
magical, good showing of great story
18
Ratatouille (2007,  G)
Ratatouille
this was a great movie. delightful to watch and very creative. disney and pixar do a great job of coming up with original stories like this. it wasnt one of my favorite pixar films because i felt that at points it just wasnt interesting enough, but it was warm and fun. brad bird is a great animated director, probably the best there is currently in hollywood.
19
Mulan (1998,  G)
Mulan
very good, underrated disney classic
20
WALL-E (2008,  G)
WALL-E
another really good flick from disney/pixar. these guys make nothing but really good movies. this was one of my least favorite pixar flicks, due to an ending that sort of fell flat and the fact that wall-e was the only really strong character in the entire film, but much of the animation was solid and the film had a charm to it that many films aim for and few accomplish. overall a great addition to the pixar filmography.
21
The Black Cauldron (1985,  PG)
The Black Cauldron
the horned king is the scariest animated villian of all time, this movie was sweet
22
A Bug's Life (1998,  G)
A Bug's Life
very good, has some hilarious outtakes at the end
23
The Rescuers (1977,  G)
The Rescuers
great disney family fun
24
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937,  G)
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
without question snow white deserves a ton of respect for being the first great animated film, and more than that, for being really good. having said that i think that its status is a bit over played as people seem to forget how shallow the film is. even disney's next couple of films had deeply moving messages, while snow white was more of the classic fairytale in its most generic form. a monumental film that is larger than life, but should be seen as more of a stepping stone than one of the best animated films.
25
Tarzan (1999,  G)
Tarzan
done very well with a great story. the red elephant was strange, but the movie was fun to watch and the music was great.
26
Fun & Fancy Free (1947,  G)
Fun & Fancy Free
disneys ninth animated classic is one of five strait disney classics that bring together animated shorts rather than one feature length story. although the bongo story is worthwhile it is obviously the mickey and the beanstalk story that makes this a repeatable film. a classic tale.
27
Finding Nemo (2003,  G)
Finding Nemo
really good, perfect color
28
Treasure Planet (2002,  PG)
Treasure Planet
i loved this movie, creative and entertaining
29
Make Mine Music (1946,  Unrated)
Make Mine Music
disneys 8th classic film, this is a collection of shorts, many featuring music and others featuring childrens stories with narration. willie the whale is the gem of the film, but the other shorts are very creative and the film has a suprise with a great jazz piece by benny goodman. the film is painfully slow, but it was made more for the expression of creativity than for the entertainment value. good picture.
30
The Aristocats (1970,  G)
The Aristocats
pretty cool disney flick. when is disney ever bad
31
The Rescuers Down Under (1990,  G)
The Rescuers Down Under
classic, love those rescuers
32
Lady and the Tramp (1955,  G)
Lady and the Tramp
of course another good disney flick
33
The Fox and the Hound (1981,  G)
The Fox and the Hound
disney classic but the ending should have gone different
34
Beauty and the Beast (1991,  G)
Beauty and the Beast
the only animated film to ever be nominated for best picture. a cinema classic and solid film, not one of my disney favorites but definitely a film that captured a generation of kids.
35
Alice in Wonderland (1951,  G)
Alice in Wonderland
what? i guess you have to be on acid.
36
Bambi (1942,  G)
Bambi
more great stuff from disney, thumper is tight
37
The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (1949,  G)
The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad
it had been years since i had seen this but revisiting it with my kids was a lot of fun. the ichabod story is a classic kids spooky film and the mr. toad story is a strong enough compliment.
38
Pocahontas (1995,  G)
Pocahontas
decent, disney is always solid
39
101 Dalmatians (One Hundred and One Dalmatians) (1961,  G)
101 Dalmatians (One Hundred and One Dalmatians)
a classic, cruela is wicked and those pups are good times
40
Dumbo (1941,  G)
Dumbo
slow but still classic, one for the ages
41
Bolt (2008,  PG)
Bolt
a really fun and touching disney story. the beginning tracked like a 4 star effort and then the film hit a wall about half way through that it never recovered from, but it was still a good family film with a touching ending. must see if you have kids.
42
Dinosaur (2000,  PG)
Dinosaur
a well made disney film that is great for the family. the story is a little weaker than what i have come to expect from disney, but it is solid none the less.
43
Atlantis - The Lost Empire (2001,  PG)
Atlantis - The Lost Empire
pretty fun movie. i didnt think i would like this film but i did, definitely worth the watch.
44
Brother Bear (2003,  G)
Brother Bear
decent, down for disney but still good
45
Oliver & Company (1988,  G)
Oliver & Company
oliver is my dogg. get it, play on words. anyway, good family classic
46
Cinderella (1950,  G)
Cinderella
disney classic, i love those mice
47
Sleeping Beauty (1959,  G)
Sleeping Beauty
its been a while since i saw this one, so id like to watch it again, but i remember it being a very quality film that was great for little girls. it deserves respect for being well made but its outside of my enjoyment category.
48
Chicken Little (2005,  G)
Chicken Little
completely average. although its not a bad flick, i still see this as a down point for disney because they are so consistently above average. i laughed a few times and my kids love it, but the story was much weaker than disney usually puts out.
