I saw this on History Channel. It was very interesting. Although I have been fascinated with Egyptian History since I was a teenage and read everything that had to do with the Ancient Egypt , it was still very interesting and another Documentry from which I learned a little bit of more.

What I think:
I must admit that I dont believe in Angels, but this Documentary is very fascinating showing the different perspective of different religions with Concept and their Imagination of Angels and the question what actually are the Angels. As said I love to watch History Chanel for my Life. I was curious and enjoyed to watch Angels: Good or Evil? Let me say I have many DVD s from History Channel Documentary in my collection but Angel: Good or Evil wont be added in there.

God promised Abraham that he would not destroy Sodom if he could find ten righteous men... I have a feeling that for Germany it may come down to one.
I have seen many many Documentries of the WW2 from Propaganda Documentries made by Hitlers men to Amateuer Tapes not to mention the Books and I could rate this Movie down just because I think it isnt convincing. But there is a difference. And some Movies deliver more information. Hollywood can be rough and tough regarding History sometimes what is very good if you are aiming to learn the History.
I came many reviews across saying this Movie is a pure Adventure. I dont think Adventure is a right word. Valkyrie is presented more as a thriller than a war movie, it's interesting to learn about the story, which is relatively unknown to the general public, yet a momentous part of history. The movie does a good job of showing how far this small group of Germans was willing to go in order to save the country - and the continent - from total devastation.

I read very mixed reviews regarding Apocalypto. I was always fascinated by Mayan History and the fact I mostly watch every Episode regarding Mayas on History Channel, I was a little bit sceptical regarding Apocalypto. Agreed Mel Gibson tends to add those Violent Scenes in his Movies but at the other Hand exactly that makes the Movie/Documentary authentic and realistic. Every character is involved in the Story at some point though the heart of the Movie was the young hunter who was taken from his ravaged village by a posse of Mayan bounty hunters to a city to be sacrificed. I think if some people rated this masterpiece down then they dont have any clue and they did NOT pay attention, what is so very sad.

Documentary as these shows different perseptive and aspects. For a Fanatic it is perhaps a "Satan thing" What ever Satan means. For me it is another Documentary I can feed my Hunger a little bit for the History from the History.
We all share this small World, why not try to understand each other?

If you will not hear the truth, no one can tell you.

I think all the Movies regarding Jesus before The Passion of the Christ did not focus on the last days.

Many Directors tried to show the entire picture of the life Christi and if I remember, all the Mini Series to the Movies didnt show the last hours of Christi so intensively like Mel Gibson gave us a picture in about what happened.

What I even liked were the Flashbacks. I guess Mel Gibson wanted the Audience to see somewhat of the life christi for those perhaps who dont know about him, or have a wrong picture without "fading" off from the main story
"the final hours and crucifixion of Christi.

Hear/Say over two thousands years sweaped every bit of facts in every generation since then. We can only speculate at some point.

There were lacks here and there if I d go in to details, but I dont think it is relevant to go in to details anyway.

This Movie totally stole my attention. You dont have to be religious to watch this Movie.

For me Jesus was a man who died for something he believed in so hardly. Something he was convinced in and determinded to go through all that Pain for his Faith. What is not so often these days or even then.

Jim Caviezel was so great in his Role, I dont know if any other actor could have done it better. Maia Morgenstern looks gave me always about the picture of Maria. She was so great in her role. And Monica Belluci. Awesome Actress.

I must admit I cried so much specially during the scourging scene. It was very intense.

My Favorite Jesus playing actors were Jeremi Sisto in mini series Jesus and Willem Dafoe in the mini series The Last Temptation of Christ and Jim Caviezel in the Passion of The Christ.

by Colemann: It is not the first Movie based on the famous Argentinier, but by far the most ambitious: It Potrays Che and the chronicle of historical events at the same time.

I very much agree with Jason. I watched both of the Parts with my Friends. It was a little long but it was worth it.

The Soviet troops have been very brutal to German Women. After the WWII everyone wanted a piece of German. France, Italians, Russians, Brits and ofcourse America. I respect how Germans shows the dark piece of History of their Nation no matter as Victims or Torturer.

Das ist noch untertrieben. Die Russische Soldaten haben Deutsche Schwangere Frauen die Fötus gewaltsam entfernt und Fussball damit gespielt und auch noch dies gefilmt! Was heute die Russen versuchen zu untermauern, zu spät es zu verleugnen manche von uns haben diese graue taten auf TV gesehen und manche unsere vorfahren es auch erlebt. u.a. Und ja, alle wollten ein stück von Deutschland.

I have seen many many Documentries and read many books regarding World War 2. And the fact Liloh mentioned in her pre-review regarding the German Pregnant Women tortured by many Russian Soldiers and violently removed their fetus and playing Football with the dead corpse it was horrible. I have seen this Documentry long time ago. Horrible. Many German Women suffered after the Russian Troops marched in German.
And yes it is very true after the World War II Germany was nearly devided in FOUR or perhaps FIVE parts if we Count America.
