To be quite honest I detest this film. I, like every other person was brain washed by this at first. After seeing this now, it is complete rubbish. Maybe its the lack of historical content, or maybe its just the awful acting; likely it is just the "love" story. Titanic is one of the most overrated films ever. I'd rather not be one of the flock, thanks. Kate Winslet makes me want to pry my eyes out with a fork. I think you can probably tell, nothing about Titanic appeals to me; at all. |

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (2005, PG)
I read the book several years ago and have to say this is a let down. The acting was below par, but I think this was mainly due to the actors being mis-cast. However, the CGI could not make up for the lack of on screen chemistry. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe really lacks something, I just can't place my finger on what. What also annoyed me a little is that this is not the first book in The Chronicles of Narnia series. Why start with the second? It isn't bad for younger children I suppose. |
