Hercules in New York
ok so it's Arnie's first film and many others final (and possibly worst performances) the first 30mins is the funniest comedy anyone will ever see! it's not meant to be but it is. For shere comedy watch the fight with the bear on the loose it such bad acting and movie make up that it's hard not to laugh!!! however it then realises that it needs a plot and forgets that brilliant form of humour that got you watching it in the first place!!!!
Look out for Arnie's original dodgy accent, a godess so ugly you can't believe she is (when you see her you'll know) and Zeus's appearance as a Rabbi !!!

This film is good, very good. Fair enough it's in a dead language that no one speaks anymore but never the less it moves quite quickly and as a result you are swept along with it. Stick with this one and it does pay out! Although many people these day's love their CSI, i prefer the type of cop film that relies on instinct and looking around the facts to possibly show/prove/find the said killer. That said it is all about looking at evidence and seeing if you can find the loophole which will prove you right!!!

In all fairness it's always gonna be hard to top a really good film that came before and so this film trys its best and doesn't fail but you know it could be better
283
Black Snake Moan (2007,  R)
Black Snake Moan
an interestin tale regarding two people trying to fight their own demons. It proves beyond a doubt that Samuel L can act and so can Christina Ricci, although it's Justin Timberlake that kind of spoils the film as he try's to be taken seriously as an actor.
284
Spider-Man 3 (2007,  PG-13)
Spider-Man 3
Now the CG is very good! The plot is put together kind of sensibly but the villains need work!!! Especially Venom! He's ment to be a totally unstable angry little simbiant but comes off as kind of a pussy!! Come on he's meant to be superior than spiderman but NOOOOOOOO!
285

289
Hannibal Rising (2007,  R)
Hannibal Rising
basically explains nothing and as a result you wonder well it can't really be the reason why he starts muching on people
290
Brief Encounter (1945,  Unrated)
Brief Encounter
She's not that pretty, and the ending's funny. Call me cruel but an affair that ends with the local gossip queen coming in and ruining that final happy moment for the pair of them.

Blue Hawaii (1961,  PG)
292
Hey Arnold! The Movie (2002,  PG)
293
Sunshine (2007,  R)
Sunshine
A very visually stunning film, however i does give off a vibe very similar to Event Horizon. However very slick and intriguing viewing.
294
K-9 (1989,  PG-13)
K-9
An 80's comedy. Might have worked better if someone like Bill Murray had been cast in the lead role.
295
White Men Can't Jump (1992,  R)
White Men Can't Jump
It's hard work making you look this bad!! thus opens a film that is well scripted and cleverly crafted due to the good pairing of Snipes and Harrelson. Good film throughly enjoyable.
296
Syriana (2005,  R)
Syriana
Not amazingly interesting as the plot surrounds governments and tycoons blackmailing people over oil and who and where it belongs to.
297
The Dam Busters (1954,  Unrated)
The Dam Busters
ok so George Lucas is a thieving weasel of a man this classic takes its time warming up but once you understand the pressures of what has to happen it still captivates you with the feeling of hope towards the end that the mission will be a sucess!
298
Flushed Away (2006,  PG)
299

Meet the Robinsons
this little gem has it''s moments and is partially predictable in the same way that all disney is never the less sit back and enjoy!!!
300
The Reaping (2007,  R)
The Reaping
Dire horror that seems to want to be a biblical horror film only to be more of a we'll border on religious territory and then give up.
301
101 Dalmatians (One Hundred and One Dalmatians) (1961,  G)
302
101 Dalmatians II - Patch's London Adventure (2002,  G)
101 Dalmatians II - Patch's London Adventure
ok so its another disney cash cow. This one has yet another simplistic plot consisting of one pup trying to be unique whilst he already is. However the real intrigue in this film comes from why on earth a woman who deals in fashion (i.e. Cruella De Ville) would suddenly become obsessed with the art world?
303
Saw IV (2007,  R)
Saw IV
another meadiocre trip into the mind of Jigsaw the madman behind it all. As a result it's a good excuse to milk the series for the largest amount of shock gore tactics.

Ratatouille (2007,  G)
305
300 (2007,  R)
306

309
Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie (1994,  Unrated)
Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie
it's animation what else do you expect! so yes a fighting game that was basically 2-d is also a stylish piece of animation with unfortunately not so much of a plot as more a general outline. Fighters wanted - so it seems its a good enough reason to start kickin each others heads in!!!
310
Dangerous Liaisons (1988,  R)
Dangerous Liaisons
Stylish and yet maybe overdramatic, this slick little film was remade into Cruel Intentions not that long ago but imagine it with big georgian hairstyles and the whole aristocratic nature of the film.
311
Death Proof (Grindhouse Presents) (2007,  R)
Death Proof (Grindhouse Presents)
Mediocre at best this film is really about the thrill from the chase. Not very impressed otherwise, Tarantino your losing what litte credibility you have left!!
312
Knocked Up (2007,  R)
Knocked Up
Very funny film. More realistic than aiming for just simple comic laughs this film finds the comedy in modern day couples who only really get together because they're up the duff!! So take someone intelligent and put them with someone who's possibly not ready to grow up. Sit back and enjoy.
313
Cidade dos Homens (City of Men) (2007,  R)
Cidade dos Homens (City of Men)
A series that follows two brazillian boys and looks at some of the antics that they get up to in order to survive the harsh environment of the slum life.
314
Evan Almighty (2007,  PG)
Evan Almighty
Throughly enjoyable film this one. Like Bruce Almighty God calls on Evan Baxter to help him perform a task. It's basicallly the story of Noah in a modern setting. More comedy like this needs to be made!!
315
Rush Hour 3 (2007,  PG-13)
Rush Hour 3
Some amusing moments but otherwise it's a fun buddy comedy but has nothing in comparisson with its predecessors!
316
Wrong Turn 2: Dead End (2007,  Unrated)
Wrong Turn 2: Dead End
a proper blood and guts sequal with gore splashed absolutely everywhere. premise is the same as every other movie sequal ever really made.
317
The Time Machine (1960,  G)
The Time Machine
An unusual 60's take on the future but an interestin insight into how badly the american's viewed the cold war. As always though this film is more about mans duel nature and how he cannot be at peace with himself.
318
Scream (1996,  R)

327
Astérix et Cléopâtre (Asterix and Cleopatra) (1968,  Unrated)
Astérix et Cléopâtre (Asterix and Cleopatra)
not a bad film adaptation considering it's adapted from a book that is very hard to portray in a cinematic version.
328
Astérix chez les Bretons (Asterix in Britain) (1986,  Unrated)
Astérix chez les Bretons (Asterix in Britain)

Astérix et le coup du menhir (Asterix and the Big Fight) (Asterix - Operation Hinkelstein)
Another blend of Asterix story's. this one comprising of Asterix and the big fight and Asterix and the Soothsayer.
Take note of the name changes for all the additional characters.
330
Les Douze travaux d'Astérix (The Twelve Tasks of Asterix) (1976,  Unrated)
Les Douze travaux d'Astérix (The Twelve Tasks of Asterix)
Although the book is based on this film it is nothing more than a simple series of incidents to show that both asterix and obelix have intellect as well as strength and friendship.
331
Astérix le Gaulois (Asterix the Gaul) (1967,  Unrated)
Astérix le Gaulois (Asterix the Gaul)
Another well animated Asterix film. Sticking once again to the singular plot line that is also in the books. The animation is smooth and you may even see the little things that are also seen in the book!!
332
Bleach (2004,  Unrated)
Bleach
This IS AWESOME entertainment!!! All surrounding and mainly taking place in the limbo between death and life, this is deep and makes you wonder about the after life, but be aware once hooked there's no real going back!!
333
Day Watch (Dnevnoi Dozor) (2006,  R)
Day Watch (Dnevnoi Dozor)
ok so it's not as good as it's predecessor but what would be? Visually very stylistic but can be seen as testing the waters for his big Hollywood debut with 'Wanted' either way still a nice visually impressive film to sit and actually watch.
334
Shrek the Third (Shrek 3) (2007,  PG)
Shrek the Third (Shrek 3)
Not the best outing this time round!! Donkey's pushed to the side in the hopes of a better story line that then fails to deliver the great gags we've come to expect from this series!!!
335
Stranger Than Fiction (2006,  PG-13)
336
The French Connection (1971,  R)

338
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007,  R)
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
very nicely shot and set at a time period that cinema has slowly forgotten. Good film all round a show that the western could possibly be back!
339
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007,  R)
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
it's very sinister in appearence and style with good reasoning. However towards the end it kind of trails off a bit and as a result you know whats gonna happen. on the upside this is a good display of a gothic musical similar to the type of vigour one would expect from a good musical. Yes its a musical but dont let it stop you from enjoying this nice little film by Burton!!!
340
Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj (Van Wilder 2) (2006,  R)
341
Resident Evil: Extinction (2007,  R)
Resident Evil: Extinction
it's a nice finish to the trilogy but as a stand alone film it's quite rubbish. Other than that it's the best of the bunch unfortunately pinching ideas and motives from other horror films throughout the years. Keep your eyes open for the biggest rip off of 'The Birds'.
342
Submarine 707R - The Movie (,  Unrated)
Submarine 707R - The Movie
Tales surrunding a submarine thats on the verge of decommisioning, anyway there's a man trying to ensure the sea remains free and the captain of the 707 wants to ensure that the waters are secure. Bit pointless really when both parties are looking for the same thing in different places.

Planet Terror (Grindhouse Presents: Robert Rodriguez's Planet Terror)
This film rocks the shiz niz, it's the bees knees baby!! first off in tyical Rodriguez style and class pulls off a genuine horror/action film. The man know's how to maker film.
Anyways this is basically a zombie horror film with violence and a touch of cool and classy about it self. But once the main character gains the use of a gun as her leg the party gets started.
349
Ever After - A Cinderella Story (1998,  PG-13)

R.O.D. - Read or Die (2003,  Unrated)
R.O.D. - Read or Die
An intriguing little set of tales regarding a secret organization that monitors activity's bit like a spy network, but regarding the content and attributes of books. Some good ideas in here but needs a slightly better plot line to really motivate it!

356
The Man in the Iron Mask (1998,  PG-13)
357
The Transporter (2002,  PG-13)
The Transporter
a very good action film that moves at break neck speed. Statham's simple talking anti-action hero just steals the film.
358
Transporter 2 (2005,  PG-13)
Transporter 2
seen only last 45 mins but if you can figure out how it began then surely it cant be much better!

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969,  PG)
365
Godzilla (1998,  PG-13)
366
Home Alone 4 (2002,  Unrated)
Home Alone 4
Watchable, however you get the feeling that the script is a bit half-baked together, plus the odds of Marv running into Kevin for a third time is just a bit too far fetched.
367
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007,  PG)
368
The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958,  G)
The 7th Voyage of Sinbad

Need to watch it properly but the basis seemed ok
371
The X-Files - Fight the Future (1998,  PG-13)
372
Last Man Standing (1996,  R)
Last Man Standing
ok so it's a nice gangster flick, however those who have seen quite a bit in the movie world will easily or if not try to ignore the fact that this film is nothing short of a remake of 'A Fistful of Dollars' just change the time, situation and place and it's near on a spot on remake. Although take note that one can argue that elements of Bruce's Sin City character Hartigan can be seen in this movie as well.
373
Interview with the Vampire (1994,  R)
374
Back to the Future (1985,  PG)

Back to the Future Part III (1990,  PG)
377
Summer Holiday (1963,  Unrated)
Summer Holiday
Very good music and a good example of how some people would have been dubbed for musical numbers. Other than that you consider how camp it is by today's standard and well it could almost be a film for those who swing the other way!
378
Dracula - Prince of Darkness (1966,  Unrated)
Dracula - Prince of Darkness
an average version of Dracula, not quite as chilling as it could be but just enjoy the true britishness of the cast. Christopher Lee as always is supremely creepy and chilling as the count is always a bonus for watching.
379
The Plague of the Zombies (1966,  Unrated)
The Plague of the Zombies
not the best zombie film ever but incorporating elements of voodoo and suspicion this film is one to sit bk and amuse some time with.
380
Rasputin, the Mad Monk (1966,  Unrated)
Rasputin, the Mad Monk
Christopher Lee is a Legend in the world of acting his portrayal of Rasputin is scary and haunting, however he is let down by the rest of the cast who just seem to illustrate how good Lee really is.
381
The Reptile (1966,  Unrated)
The Reptile
an interestin Hammer film. unfortunately the final creatures make-up isn't the best and how it dies is somewhat laughable.
382
The Witches (1967,  Unrated)

One Million Years B.C. (1967,  Unrated)
One Million Years B.C.

The Vengeance of She (Ayesha, Daughter of She) (Ayesha, the Return of She)
a sequel to Hammer's horror movie 'She' - not quite as captivating as it's predecessor but keep your ears peeled and you may just hear a sample found in a drum and bass tune that i can't name as of the moment!
388
The Devil Rides Out (1968,  G)
The Devil Rides Out
Another Hammer horror this time a wicked occult brainwashes people in order to carry out its dark purpose. Worth a watch for the effect of the angel of death, just dont look at it!

Mystery upon mystery as a woman who looks like an ancient mummy becomes involved in a series of events that could lead to the ressurection of an ancient evil. Good effects on the moving hand though.

397
The Nanny (1965,  Unrated)
The Nanny
a very strange horror film that is truely creepy and one that deserves to stand out in the Hammer hall of fame. Very creepy as one doesn't know whether to argue that the nanny is evil or is it the child....contemplate, wonder and enjoy.
398
She (1965,  Unrated)
She
a strange horror film from hammer studios, following a bunch of archiologists trying to discover a lost city ruled by a woman who has lived for more than 2000 years. Easy going entertainment but a very impressive effect showing an extremely fast ageing process that for the time is very impressive indeed.
399
Casshan: Robot Hunter (1993,  Unrated)
Casshan: Robot Hunter
amusing film but as usual finds itself in the realm of the usual sci-fi robot premise of robots will take control due to mis-interpretting what we programmed them to do!!

Shoot 'Em Up (2007,  R)
Shoot 'Em Up
ok so the story plot could have been thought up by a toddler staring who's played one to many trigger happy games. Otherwise it's a film with lots of violence, one liners, and no real plot line for the first half of the film only for the plot to really be god awful when it's revealed to you.
405
Sister Act (1992,  PG)
406
Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit (1993,  PG)

409
Pulp Fiction (1994,  R)
410
Disturbia (2007,  PG-13)

a very good film considering that it's a remake of Rear window. Yes ideas are updated and modernised but the storys principally the same, person confined to house starts spying on neighbours suddenly realises and believes that a murderer lives nextdoor....
411
Bloodrayne (2006,  R)
Bloodrayne
after waiting ages to see this film because i thought the game was quite reasonable this film should be stripped of it's title! ITS BAD PEOPLE!! piss poor storyline as well as the way its told, the fight sequences are so awful that you can see how they've been choreographed and it isn't even fast paced, fights are slow plot slower and no sense or reasoning could possibly help improve this film in any way. Now i'm not sure if the sequal could do any better but then again how could it be any worse?
412
Southland Tales (2006,  R)
Southland Tales
Richard Kelly the man behind Donnie Darko gives us this strange yet unusual tale about a different universe where the Iraq war led to WW3 and how as a result the internet becomes heavily monitored (oh wait they've started to do that) anall of this has something to do with multi-verses and how an actor turned politician has gotten caught up in this strange confusion.

417
Rambo (Rambo IV) (2008,  R)
Rambo (Rambo IV)
ok so after another viewing my opinion goes up on this final part of the rambo series, as it shows how he comes to terms with himself and what he does for a living. also the most blood thirsty of the bunch.
418
Iron Man (2008,  PG-13)
Iron Man
Your average Superhero start up fim. Big problems, man feels he must deal with it and so becomes a superhero. A sequal will truely show if this franchise is worth following!

Although many will argue its a very confusing plot, its still worth a watch in the sense of visual direction from ridley scott. This is a masterpiece in science fiction film territory

Dangerous Days: Making Blade Runner (2007,  Unrated)
