I Bought a Vampire Motorcycle (1990,  Unrated)
I Bought a Vampire Motorcycle
The title says it all. A bunch of motorcyclist are performing a ritual of summoning an evil spirit, and during the ritual they get killed by another gang. The spirit they were summoning inhabits one of the motorcycle's, which then gets sold. The new owner has absolutely no idea of what has happened to the motorcycle, he just wonders why the bike won't work during daytime and what that odd, red stuff in the cycle's tank is. At night, the bike goes around the town killing the people who were in the gang who killed it's previous owner, and also some unsuspecting people walking around at night. When the new owner finds out he owns a vampire motorcycle, he's desperate to get rid of the spirit without harming the bike - after all, he paid 1100 pounds for it. Overall, I Bought A Vampire Motorcycle is a movie you should not miss if you like not-scary, b-class horror movies that don't take themselves too seriously.

Brokeback Mountain
This is definitely the best movie I've ever seen, and I find it a bit odd 'cause I usually can't stand any kind of love stories. I have to say it made me a bit depressed 'cause there was no happy ending, but then again - I don't think this would have been such a great movie without the sad ending. One of those very few movies that has actually made me cry, and BBM made me also think about life.

House of Wax (2005,  R)
House of Wax
I had only one reason why I wanted to see this movie - I heard Paris Hilton gets killed in it. And in my opinion just that scene made the movie worth watching. Twice.
143
Point Break (1991,  R)
144
Wes Craven Presents Wishmaster (1997,  R)
145
Men in Black II (2002,  PG-13)

Freddy vs. Jason (2003,  R)
147
Secret Window (2004,  PG-13)
148
A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984,  R)
A Nightmare on Elm Street
"One, two, Freddy's coming for you..." When I saw this movie for the very first time, those words kept going on and on in my head for days. This movie is simply great, and Freddy Krueger is the most unique horror movie villain I've ever seen. Too bad they didn't let him and his evil-humored attitude shine enough on this movie.
149
A Nightmare on Elm Street 2 - Freddy's Revenge (1985,  R)
A Nightmare on Elm Street 2 - Freddy's Revenge
This isn't as good as the first Elm Street movie, but luckily this one doesn't ruin the legend of Freddy Krueger, like sequels usually do. It let's us know more about him, and that's good enough for me.
150
A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 - Dream Warriors (1987,  R)
A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 - Dream Warriors
I like Elm Street movies. It's a good thing that in sequels they tell little more about Freddy Krueger, and didn't tell his entire story in the very first film. Worse than the first A Nightmare on Elm Street, but better than the second.
151
A Nightmare on Elm Street 4 - The Dream Master (1988,  R)
A Nightmare on Elm Street 4 - The Dream Master
I'm surprised that I don't get bored with these Elm Street movies, 'cause usually I think movies which have many sequels suck. I guess I like Elm Street films so much because in every film they reveal something more about Freddy.
152
A Nightmare on Elm Street 5 - The Dream Child (1989,  R)
A Nightmare on Elm Street 5 - The Dream Child
In the fifth part of the Elm Street series, they've used nicely the old characters from the previous film, unlike many movie series usually do. I must say this is one of my favourites of the Elm Street series, 'cause they finally let Freddy talk more. His sick humor is great, just like he is. And so is this movie. The Dream Child was the first Elm Street movie I saw, so I think I'll never forget it.
153
Freddy's Dead - The Final Nightmare (1991,  R)
Freddy's Dead - The Final Nightmare
This was the second Elm Street movie I've seen. It's also one of my fav movies of the series. They finally reveal something important about Freddy's past, and give him a way to kill children outside Springwood. The ending rocked - Freddy always gets the last word.
154
Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994,  R)
Wes Craven's New Nightmare
I think this is the worst Elm Street movie. Mainly because in this part they ruined Freddy. Nothing special, but good to watch if you have nothing better to do.

The Hamiltons (2006,  R)
The Hamiltons
This could've been a great movie, but there was little mistakes which ruined it. I think the actors weren't believable enough, and even though the plot was unique and good, it was a bit too confusing. The ending was too predictable, and there was few little questions I didn't get answers. Good idea, bad production.
250
The Ninth Gate (1999,  R)
The Ninth Gate
This movie was great, but the ending... was just really disappointing. I mean, the whole movie was about demons and such, so I would've expected a lot of blood and sacrificing people or something. The movie was good, so why did they ruin the ending?
251
The Number 23 (2007,  R)
252
Astérix et le coup du menhir (Asterix and the Big Fight) (Asterix - Operation Hinkelstein) (1989,  Unrated)

Dark Star
I always like John Carpenter's movies, more or less. This wasn't funny enough to make me laugh, but it did make me smile a little at some points. The only part were I actually laughed a bit was the ending. After watching this movie I was so happy John Carpenter decided to make horror movies instead.

Severance (2006,  R)
Severance
Not scary, and some points make absolutely no sense. And I still liked it. The funny parts were quite weird, and that's why I liked them. This is probably the first horror movie I've seen where my favourite character does NOT get killed. I have got to love that.
263
Reign Over Me (2007,  R)
264
Black Sheep (2006,  Unrated)
Black Sheep
I wanted to see this movie 'cause I thought it could be either crappy or awesome. And it was really hilarious! After the first few minutes [which were quite boring] the movie turned into a better way. And I think if the sheep would be replaced with wolves or something, this could be a "real" horror movie instead of a horror comedy. I've got to say that I loved the fact that the lead male character wasn't the typical hero like guys usually are in this kind of movies. "I'm not a tree. I'm a fucking sheep!"
265
The Road to El Dorado (2000,  PG)
The Road to El Dorado
This is my favourite animation ever. I've seen it a million times, and still love it. I must admit though, I've always watched it with the Finnish dub, and only once in English. When I saw The Road to El Dorado with the original, English dub, I was shocked of how bad it was compared to the Finnish one. If you get the opportunity to see this movie with Finnish dub, you shouldn't miss it.

Hellraiser VI - Hellseeker
I didn't understand even half of this movie, but I kinda liked it. Probably 'cause Dean Winters is one of my favourite actors, he pretty much saved this movie. Maybe I would've understood more if I'd seen more than this and the first movie of Hellraiser series.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975,  R)
The Rocky Horror Picture Show
I'm not the biggest fan of musicals, but when I heard about The Rocky Horror Picture Show I wanted to see it, because it seemed to be the kind of musical I might like. But I was wrong. I didn't like it. I loved it. It's one of the most unique movies I've ever seen.

Tim Curry's character's, Dr. Frank-N-Furter's first appearence is in my opinion the greatest first appearance of any movie character in every movie ever made. He throws away his cape, and there he is, wearing fishnets and a corset, singing "I'm just a sweet transvestite from Transsexual Transylvania."

I do understand why there are people who hate this movie. It's so weird, crazy, and not that serious. But all that insanity appeals to me, and that's why I've seen this movie four times already, even though I've only owned the DVD for two months. Maybe I'm just insane myself, but if I am it must be because I've done the time warp too many times. One of my favourite movies, and definitely my favourite musical.

Crash
I had two reasons why I saw this movie - 1. It won the Oscar instead of Brokeback Mountain, and 'cause BBM is my favourite movie, this should be really good, and 2. I found this movie on DVD for 3,50 euros. Well, Crash was worth 3,50 euros but not the Oscar. It's an okay movie, but if you ask me, it's nothing special. Crash is filled with characters which are deep down inside the same. There's also way too many characters, so you can't really get a hold of them and care about them enough. The events of the movie are way too predictable, none of them surprised me. Overall, the movie's okay, but with a little more effort it could've been a lot better.

Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon (2006,  R)
Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon
I didn't find this movie actually scary, but I still loved it. I loved how it was mainly focusing on the man behind the mask, instead of the psychotic killer he becomes when he puts the mask on.

I loved how this movie lets us get to know Leslie Vernon, who dreams of becoming a legend like Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers. He explains all the things he has to do in order to become good at his so-called job, how he pics his victims and even introduces us to Eugene, the man who taught him everything he knows. Also, the fact that a big part of this movie was filmed documentary-style gets extra points from me.

If I'd have to find something to whine about in this movie, I'd say I would've wanted to see more Robert Englund in it. But, you can't have everything and that's a stupid reason to complain about, so I'll just shut up about it.

If you've always wondered how horror movie serial killers do their job, you shouldn't miss this movie.

WIthIN (The Cavern)
Again one of those movies where the poster makes it look interesting but the result is just plain awful.

The characters have typical and predictable arguments, so you can't actually wait 'till they drop dead. The camera shakes most of the time, and because the characters aren't filming it themselves, it just doesn't work. Also, the view angle changes about every two seconds, like it wasn't already confusing enough. And I know this movie happens in a cave, but would it still have been too hard to use a better lighting so you can actually see what happens there? Not to mention the "thing" they were fighting against was lame.

The reasons why I give this movie even this high rating is that even though this was awful it's still not boring, I love bad movies [especially horror] and this is not the worst possible movie.

The Ruins
I thought this would be a nice, awful little horror movie, just the way I like them. So I can't even start to describe the shock when I watched this movie and actually liked it, and not because it was bad, but because it was actually pretty good.

And I have absolutely no idea why I liked this movie. There was some pretty bad acting, typical characters, predictable events, and they didn't even bother to explain what the hell was actually wrong with those damn ruins.

Just.. what the hell?

Small Town Folk
I was interested in seeing Small Town Folk because the trailer made it seem like a twisted and creepy film. It wasn't as scary as I thought it to be, in fact I didn't find it scary at all. But other than that it was a really entertaining movie.

There were so many things I enjoyed about this film - it looked old, Grockleton and it's residents looked like they were ripped off of some twisted fantasy world, and there were quite a few moments when I couldn't help but laugh. Sure, the special effects were pretty bad, and there were a few actors who were just terrible, but hey - I like bad movies, and those bad actors got killed after they had been on the screen for about two minutes, so it's not that bad.

Small Town Folk is pretty unknown film, and after watching it I couldn't help but wonder if they'd had a bigged budget when making this movie, would it have gotten more fans and respect than it does now?
