1
Ocean's Thirteen (2007,  PG-13)
2
Righteous Kill (2008,  R)
Righteous Kill
Pacino and De Niro are, once again, excellent - not as great as in some of their most famous performances, but still. But the script is very flawed and the direction could also have been much better.
3
Gigli (2003,  R)
Gigli
Why Al Pacino ever agreed to be a part of this I'll never understand. He was great, though - as usual. At least there's somthing good about it.
4
Frankie & Johnny (1991,  R)
5
Scarecrow (1973,  R)

The Panic in Needle Park (1971,  PG)

17
Box of Moonlight (1997,  R)
18
Snow Angels (2007,  R)
Snow Angels
WOW! Such a sad, but beautiful love story... And so truthful - the whole time you feel like you know the characters and what they're going through. Plus, Michael and Olivia prove themselves to be worthy of being between the most promising young talents in Hollywood. And, finally, Sam Rockwell is fucking AWESOME.
19
Bubble Boy (2001,  PG-13)
Bubble Boy
So cute!
20
The Good Girl (2002,  R)
The Good Girl
It's nice to see Jennifer Aniston playing a part that is so different from Rachel. She has proved she can play both funny and dramatic. Plus, she has great chemistry with Jake Gyllenhaal - you can't not watch this movie and not fall in love with his performance.
21
Zodiac (2007,  R)
Zodiac
Although the entire cast is stellar and does a really good job, Jake Gyllenhaal takes over and is an excellent leading man, as usual. David Fincher is at his best, and historic accuracy is stunning! One of the best of the year, for sure!
22
Lovely & Amazing (2001,  R)
Lovely & Amazing
A very realistic movie about how hard it is to be a family and sticking together. Really good!
23
Titanic (1997,  PG-13)
Titanic
It might be corny, but I liked it - I watched it 21 more times. Leo and Kate will always have a special place in my heart for this.
24
Revolutionary Road (2008,  R)
Revolutionary Road
Kate Winslet and Leonardo Di Caprio really do have great chemistry! Their performances feel very real. But there's a third star: Sam Mendes. The calmness and stillness of all of his previous films are there, but this time there's also a great deal of sadness, frustration and unhappiness. Although it is set in the '50s, RR feels very close to what relationships are nowadays. Simply terrific!
25
Finding Neverland (2004,  PG)
26
Sense and Sensibility (1995,  PG)
Sense and Sensibility
What a fine, fine film! Great cast, and beautifully directed by Ang Lee. It could only have come from the mastermind of Jane Austen.
27
Little Children (2006,  R)
Little Children
Kate Winslet always delivers a flawless performance. She and Patrick Wilson have great chemistry.
28
Amores Perros (2001,  R)
Amores Perros
It' s a movie about everyday life, and how we bump into each other and don't even notice. Ińarritu is spectacular.
29
The Virgin Suicides (2000,  R)
30
Lost In Translation (2003,  R)
31
Lords of Dogtown (2005,  PG-13)
Lords of Dogtown
Even for those of us who are in no way familiar with the skateboarders' world, Lords of Dogtown is interesting from beginning to end. The cast is really great - specially Emile Hirsch and Heath Ledger.
32
The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys (2002,  R)
33
The Squid and the Whale (2005,  R)
The Squid and the Whale
Noah Baumbach seems to be an expert at damaged people and relationships that, somehow, manage to mend in the end. And what a cast!
34
Secretary (2002,  R)
Secretary
A different love story, like it's never been told!
35
Pride and Prejudice (2005,  PG)
36
American History X (1998,  R)
American History X
Edward Norton is a brilliant actor, and if you have any doubt of that you must watch this movie. It makes us question things in our society, and it makes you think. Just brilliant.
37
American Beauty (1999,  R)
American Beauty
Sam Mendes is an incredible director! Kevin Spacey is on top of his game, as well as the rest of the cast.
38
Pulp Fiction (1994,  R)
39
Juno (2007,  PG-13)
Juno
The true deserver of the Best Feature Film Oscar for me! This film is magical, for lack of a better word! Ellen Page's character is so real - as are the supporting roles - and Diablo Cody's script is as refreshing as they get!
40
Hable con Ella (Talk to Her) (2002,  R)
Hable con Ella (Talk to Her)
Almodóvar is just brilliant in every single way! He tells the most unusual stories, and somehow you still identify with the characters! Great movie!
41
Everything is Illuminated (2005,  PG-13)
Everything is Illuminated
It's way better than I expected! And Elijah Wood's character reminds me a little bit of myself!
42
The Bridges of Madison County (1995,  PG-13)
43
Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus (2006,  R)
Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus
Incredible! Brilliantly written, directed and acted. I've yet to see it again
44
Love Actually (2003,  R)
45
Billy Elliot (2000,  R)
Billy Elliot
What a lovely story! Jamie Bell shines as a young talent, and the supporting cast is just as brilliant, with the likes of Julie Walters and Gary Lewis. It's fun and adorable at the same time - just the way I like it.
46
Amelie (Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain) (2001,  R)
Amelie (Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain)
A wonderfully written character living in an incredible version of the real world. The director did an amazing job, and so did Audrey. If that wasn't enough, it's set in Paris. In the end, you feel like being a part of that world.
47
Trainspotting (1996,  R)
Trainspotting
Some of the best young British actors of the 90s in a single movie. Great direction by Danny Boyle - he made a truly honest film, like no other.
48
Paris, Texas (1984,  R)
