From the actual letter Albert Fish wrote to Grace Budd's parents, six years after he commited the horrific crime:
"...On Sunday June the 3, 1928 I called on you at 406 W 15 St. Brought you pot cheese?strawberries. We had lunch. Grace sat in my lap and kissed me. I made up my mind to eat her. On the pretense of taking her to a party. You said yes she could go. I took her to an empty house in Westchester I had already picked out. When we got there, I told her to remain outside. She picked wildflowers. I went upstairs and stripped all my clothes off. I knew if I did not I would get her blood on them. When all was ready I went to the window and called her. Then I hid in a closet until she was in the room. When she saw me all naked she began to cry and tried to run down the stairs. I grabbed her and she said she would tell her mamma. First I stripped her naked. How she did kick ? bite and scratch. I choked her to death, then cut her in small pieces so I could take my meat to my rooms. Cook and eat it. How sweet and tender her little ass was roasted in the oven. It took me 9 days to eat her entire body. I did not fuck her tho I could of had I wished. She died a virgin."
The narration of that part was spine chilling. Here's another confession about a child he brutally deprived of life:
"...I cut off his ears, nose, slit his mouth from ear to ear. Gouged out his eyes. He was dead then. I stuck the knife in his belly and held my mouth to his body and drank his blood... I came home with my meat. I had the front of his body I liked best. His monkey and pee wees and a nice little fat behind to roast in the oven and eat. I made a stew out of his ears, nose, pieces of his face and belly. I put onions, carrots, turnips, celery, salt and pepper. It was good. Then I split the cheeks of his behind open, cut off his monkey and pee wees and washed them first. I put strips of bacon on each cheek of his behind and put them in the oven. Then I picked 4 onions and when the meat had roasted about 1/4 hour, I poured about a pint of water over it for gravy and put in the onions. At frequent intervals I basted his behind with a wooden spoon. So the meat would be nice and juicy. In about 2 hours, it was nice and brown, cooked through. I never ate any roast turkey that tasted half as good as his sweet fat little behind did. I ate every bit of the meat in about four days..."
One thing I like is the fact that this documentary film never shies away from portraying the truth, which in Albert Fish's case is beyond atrocious. This really is some scary shit. Not for the blood and gore, but the sickening truth about one of history's most perverted and sadomasochistic serial killers: An old grey haired innocent looking man who must be every parent's worst nightmare. A man who would describe death by electrocution as the supreme thrill of his life, moments before he was put to death.

Unbelieveable cinematography. Stunning and equally fascinating. The documentary part of it wasn't so impressive though. A perfect example of style over substance.

Fairly pretentious bunch of people babbling mostly what sounded like brainwashing bullshit. Some of it I did find fascinating and thought provoking but some of these new age drivel annoys the shit out of me.
I honestly can't be bothered about these things. I don't see the point in it, atleast there's nothing it for me whether I buy into it or not. Maybe I'm not intelligent enough, but that's fine with me. I prefer things the way they are.

Directed by Leni Riefenstahl and comissioned by Adolf Hitler himself, this is certainly a masterclass in propaganda film making.
You'll really be blown away by some of the scenes showing the absolute loyalty and respect one man commanded from hundreds of thousands of his followers. Some of the speeches and scenes are nothing short of stunning and spectacular.
The only negative perhaps is that it's a bit too long at two hours of running time and it does get a bit boring at times but that is understandable considering that this is a political film in black and white.

Really painful to watch at times and highly disturbing. A brilliant documentary nevertheless.

If you've read any of my reviews on here you'll probably know I'm a pretty big fan of the 'f word'. I mean seriously it's the most amazing and versatile word in English language. There's not a single other word that you could use in as many situations.
I do agree though that there should be limits to anything but there's way too many other fucked up things out there that we should be concerned with, don't you think? I'm gonna have to agree with the liberals on this one. Fuck censorship!. Free speech hallelujah!
Personally I think it's all about the context and situation. I mean I use the word a lot but I know when I'm not supposed to and in those situations I don't use it. As long as you respect others opinion and they respect yours, there's no reason why we all can't get along.
Oh, and this is pretty well made I must say. Nice variety of interviews and all. With a title like that I was always gonna watch this anyway.
