Good Night, And Good Luck
This is a great movie. I don't know if it being filmed in black and white has anything to do with it or not... probably does! This film would be five stars but it did have a lone GD in this PG rated film. I'm trying to figure out how the rating system looked over it...and *spoiler* there is a suicide by a secondary character. It isn't too bad but might hit too close to home for some. You don't see it coming until it happens. The casting and acting was above par and the script wasn't far behind. Definitely worth watching.

We Are Marshall
I have yet to watch this whole movie. I've seen the last 30 minutes twice thus far, and I'm crying my eyes out. I can't imagine dealing with the whole film. What I saw was well shot and the acting was entirely believable. Too much so for me though.

Amazing Grace (2007,  PG)
Amazing Grace
Love this movie. This is really on par with the period war or political statement films though. And it was worth every penny I spent on it too. This film is serious in tone, but the acting, cast, and script are top notch. You will see a few familiar faces from other period films in here too. And even though this is a serious drama, the script is peppered with a good dose of dry humor. *Spoiler* I enjoyed hearing the bagpipes at the end and how it recapped the story and characters. Reminded me of something I'd see in the old 30s and 40s films.
