what a movie. i watched it because my friend pinky as me too. omg, excellent movie/ the actors and story line were amazing. this is a must see. the movie is basically a drama romance between charlize and stuart characters and when penelope cruz character walks into their lives, there is no turning back.

elvira, the mistress of the dark decides she wants to live in surburan city but the rest of the neighborhood does not really want her around. it is a great comedywith e great ending.

A MUST SEE.

this movie is super funny. it is the story of three daughters who parents decide to divorced after several years of marriage. here is the problem, the youngest daughter is very rebelious, the oldest has settled in her ways. the middle child tries to define her life by her mother. so it is shocking when their mother declares that she has decided to have a new relationship with a woman. it has a much of twists and turns. really funny movie. i am not sure if it has english substitles. but it is worth the watching.

thi is a low budget film.but i found it to me funny plus it is filmed in miami, which in my books is a plus. it is a typical storyline, guy is going out with three different women and one day they all meet each other and get together to take revenge on the guy. all the actors are known latin actors. but the movie is entertaining. like a friend of mine once said, it is like candy for the eyes.

omg, this is a great film. it is british. based on a true story. what it is about is a man who has a shoe factory in london. things are going bad for him, production slow. he meets this drag queen who figure out a way of wearing stalletos boots. they work out a plan together and then started production of the first of its kind for stalleto boots for drag queens. it is a very funny and caring movie. i highly recommended.

this is a great foreign film. the story is more of a lost love than anything else but the music, the graphics, the customs, everything. it is a long movie, about 3 hours long. but i do recommended it.

this is a great moive, but you have to have an open minded. it is a story based in the early 1960's, a girl is caught making out with another girl, so her parents send her to this reformed school where they teach you how not to like people of your own sexuality. it is a black comedy but really really funny.

what a great movie. i am not sure who recommended me this to watch it, but i love it. it is what st. elmo's fire did in the 1980's, is what beautiful gilrs did in the 90's. and how funny it is that ally sheedy works in both films. the storyline is a group of friends get together in 1996 to go to their 10th yr high school reunion (which is funny to me because my 10th yr high school reunion was in 1996), and it is the turmoil how some of them are married, some still playing the field and some just dont want to leae their high school dazes because it was the best ones they ever had. the cast is great. a lot of well known actors, younger. THIS IS A MUST SEE. a bit of a chick flick but great anyways.

excellent forgien film. i am not sure if it has substitles, i can not remember. but this film is awesome, it is about a young couple who husband's brother decides that he wants the same happiness that his brother shares with his wife for himself. i really enjoyed this movie.

this is an english film. yes please no kids in the room for this one. it is a basic story about two people who hook up, have adventures, and enjoy themselves until one of them had to leave. sort of 9 1/2 weeks movie style.

ok, i know a lot of people hated this movie. but i did not think it was that bad. it is filmed in italy, so at least the shots of the country are great. the storyline is a group of friends go on a sailboat ride, they are kidnapped and escape except for madonna. she is high class and is forced and manipulated to come down to reality. at the end she falls in love with her capturer, but does she stays with him or chooses to go back to the life she is accustomed to. you be your own judge on this one. it is the first movie she started in that her husband produced.

talk about a chick flick./ this is one of the ultimate. this is where i found out about the passion purple roses. the movie is a whole box of tissues. it is romantic story with too many twists. uncertaining, and doubtfulness. a great, great movie.

this is an awesome movie. it is italian with substitles in english. it is about a housewife who is bored with her life. so she decides one day to take a tour. when the bus is about to leave one of the stops, she decides to stay behind. she gets herself a job, an apartment and starts to live a new life. meanwhile her family has to struggle on how to live without a mother who cooked, cleans and kept the house neat. question, would she go back to her boring life? or does she stay in her new life? it is an excellent movie, a must see.

i am not one to watch latin novelas (soap operas) but i got so hooked on this one, i even made pinky get me the series. it has everything drama, suspense, vixens, goodies girls,. the men are hot, the women beautiful. it comes with english substitles. the different between english adn spanish soap operas, spanish only last a few months while americans lasts 10, 20 or 30 yrs.

this is a made for tv series on the life of marilyn monroe. ashley judd plays the early marilyn and mira sorvino the older marilyn. the movie is very well made, good actors and characters, and even though we all know what happen to her, it is still a good story to tell. I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IT.

excellent movie. a widower has money, it is right around the time of wwII and she does not know how to send it. so she buys a theater, hired a foreman played by bob hoskins and starts giving shows. but the shows are nothing out of the ordinary so she convists the lord in england which is were the story is based on, to have a bit more adult like shows. the women take off their tops but still under a silotee. it is actually a very good movie based on a true story. great actors, and storyline. A MUST SEE.

i loved this movie. it is a spike lee production, so if you dont like the way he does films, this movie is not for you. but i love it. i also like the fact that as adam sandler does, spike lee also hired his friends actors to start in the film.
the storyline is about an african american vice president of a pharamacist company who is make an escapegoat for the falling of the company he works for. so his ex-financee finds out about it and makes him a propostition to father her lesbian lover and hers baby. it is a drama in its self, but it has alot of twists and turns. there is partial nudity and organized crime involved. but overall i could not stop the dvd, had to watch it all. I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

ok, if youa re like me who loves 1960's fun in the sun kind of movies. this is one of them. its stars annette funicello and dwayne hickman. it is the story about this girl who wears a yellow bikini around the beach and drives all the boys crazy. there surfing, dancing, great 60's music, it is filmed at the beach. nt really for little kids but if you can get your teens to watch it with you, it is worth it.

this is funny mexican movie with spanish substitles about a college studen who's visa runs out and can not pay for school, so she decides to become a surrogate mother to a wealthy couple, but then she loves in love with another student and has to explain the situation. it is entertaining and funny.

this is a very powerful movie. it is spanish with english subtitles. it is the story of a woman who becomes the queen of spain. she ends up married someone she does not love and her husband and everyone else tries all they can to get her overthrown. she has lovers, it not able to bear children to a much older age, and it shows one woman;'s struggle to define herself and her country. very well made. A MUST SEE.

talk about a kiss butt movie. whether you like jennifer lopez or not ( i do like her), this movie is great. it is about an abused mother with child who has had enough and gets tough and gets to after a period of time her revenge for all the years of abusded. it is a very strong movie. its a drama, but you will cheer,. and cry and maybe just maybe want to jump at the screen and beat the guy up youRself. I HAVE IN MY COLLECTION, A MUST SEE.

another great movie with a great actress. julia roberts. it is a classic thriller about a woman who has to fake her death to get away from an abusing husband. but once the husband tracks her down, what does she have to do to finally start living a normal life. A MUST SEE. I OWN THIS MOVIE. GREAT.

this is an excellent movie. omg. i was so surprised. it is a story of a girl in puerto rico who father is a famous ballet dancer and insturctor who is wheelchair stricken as he aged. his wife turned into an alcoholic due to the pressure of taking care of her husband. her father commits suicide and amaryllis campos decides to leave the island for a better life. once she arrives in nyc she befriends her neighbor and has to start stripping to make ends meet. she then meets and starts dating one of the regular customers. when he asks her to go to australia with him, does she choose to go? or does she stay to follow her dreams of being a ballet dancer just like her father? and what ever happen to her mother back in puerto rico?
the film is really well made. it is of adult nature, so please no children around. but i found it to be very entertaining. A MUST SEE. and the film is in english.

omg. what a movie. a thriller, it has more twists than a twister candy. it was awesome from the minute it started until it ended. bruce willis and halle berry do an incredible job. the movie starts off one way and ends up a totally different way. it is nail biting, once you think you figure out the movie, it switches it around again. what a great movie, but one you really have to pay attention to. the person i saw it with did not get the end of the movie, at all. but i thought it was great. the actors and storyline were great. pretty much it is a story about how some people have the power to change or alter some of lives events and even though they do anyways happen, sometimes it can be else hurtful and painful. i do recommended the movie but you do have to give yourself time to be able to pay attention to it.

i really liked this movie. if you like molly shannon from snl, or if you really love dogs, you will get a kick out of this independent film. it is great. it will make you laugh, cry, and go with the storyline. i honestly dont want to say too much about the film, i rather you all just watched it. besides molly shannon, there are other actors from snl fame also.

this was a good movie about three sisters who have to take care of their dying father. the three sisters are totally different and it makes for a heart-warming story about dealing with a father who has altzhemier disease(mental illness). the moive will make you laugh, major box tissue cry but overall it is a good movie. i have it in my dvd collection.

i love this movie. it is a foreign film. made in spain, filmed in cuba. it has english substitles but i honestly dont think you will not really appreciate it unless you at least understand spanish. the film is made incredibly well , it is black and white with a hint of color is either an object, a place, a person. the story is based and has humor in it. it is about a girl who parents are trying to get her a visa to come to the u.s. bewhile, she is stuck in havana working for the post office. she gets bored with her job so one day she accidently slips coffee on a letter, and decides to take the envelope home to dry it and try to clean the letter. she decides that the letter is not exactly as created as it should be, so she decides to rewrite the letter. this starts an obsessions with rewriting letters, but at the post office where she works they get a new surpervisor who is out to get her. she then befriends the post office courier to help her in her mission. the turning point is when her visa comes through and she has to choose between the love she has developed with the courier and stay in cuba or leave and reunited with her family in the u,.s.
i really enjoy this movie and netflix has it to rent.

if you enjoy movies like the swimfan, crush. you will enjoy this movie. it is about the same concept. there is a jock who girlfriend wont put out, so while she is away one weekend, his paths crosses with molly ringwald character. molly ringwald plays an awesome villian, totally evil. a slight r rating for slight nudity, so please no kiddies around. but overall it is entertaining.

excellent, excellent, excellent movie. written by andrew and elisabeth shue is it a story that hits close to real family of the shue family before they became actors and followed a different path,. in fact the movie is dedicated to one of their brothers william shue who was a professional soccer player. the movie storyline is pretty simply. it is a story of a girl who grows up in a housewhole full of brothers and everyone plays soccer. but when her older brother tragically dies, she states to the family that she wants to play soccer and since her high school does not have a women soccer team she wants to play with the guys. of course not everyone is in favor of this happening including her father, but through the development of the movie, most change their minds. the movie is based around the late 1970's. this you see in the clothing worn, the cars driven and music played. it is a great movie and can be watching both by adults and teenagers.

excellent, excellent, excellent movie. angelina jolie did a great job protraiting marianne pearl. the movie is very well written and acted. a lot of talk, so you need to pay attention. very dry and to the point. i really did not see oscar performance from jolie but it was still great to see her in a dramatic role. she is very versal and does well in whatever character she is performing. the storyline is based on the true story of daniel pearl who was kidnapped and killed in pakistan, while being a journalist and trying to show both sides of the stories in that country. i hightly recommended this movie.

ok people. this was not the greatest movie in the world but it was not as bad as the critics said it was. ok so the second time around, starts sort of the first way as the first one. catherine tramell and her lover for the moment are doing nasty things while she is driving, they go off the bridge and instead of her helping the guy, she only saves herself. then the movie starts, the movie reflexs a bit on the original, but there is no girl on girl action, the ice pick only comes out once, there are no insinuating scenes in the police department, it is much tamer than the first one. in fact that is why probably the criticts did not like it. it is more of a movie, than the first one. while the first one messed up with fantasies and brains, this one just messes up with your brain. but i think it was worth the viewing. i do recommended it but please no kiddies in the room, the movie is still based on r rating.

spanish film with enligh substitles. it is a story of an angel send from heaven and one send from hell to save the soul of a bozxer who is about to die. the angels are to work against each other to see what the boxer ends up doing. but through a few twists and turns the story plot changes and then all hell breaks loose. heaven is judtisfy as being like in paris and hell like the inside of a prison. gael garcia bernal also co-stars as the evil himself. the movie has a great soundstrack, it is done in enligh, spanish and french. it is easy to understand and stay with it. it is entertaining and worth the rental. i highly recommended.

gary marshall directed the movie, and it has a great cast/ it is a check flick but it is a drama with all its whistles. the movie is intitled GEORGIA RULES because Jane Fonda character is georgia and in her house she rules. the movie deals with very serious manners but it is heartwarming at a few scenes. i did enjoy watching it.

what a movie. what an amazing movie. first of all the director must had a thing for the movie WORKING GIRL with melanie griifin because the movie is quoted all over this movie and the main song is played over and over again. also the director must have something for carly simon because besides the fact that all her songs are in the movie she also makes a cameo role at the end. the movie is awesome. it is a about a girl (brittany murphy) who goes to work at a local talk show , something like jerry springer, but in the movie the talk show host is kathy bates. and holly hunter plays the producer that hires murphy as her assistant. when looking for new material, they come across murphy' boyfriend little balck book and murphy decides to investigate his past relationships to see if she really is with the right guy. big, huge mistake, wehile she starts to untwist the live of her boyfriend, she ends up changing the lives of his ex and hers. the ending is a bit surprising. this movie made me laugh, cry, be angry . overall it is an excellent comedy romance and it is worth seeing and owning. it is a chick flick but then again i am a woman so why would i not love it.

what an amazing movie. it is a bit old, both michael douglas and melanie griffin were young actors, but what a movie. it is a thriller drama with a twisted of romance. it is about the man who hires a secretary to work with him during world war 2 in getting translating german documents. when the stakes get high and undercover is needed the secretary volunteers to going under germany to get the information regarding their plans on attack for the united states. the movie is great. kept me focused until the end.

what an amazing documentary. david stenn is a very determine young mman who besides being a great screen writer is also a determine man to come out and find the real girl 27 and relate with now-a-days lawyers and see what would had happen if the case was tired today. it is amazing how such a large movie corporation like MGM was able to coverup a rape of a dancer in 193 and was able to buy out everyone involved including the girl's family. it is uplifting and sad documentary but very realitizist. aq must see especially if you love true life documentaries.

excellent chick flick. i rented this movie just because and i was shocking by how much i love this movie. i am in my 40's and have a group of friends (women) who are also getting into their 40's, this is a freindship movie ultimate. it is the story of three successful women in london that when one of them falls for a way younger man the jealously of the others might or might not come in between the relationship. this movie is very well written and acted. it will make you laugh, cry and be thankful for friends. it is a feel good movie with a twist. it touches some hard subjects but overall it is very tender. i hightly recommended this movie.

great chick flick. one in my collection. how cool is it, your life is coming apart, so for the xmas holidays you decide to switch houses with someone in england lets say. live in their home, take care of their things. and along the way meet someone special to spend the time with. i love this movie and it had great actors.

excellent movie. what THE HOLIDAY did for romantic comedy is what TARA ROAD does for drama. the plot is the same two women from different countries swap their homes foe a time being. in holiday it was two weeks around christmas vacation, in tara road is for two months. one is from ireland the other from america. one lost her son in a freak accident the other one's marriage is falling apart. but that the end they each help each other to overcome their differences and tragedies. it is very well written and acted. i highly recommended this movie.

this movie looks like it was made for the lifetime channel. and to tell you the truth i am not sure why the lifetime channel would not play this movie. the storyline and actors play it very well. the story is basic: what happens when your only daughter starts high school and realized that she does not like boys the same way as other girls do but she is attracted to girls instead. this is an excellent movie to watch with your teenagers as long as you have an open minded and have not been stereotyped by society.

what an excellent movie this turned out to be. lately i really have not liked what jodie foster has been starring in, i am glad this movie changed my mind about her again. the movie has action, drama, romance, volence, and a sort of morbit happy ending. i dont want to say much because i rather you watch the movie. excellent movie which probably has been told a million times before, as in RAISING HELEN to stated one pretty recently. sarah sister dies and she has to take care of her 3 nieces and 2 nephews that come from an amish town and had to go to live in chicago. there is a change of society, life and the ending is very sweet.

yes i went on friday and stood in line with my girlfriends for an hour and half waiting for this movie to start. and the showing we went to at 9:40pm, there were maybe 7 guys in the theatre. but here is the kicker. i have never watched the show on hbo nor on tbs. i had heard about it in bits and pieces but never got hook on it like others. so going in with an extremely open mind, i was surprising in that the movies first of all is long. 2 hours 15 minutes. and it involves the lives of these four friends. women who are very different but pals for a long time and throughout the movie this is tested time and time again. the fashion is outragesses, but the actors and screenplay was very nicely done. for what i hear the show was just as explitched and the movie was. yes it is a chick flick, 1000%, but there are scenes in the movie which are very equal to both genders. this movie will make you cry, laugh, get angry and rejoice what friendships are really all about. i can not wait now to start renting the seasons from netflix. the cool thing about the movie, it ended giving way to other sequels. I TRULY RECOMMENDED THIS FILM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

excellent movie, and even though it is suppose to be fiction to a certain point, there is some truth at the very end of the movie. the movie is very well acted, has an excellent cast, the customes and scenery is to die for and the plot itself is very twisted. i highly recommended this movie.

what an amazing movie. this is the true story of the author of the peter rabbits children books. rene zellweger does a remarkable portait of miss potter. based in the englands backgrounds this movie is very family orentited, it is extremely well made and thus some parts are sad, it is a very entertaining movie for the whole family. i highly recommended this film.

this was such a cute cute story. it is very entertaining and should be watched by the whole family. the storyline is christina ricci PENELOPE is born with a cursed that had been pasted on her family for the past 150 yrs. since she was the only baby girl born from the family, it made her face look a bit different. but what she does not realize is that the idea that will break the curse is not what she thinks it is. but once the curse is problems other problems come out also. it is very well written. i highly recommended this movie.

here is another movie recommended to me by cinevolver. this is an excellent foreign film. it is colombian, so it is spanish with english substitles. there are a few aspects why this movie is such a good production. first the scenes. it really captures the sights of medellin, colombia. all the beauty and depression of this city of colombia. the scenes of the sunrises and sunsets are amazing. then there are the actors, this movie is very adult drama. there are a few very expiflict scenes that children should not be in the room for. the actors do a really good job in the storyline. it is a twisted between basic instinct and blow. just to give you an idea. the beginning of the movie is the end of the movie. you can see why this movie won so many awards. there is not much in the film that is not worth watching. i highly recommended this film also.

ok, i must admit when this film came out in the movie theater i was like , another chick flick. who can i get to go with me to see it. it really did not make too much of a difference. last night i finally got to see the movie on dvd and i was very surprise on how good the movie actually is. richard gere and diane lane still light up the screen when they are in a movie. it is like time has stood still with these two actors. the movie is very well written (same author who wrote the notebook), and even though the movies or stories are not the same in any shape or form, it is a great movie. take out the bos of tissue. i highly recommended.
